Homocon Drag Queen Claims He’s Been “Black-Balled” From Gigs After Coming Out For Trump [VIDEO]

Raw Story reports:

In yet another fascinating conversation with supporters of President Donald Trump, CNN revealed that his support even among his own voters is slipping quickly. Other ardent supporters, however, are still managing to hang on, loving each of his antics the others disavowed. James Davis, a female impersonator in Florida, said that after coming out as a Trump supporter he was “black-balled” from performing.

  • Jonathan Smith

“Homocon Drag Queen Claims He’s Been “Black-Balled” ” and he loved every min. of it?

  • bkmn

Wanting to be embraced for being an idiot? Priceless.

    • blackstar

  • Hanwi

They are called consequences honey, get used to it 😉

    • S1AMER

Yeah. There’s a price to be paid for embracing the enemy and turning on all your friends and allies. So stop whining, fool, you did this to yourself.

    • liondon#iamnotatraitor

Probably fantasies about playing Caitlyn Jenner in the made for TV Lifetime movie.

      • Adam King

He’s sure as hell not getting cast as Bruce in his prime.

      • Nowhereman

And Caitlyn is working through he bucket list. I hear she’s thinking about running for the Senate now. Entertainers seem to think that the world is THEIR oyster. I mean, why work your way up from local school board and city councils? Just run for the effing senate–or even president? How hard can it be, right?

    • ElenorRigby

That’s that “Free Market” Republicans like so much…. Cake makers shouldn’t have to make cakes for gay people… “Whites only” restaurants… why should a gay club be forced to book a drag queen that nobody wants to pay to see?

  • Harveyrabbit

Someone should ask those (or any) tRump supporters if they’d have homocon drag queen over for dinner some time soon.

    • Jonathan Smith

      don’t be silly.

  • Kelly Lape

“Blackballed” – No. Event organizers just understand their clientele will not pay to see a fucking asshole. A fine ass… sure, but a fucking Trump supporting Asshole… Nope.

    • Kruhn

You know, I was wondering, how do club owners know the drag queen is a Trumpetista. The only way would be for her to include it in her act heckling her mostly liberal patrons or getting into political fights with other performers. That is not being blackballed, that’s making an ass of yourself.

  • Jonathan Smith
  • Gerry Fisher

Given the freedom of association guaranteed by the first amendment, we choose not to be associated with you, Homocon.

  • Butch

I’m so tired of these expeditions to the heartland in search of the real Trump voters. They’re the minority, remember? How ’bout the rest of us?

  • BobSF_94117

If that shirt/tie combination is any indication of his on-stage fashion choices…

    • Bad Tom

He’s really been blackballed by the Fashion Police.

  • another FL man proves why daily i thank my family for selling our condo there and using it to fund properties in slightly to greatly more sane states. i’ll never go back there.

    • Todd20036

My mother lives in Florida, and when I get my inheritance, that house will be part of it.
      Selling it.

      • But I like Florida. 🙁

        • FAEN

Enjoy it before it’s swallowed by the ocean.

          • Librarykid

a fitting fate for all of the climate change deniers there.

        • Librarykid

Florida is fine. It’s the crazy Republicans voting and running the place that make it a garden of evil.

      • Adam King

I hope it’s still worth something when it’s below sea level.

        • Dubito et cogitare

Like many of its residents’ IQs.

      • Hopefully you can sell it while it’s still above sea level.

        • dagobarbz, fine Italian shoes

I was thinking about that last night. Since we’re unsure about the Florida coastline, it seems that property owners would like to “wait and see,” but there’s a point at which ain’t nobody gonna buy your condo on the beach because the water is lapping at your front porch.

When does an owner pull the trigger? Quite a conundrum. Glad I don’t have it.

          • pluky

it ain’t just the beach front. salt water incursion is going to wreck havoc with groundwater supplies long before the rest of the peninsula gets converted to an archipelago.

