His plan is WORKING. Via press release:

Trump for President, Inc., President Trump’s reelection campaign committee, released a new campaign advertisement that highlights some of the President’s remarkable achievements, exposes the President’s “enemies,” and references Americans who are “…saying let President Trump do his job.”

      And hating and LYING, relentlessly!

      (And grifting!)

    • Cucker “Dick” Tarlson

      And grifting.

  • kcken

The man hasn’t passed a single piece of major legislation that would alter employment, the stock market, or the debt limit of the USA.

    THANKS OBAMA!

    • Leo

If the Dems want symbolism in their attack ads, they can start with Carrier. The quotes from their workers now in recent articles who initially believed him are brutal.

      • Ninja0980

You can bet Joe Donnelly will be doing just that next year.

      • Pat

This is exactly what they should do, and don’t stop there.

Or the military. He’s made threats that would destabilize the military, but done nothing to make it stronger.

  • Todd20036

    Remember, he’s still on vacation.

And he’s taking credit for Obama’s accomplishments – he’s passed no major legislation himself.

And btw, the Nazis have taken over 2 branches of American government.

So here’s my questions: you Bernie bros who didn’t vote for Clinton because she only voted with bernie 93% of the time and you apathetic voters who thought both parties are the same, why haven’t you flung yourselves in front of the Nazis yet, given how “Hitlery Clinton” is no better than Trump was?

    • Carl

But we have to put civil rights aside because something something banks something something revolution.

    • Gustav2

Ms Clinton would have been investigated to death and obstructed on every intuitive.

Now the Teavangelicals have shown themselves to (we don’t pay attention) Middle America, we might now rid ourselves of them for a few decades.

Then American will forget and vote them in again.

      • Lizard

I’ve said since campaigning started in 2015 that 2016 would be an election between nothing getting done (Democratic president) and going backwards (Republican president).

  • BobSF_94117

In what possible sense has the military gotten stronger? The only thing Trump has done is allow our naval forces to go free-range and wander about in the wrong direction.

    • -M-

Don’t forget sowing chaos with his transgender ban nonsense, inflaming military tensions around the world, aiding Islamic terrorists’ recruiting, and destroying trust in the intentions and reliability of the US and it’s military.

  • billbear1961

Stop taking credit for OBAMA’S work, you NAZI liar!

  • MBear

    He hasnt even DONE anything

    • Lumpy Gaga

      BECAUSE somebody isn’t letting him!!!!

      Apparently.

      • -M-

That would be the Constitution of the United States.

    • billbear1961

Except disgrace himself, the presidency and this country, REPEATEDLY!

        And dismantle the Federal Government.

    • Pat

He’s lined his and his family’s pockets using his position and properties, and took golf vacation after vacation at our expense. To him, these are accomplishments.

  • Lumpy Gaga

Really? They called it “Let President Trump Do His Job”?

    Really?

  • PickyPecker
    • kcken

      Yeah, pretty much! :-/

    • Karl Dubhe

You’re supposed to use the Tiki torch to light the other stuff, right?

      It’s a start at MAGA.

    • billbear1961
    • Ragnar Lothbrok

Last week we drove by my sister’s house, and her neighbor has a Gigantic Confederate flag on the porch. In my town there is a chick that drives a pickup around with a confederate flag covering the back window. She works at the local Convenience store.
      Good people, I’m sure………

      • Carl

I like it when people make their red flags easy to spot.

      • Nic Peterson

        Bless their hearts.

        • Bluto

No, the time for politeness is over. Fuck them!!

          • Diogenes Onionpants

I don’t know where Nic is from, but as an escapee from the Deep South, I can let you in on a secret of the southern lexicon. Language meaning there is context- and inflection-dependent. Depending on how it’s pronounced, the phrase “bless your heart” can mean what it literally says, or (and this is actually very common) something roughly the equivalent of “fuck you, you ghoulish prick.”

I’m taking it that Nic meant it in the latter sense.

          • Bluto

I’m sure that’s exactly what Nic meant.