          • dagobarbz, fine Italian shoes

Isn’t the state built on prehistoric coral reefs? You can build all the walls you want; the Atlantic will keep on seeping, because the “land” is porous.

          • pluky

yep. also see “sinkholes” as the salt water deteriorates the substrata.

          • By the time you can “see” it will be too late to sell. I’d sell now. Maybe I’d miss out on some money if prices keep going up but that “see” moment could be any time and I’d rather cash out now and not take the risk.

My parent sold their house because on one side of them was an “interest only” mortgage and on the other side was a 50 year mortgage. They sold while they could still get a good price, the housing market crashed while they rented and then they bought a condo at the bottom of the market. If you’re asking when would be a good time to sell because the bubble is likely to burst soon, it’s probably time to sell.

  • Rex

Trump supporters don’t want to admit voting for Trump was a mistake, they’re afraid of what people will think of them. But, go ahead and admit you made a mistake, it’s not like there’s anyway we can think less of you.

    • Todd20036

I already think lowly of them. The only reason they think they made a mistake is because of the treason and the lying about his health care.

They have no regrets about his bigotry.

      • Skeptical_Inquirer

True, the only reason some of the dummies are finally getting a clue is because Trump is finally attacking their wallet.

    • Mark McGovern

I think you are spot on. No one likes to admit they were played for a sucker.

    • We’d think more of them if they admitted they were wrong. Not much more, but more.

  • Karl Dubhe

I’m torn, I would like to see the homocon’s act.

On the other hand I can understand the management not wanting to have to pay people to clean up all of the rotten veggies and eggs that would be thrown at the homocon.

    • Todd20036

There are plenty of drag performers who aren’t voting for someone who’d instate “reeducation” camps for us lowly faggots.

      • Karl Dubhe

Yep. I didn’t say I’d like to pay for his act, I’d just like to see him be pelted with tomatoes. Very squishy tomatoes.

  • paganguy

Are they sure he said “black” balled and not “blue” balled?

    • Todd20036

      More like “collagen balled”.
      Check out his lips.

    • Yalma Cuder-Zicci

Agreed, but the ones who still support Trump reveal themselves to be just as dumb as suspected. The man in the red shirt claimed Trump was coming through on the things he promised in his campaign, and when pressed couldn’t think of a single one. The veteran who claims to now be getting wonderful health care through the VA just by the mere presence of a caring Trump? Isn’t that magical thinking? And all the drag performer did was whine.

      • Dom Saunders

The man in the red shirt claimed Trump was coming through on the things he promised in his campaign, and when pressed couldn’t think of a single one.

Literally every time Trump supporters have been interviewed on TV, this was the case. But we don’t exactly need to keep seeing them flop on-screen to know that these voters are low-information, inept, and out of their depth when it comes to political or social issues. Basically, we don’t need to keep being reminded how stupid they are. That isn’t news.

        • Nowhereman

I agree. Just make a mix tape and run it once in awhile as a reminder.

      • boatboy_srq

He’s confused because Lord Dampnut promised every voter what s/he wanted to hear, and then immediately promised something contrary to the next voter. No consistency, no integrity, not even a blink between contrary statements. Keeping track of Lord Dampnut’s multiple contradictory campaign promises is more difficult than believing six impossible things before breakfast.

Yeah, so? You’re pro-Trump. Do Trump rallies.

    Mean it.

  • james1200

A Homocon drag queen? My, things are changing. Of course, left-wingers fight for these changes while the Homocons hide, then when it’s safe to come out, thanks to the work of Progressives, the Homocons come out to shit on everything that Progressives gave them by aligning with those who hate them. Life is weird.

    • james1200

btw, is this the same bitch from The Real Housewives of Miami? ’cause she’s had so much surgery that I can’t tell.

      • friendlynerd

Surprise, she’s serving Fox Host Realness.

    • Skeptical_Inquirer

That is called being a free rider, like everybody else pays the fare which pays for the bus then the guy hopping on without paying wonders why everybody gives him a dirty look.