          • -M-

Or just, “Wow, you’re so stupid.”

          • Lizard

Still down here and I second this assessment.

      • Pat

Salt of the earth. Someone interviewed the murderous stooge’s mother and I saw some sympathy for her in the comments. Not me. She raised it. Even his teachers said he was abnormally interested in Nazis. Kind of hard to miss if you’re parenting.

        • PeterC

It was her Son and was on psychotic drugs. How would you deal with that? A very tough deck of cards to deal with.

          • Pat

I feel sorry for the young woman he killed and for her family and friends and everyone who was hurt or witnessed that car hurtling into a crowd of peaceful protesters with the intent to kill. I have a son. If he were on anti-psychotics and was abnormally interested in Nazis and attending a neo-Nazi demonstration, I think a few warning flags might be raised. The problem is, people never think their own could do something like that but how many times are we going to see people like him or Dylann Roof kill and miss the warning signs under our own roofs?

    • Cucker “Dick” Tarlson

      Forgot the white polo shirt.

    • Carl

Those tikki torches are actually really nice. Now people will think I’m a nazi when I buy one next time I decide to have a picnic

      • Dreaming Vertebrate

Be careful. Today, perception is reality.

      • Bj Lincoln

We were going to pick some up today but I think we will pass. I’m sure we can find more solar lights instead.

      • JCF

(In the winter that is: California)

    • RoFaWh

No statuette of Jefferson Davis or Robert E. Lee?

  • DN

Not the point of the post, I acknowledge, but….

Now that he’s launched a 2020 campaign in earnest, the left needs to follow the right’s rule: no Supreme Court appointments during an election campaign.

He has launched a campaign, therefore: no Supreme Court appointments.

    • You’re not likely to find many that’ll disagree, but today, this moment, really requires far more attention.

      • DN

Completely agree – just want it out there for later

    • Ninja0980

Or any judicial nominations for that matter.

  • Ross

    100% predictable.

    Yesterday, Donnie got criticized.

So, today he has to go on the attack, and also puff himself up.

    100% predictable.

    • BobSF_94117

I doubt they whipped that up overnight.

      • Ross

        I also doubt that.

But I have no doubt the ad was in the wings.

        • Cucker “Dick” Tarlson

I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that the White House colluded with the nazis to perpetuate yesterday’s violence and lead into this ad.

The attack on the counter-protesters was gravy to them.

      • JCF

But they didn’t pull its release: same diff.

    • RoFaWh

      He cannot stand criticism.

If we all started teasing him about the cheap crappy underwear he wears, probably bought at an end-of-line dollar store, he’d still go on another rampage of denunciation of his enemies.

Hey, Donnie-boy, can you still get it up? Thought not!

      Hey, Donnie-boy, what’s with the ever-increasing waistline?

Hey, Donnie-boy, why do your suits fit so badly? Maybe if you let the tailor provide you with one properly sized, they wouldn’t look like well-used burlap bags used for potatoes. If you keep insisting on a smaller size let out to fit, they’re always going to look quite lumpish-trumpish.

      and so on…

  • Gustav2

And who else had an “enemies list?”

    • Carl

I wasn’t alive at the time but I don’t think that other guy advertised his enemy list.

      • Gustav2

Nixon used the IRS to announce when you were on the list.

It is a new age. Everything must be on the internet. Everything is TMI. Trump must boast 24/7

    • Dagoril

And if he has a need for an enemies list, maybe he’s the one doing it wrong? If so many people are opposed to your agenda, maybe you’re a Nazi.

    • Reality.Bites

Please don’t insult Nixon by comparing him to Trump

      • Gustav2

Nixon was as unbalanced at the end as Trump is at his beginning.

        Then there is Jeffery Lord.

      • Lizard

Exactly. Say what you want about Nixon–he was politically savvy and knew when he was cooked.

    • Acronym Jim

      Beat me to it.

  • OdieDenCO

touting all his accomplishments? not one can be attributed to donny. Employment and the economy are both the result of President Obama’s leadership. the shit gibbon had nothing to do with it.