    • Chris Baker

Gays fought, were beaten, risked their jobs and families, were even killed fighting for rights. And the Republican party still won’t even acknowledge that gays should have any rights. So the idea of a gay person voting for a Republican is appalling, the idea that they would even say–with a straight face–that Republicans are good for gays, is laughable. And the idea that anyone would be proud to support Trump is offensive.

      • If it were 1977 and not 2017 I might see the point of trying to move the GOP towards gay rights. But the Republican party is run by the religious right. That’s the base of the party and other than a few Republicans in swing states (Collins, Portman) we aren’t going to get ANY support from them, even if they are personally disgusted by their party’s views on lbgt issues because they are more afraid of a primary challenge from the right than from a Democrat in their gerrymandered district. Gay Republicans have lost. You can tell they’ve lost because they don’t even bother speaking out for gay rights any more. It’s just liberal-bashing 24/7 from that crowd. They know they aren’t going to move the GOP on gay issues and aren’t even wasting the effort to try. How pathetic do you have to be to stay in a group that hates you?

      • Dom Saunders

It’s literally biting the hand that feeds you. And yet they whine about how they don’t get respect. They’re pathetic.

      • Chris Gardner

It’s kind of like Jews for Hitler.

  • bambinoitaliano

Homocon or RWNJ pronoun do not extend beyond I, Myself and Me. That’s the world they live in. It only matters if things happen within their confine world. Everyone else can just fuck off.

  • Treant

I couldn’t possibly give a shit. You wear your politics on your sleeve, you can expect that to have consequences. Nobody says you’re immune to those, since I’m sure you’re also a complete ass in person, Mr. Davis.

  • FAEN

Always ashamed and disgusted when someone from our community favors a party whose main purpose is to discriminate against the poor and minorities.

How can you not see you’re supporting a party that wants to take every right you have away. Every. Fucking. Right.

    • Snarkaholic

Because they think that their money/connections will exempt them from the atrocities to follow.

      • FAEN

It’s astonishing to me how empty headed they are. One only needs to reason the anti LGBT plank in the GOP platform to know where they stand.

What also makes my blood boil as always is this betch loves all the rights liberal LGBT’s have fought for and takes full advantage of them I bet.

      • Nowhereman

Exactly. I mean, the leopards won’t eat THEIR faces off, right?

    • The_Wretched

They always think the bad things will happen to someone else and they love the idea of the people they have been told to hate getting shafted. They also have this massive blind spout about being in that hated group.

      • Adam King

And the “someone else” the bad things will happen to? Black people, Hispanic people, Muslim people. Racism is the main motivator by far for these deplorables.

        • CJAS

      • There’s a semi-autobiographical movie by Franco Zeffirelli called Tea with Mussolini that I wish more people had scene. (Gays: it has a cat fight between Cher and Maggie Smith. That ought to be enough to get you to find it on a streaming service!) Smith plays a widow whose husband was a British diplomat who is living in Italy in the late 1930s (along with a number of other British ex=pats who are raising the young Franco (fictionalized but just barely). She thinks that her connections to Mussolini will protect her and her friends if Italy and England go to war. No spoilers cut you can imagine how this is going to play out. It always plays out like that.

        • Ginger Snap

Yes it was a great movie I saw it with my mother.

        • juanjo54

One of my favorite movies and the interaction between Cher and Dame Smith is priceless. And you are correct in your observation.

    • CJAS

They do see it. It’s just more important to them to feel superior to minorities.

      • FAEN

        Christ that’s even worse.

      • Jenifer Lewis

Yep. It’s the same mentality that got poor white Southerners to support the Confederacy. They didn’t own slaves themselves, but they appreciated not being on the “bottom of the heap,” so to speak.

  • Lazycrockett

    Boo Hoo.

  • No one is required to hire a particular independent contractor, which most performers are. Not getting booked? No one is under any obligation to hire you.