  • bkmn

The only reason Ted Cruz was critical of Trump yesterday was because of ‘Cruz 2020’

  • Ragnar Lothbrok

    Heard someone say :
Who would have thought that threatening nuclear war wasn’t even the worse thing the President did in a single week.

    • kcken

Nu-klear war. And giving a wink to the Nazi’s …

Anyone else remember when the biggest threat to America was GAY MARRIAGE?

      • jimbo65

Unfortunately during the Bush reelection campaign, people believed it was. Thanks to Cheney and Karl Rove making it a culture war issue. One step forward, two steps back

  • Cucker “Dick” Tarlson

Bannon’s back in the driver’s seat. Kelly will announce his resignation by Friday.

    • Karl Dubhe

Only if Kelly has any honor. Which is questionable as he took a job with Trump.

      • Reality.Bites

The way I see it, there are muggers, robbers who unpremeditatedly kill in the commission of a crime, contract killers, serial killers, etc.

None have honour. But none wants to be perceived as the next one on the list.

  • Dagoril

So when will Shitler invite the Neo-Nazis to parade around in front of that dump, the White House? Next week? Tomorrow?

    • Dreaming Vertebrate

      Bannon? Gorka? Miller? Sessions?
The nazi-rats have already infested the White House.

  • Dreaming Vertebrate

Gawd-emperor and Grand Wizard Trump: No one has achieved as much as me in so little time and despite the opposition of so many enemies. I am the greatest president of all times. And I mean that with the greatest hu-hu-hu-mility.

  • Ragnar Lothbrok
    • Dreaming Vertebrate

Does it say join the DAWA?

      • Dreaming Vertebrate

OK – finally tracked DAWA down = German-American Economic Committee
Buttons bearing the initials DAWA, which stand for the Deutsch-Amerikanischen Wirtschafts-Ausschuss, will be worn by all persons joining the counter-boycott movement, it was learned. The buttons are decorated with a blue eagle and a picture of the rising sun.

        • Ragnar Lothbrok

          Thanks little dino 🙂

          • Dreaming Vertebrate

DAWA was too parallel to MAGA not to investigate.

          • Gustav2

Many of their leaders rightly ended up in interment camps when the US entered WWII.

    • Dagoril

Shame it wasn’t fire-bombed. Hey, if it was good enough for Dresden…

  • Hue-Man

“Help me out while I hit you.” NYT this a.m.

The American president is trying to enlist Beijing in his struggle with
North Korea even as the White House is set to announce trade crackdown.

  • Gerry Fisher

I think it’s very telling that Trump and his people prefer the word “enemy” to “opponent” or “people who disagree with me.” The use of that word is very pro-violence, pro-conflict, IMO.

    • RoFaWh

      Has he ever spoken truth?

It appears that there is no known occurrence.

      • Pat

He never tells the truth, ever, and his imbecile base believes lies over their own eyes and ears.

Ah yes, the jobs numbers Trump called phony and fake, and stock market he called a “big fat bubble” during Obama’s presidency are suddenly real and credible now they’re good for him.

A hypocrite and a liar and his name is Donald Trump

    • -M-

Taking credit after passing no significant legislation and with no change in the rate of economic growth or hiring since the Obama administration. Also after six months or less, which is also just a strange time to be overtly campaigning even before you consider the tone deaf* timing and message relative to a hate rally and Nazi terrorist attack.

The only thing the tRump has accomplished has been to get a rethuglican established on the Supreme Court – after his “buddy” McConnell held the position open for over a year to keep President Obama from nominating a genuinely good man for the job.
And, again, tRump didn’t do that — McConnell did — so I guess we can say that the tRumpelthinskin hasn’t actually done anything but play a lousy game of golf and tolerate Nazis and KKK everywhere they show their s***-eating grins.

ROD SERLING: Donald Trump. He ran for office and was unable to stop running. Doomed to repeat over and over the mantras from his last campaign, and sucked into his next one while uneasy in his current seat.