Plus, an embarrassing number of gay bars are owned by right wing Trump supporters. Go hit them up. Then we can skip your show and their bars.

  • Ragnar Lothbrok
  • matthewrettenmund

Yeah, a drag queen in a Trump discussion. “Oh, guys, I TOTALLY agree with you!” “Shut up, he-she.” I mean, how do you agree with and support the people who are virulently anti-trans, anti-gay? Not to mention how can you be gay and be racist? I’m well aware there is intersectionality of good and bad stuff, but it’s mind-boggling to me that this guy would be so utterly shut off from what “I support Trump” really means.

    • FAEN

      Self loathing is sad.

      • Reality.Bites

        But understandable in this case

  • Rebecca Gardner

Sorry Quisling but freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences. You are supporting a man who is insane, is destroying this country, and who has now admitted to treason and he thinks it’s no big deal. Sorry sunshine but people are going to think you’re an asshole and not want to hire you.

In other news, I think it’s time to quit Twitter.

    • Daveed_WOW

      She had it comin’

  • dcurlee

They need to prove to me how Trump had any impact on their statements. I call bs this man has done nothing since in office except cost taxpayers millions improving his golf game and making money off of it.

    • FAEN

And don’t you love how the Obama economy and Obama stock market are suddenly so in fashion now? Before all the numbers were fake news. What a bunch of hypocrites.

I wish they would come out and own their racism already.

  • 2patricius2

Drag queens protected us. Drag queens rioted at Stonewall, Drag queens went to jail, Drag queens raised money when PLA’s needed services and help. Drag queens fought for freedom and against those who attacked us. Drag queens are heroes. This guy is not a drag queen. He is a female impersonator.

Perhaps he isn’t getting booked because he sucks at performing. Old hats go out of style, and Vaudeville’s been over for a while now.

  • DisqusD37

    I got nothing.

    • customartist

  • Jerry Kott

So says the Male impersonator. Go perform for the Enemy of full Equality.

  • Todd

I love how he tries to blame Obama for Tump’s collusion with Putin. The lack of logic thinking that the person who didn’t stop the crime is more at fault than the criminal is staggering. Then again, looking at and listening to James it’s obvious that there’s not much happening behind his eyes.

    • customartist

Remember, these are the sorts who refuse to acknowledge that Clinton left Bush a surplus,…mm so…

  • M Jackson

Yes. I will never see your sorry ass perform and that is based solely on the fact that you support donald trump.
    That way, felicia.

I’m a radical liberal from way back. I also tend to be a little heavy-footed when I drive my car. For that reason, I have no bumper stickers, decals, or other things on my car that announce my political persuasions. Why provoke the cop with a “Black Lives Matter” meme?

I love the idea of freedom of speech. But if you absolutely MUST wear you politics or religion on your sleeve, you should be prepared to deal with the consequences in some other way besides “boo-hoo-hoo, poor me”. Man up!

    • Johnny Wyeknot

Slow down. Speed kills. And get off my lawn! 🙂

    • TJay229

Because BLACK LIVES Matter is a truth. If that doesn’t apply to your melanin challenged lifestyle fine, but it is very real to others.

  • kareemachan

Honey, no one said that you have a God-given right to be hired for whatever even after you come out for drumpster.

Again, another sensitive snowflake story. Boo-effing-hoo.

  • Gil

    May I quote Trump here ? ” Sad “

  • thatotherjean

Is it possible, Mr. Davis, that prospective employers just don’t like you? Coming out as a Trump-supporting female impersonator probably didn’t help, though. I doubt that the people who would hire you would be too keen on Trump, and the Trump supporters have very little call for your services.

  • customartist

There is no Constitutional protection against discrimination on the basis of Political Affiliation. It’s a choice.

  • I have no respect for anyone who supports Trump. If I were going to go to a drag show I’d go see Varla or someone who is actually talented and entertaining and not some racist moron like this. When your audience is mostly liberal, you don’t come out for a right-winger. The opposite is also true. Remember the Dixie Chicks? Rule 1: Don’t bite the hand that feeds you.

    • varla Jean Merman. I saw her recently in Kenner, LA. She’s freaking hilarious!

      • I knew Jeff before the Varla character happened. He’s incredibly smart and very funny. And unlike most drag performers, he does all his own singing. (I’m not a fan of lip-syncing. If you’re going to lip-sync you’d better be doing the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen at the same time.)

I’m not even touching this queen, but as for “In yet another fascinating conversation with supporters of President Donald Trump…,” amen! I’ve seen one, ONE, segment with HRC voters—and it came this year!

His shit-heads are on tv 24/7.

    • Tread

They also had Obama-haters on 24/7 if I remember correctly.

  • Curtis Jensen

ugh. Why would anyone feel good about watching a queen they know is actively supporting an administration that is working actively to limit and diminish our equality? You have every right to be as delusional as you want and support any candidate you want, but audiences and club owners and bookers don’t have any obligation to put you on their stages or cheer for you. You’re a collaborationist.

  • gaymex1

She should be so lucky as to be black balled.

  • DaveMiller135

I don’t know that intelligence is a quality prized in drag queens, but maybe people learned that you supported Trump and thus were stupid and self-destructive. And maybe they decided that was all of that noise that they needed in their lives.

    • TJay229

  • Dom Saunders

Look at all of them. Sitting comfy like a bland, boring, mediocre loaf of Wonderbread:

Also, I’m supposed to care about his being black-balled…because…?

  • theonlyseven

    “…a female impersonator in Florida…”
And that, my friends, tells us pretty much everything we need to know.

  • barrykyle415

    1. He wouldn’t be the first I black-balled or the last.
    2. All these interviews with people still enchanted with Trump: Trump is an objectively horrible person. The amount of stupid it takes to conclude that he (i) cares about your problems, and (ii) would be effective in addressing them is too large to overcome. So in short, these stories boiled down to “Stupid people remain stupid.” That’s not terribly revelatory, in my opinion.

    • boatboy_srq

OTOH, it is good to learn who’s as mean, cheap, self-centred, classless and otherwise revolting as Lord Dampnut. I’m watching, taking notes and screenshots in case I ever run into any of these idjits.

    • Tread

Why are they not interviewing people who dislike Trump? They seemed to love having people on who hated Obama.

  • Chris Gardner

Good. LGBT folks who support anti-gay Republicans should be shunned from the LGBT community. They should be barred from social groups, clubs, bars, etc… If you support people who want to take away the rights of my LGBT family, then you don’t deserve to be allowed in said family.

    • Tread

Exactly. I’m not going to keep inviting the person who keeps pissing in the punch bowl repeatedly.

  • Tor

I wouldn’t pay good money to go see her. When an act fails to be a financial draw, it gets dropped.

  • Nowhereman

I’m still laughing at the thought of a female impersonator being black balled. What did they use? Shoe polish? Grease paint? But seriously, what in the hell did he think would happen? Most of us knew better than to vote for the Leopards Eating People’s Faces party.

  • txstevo

I remember that tired old queen from when I lived in South Beach. I happened upon his Facebook page through a mutual friend. He was not just a casual Trump supporter. His posts were full-on lunatic Alex Jones pizzagate style rantings.

  • Nic Peterson

Maybe having a well known supporter of Orange Julius is bad for business? I can
imagine that I wouldn’t enjoy a drag number performed by such an artist and attendance numbers might suffer. Odd how a MAGA drag performer can’t wrap her sequins around the fact that the business is more important than she is.

    Yay conservatives complaining about coservatism!

    • Bert_Bauer

Narcissism is the basis for conservatism so I am so not surprised she made it all about her and whining about their revered “free market” working against them. Such a mental disconnect.

  • TheManicMechanic

Oh, honey, you aren’t gonna be black balled. You won’t get any black dock, white dick white balls or anything else until the RNC is in town.

  • Boy Elvis

No shit you’ve been blackballed, fool. Stab me in the back and I sure as hell don’t have yours.

  • Phil2u

Anyone know Mr. Davis’s stage name? I want to find a photo.

Edit: I think I found “her”: is it Elaine Lancaster?

  • motordog

Honey, if you are such a loyal Trump supporter, why not just take gigs from all those OTHER Trump supporters? Surely they’ll appreciate that you’re on their side and be happy to come support you in kind. I do recommend working behind chickenwire though…those beer bottles can hurt if they smack you in the head.

    • Jamie Brewer

Maybe he could organize and perform shows to promote dirty coal/coal miners or The Creation Museum & Ark in the hinterlands of Kentucky and West Virginia. That is true #45 country…

  • Andrew Von Pelt III

good. fucking idiot deserves to be blackballed.

  • Pat

Getting kind of tired of all these panels with Dump voters. Sorry, but not sorry if that vote up and bit you in the ass. You had plenty of warnings, and he showed his true colors before Election Day. I’d like to see panels on people who didn’t vote for this asshole and are suffering because part of the country is irredeemably stupid and gullible.

“Who is she? Who was she? Who does she hope to be?”

  • -M-

If you endorsed George Wallace or Jeff Sessions you might not be invited back to Showtime at the Apollo, Genius.

  • Albert Ross

Drag queen thinks he knows it all. Drag queen is an idiot.

  • juanjo54

Another trump supporting snowflake who misunderstands the concept of free speech. Free speech means the government cannot arbitrarily stop you from speaking out or jail you for doing so. The rest of us can decide whether we agree and disagree and act accordingly. Tolerance means we don’t kill you or beat you so badly you are hospitalized. Treating you the same way most people would treat a turd floating in a punch bowl is not inttolerance, it is us also exercising our right to free speech..

  • Michael Hampton

    No thanks! Thanks though!

  • leastyebejudged

Trump did everyone a massive favor in outing themselves !

These people are all boat anchors. But they vote.

  • Jaxx Page

Who knows what his truth is..sometimes people lose jobs for poor performance and claim gay card..its not like we have our own mafia

  • Cucker “Dick” Tarlson

And this is what you get when you try to save money by having “a little work done” by guy whose day job is grouting tile.

  • William

I suppose she can get work at the concentration camp variety show.

  • Jean-Marc in Canada

Sweets, perhaps you don’t understand basic business logic. See, when the majority of the clubs you perform in contain a majority of people in whom 45 has only disdain and contempt for, it becomes difficult for the owners of said club to book someone who actively supports such a person and party. It’s called supply and demand…there’s an ample supply of Drag Queens, but little demand for babbling bitchy bimbo Queens who support anti-gay politicians. Have you considered Mar-a-Lago, I’m sure 45 would be thrilled to have a new maid to harass.

  • JCF

Drag weather report: good for the queens.

Drag homocon: bad for the queens.

  • MassageBear

    No… I can’t even…

  • gothambear

how many times have we heard this from whiny conservative actors bitching they don’t get work because they’re Republicans? but look at Kelsey Grammar, Patricia Heaton, James (crazy) Woods, Jon Voigt, Fred Thompson, and even Miss Pat Sajak etc. who all had very successful careers (and multiple series) because maybe they had, well, talent…or slept their way to the top…whatever. They got hired.

  • Blobby

Oh hon – good for you for speaking out about your political affiliation. But know your audience. Of the 3,030,827 drag queens out there, why would I select you to perform at my establishment when 3,030,826 of them aren’t total asshats?

  • TallBearNC

He’s had WAY too much plastic surgery. He looks like a mannequin

  • raebzan

I have zero sympathies for House Homos who vote to harm their own community, then expect flowers and a tiara for the good judgement.
