GLORIOUS LEADER: Trump Forces Cabinet Members And Senior Staffers To Praise Him On Camera [VIDEO]

The New York Daily News reports:

All hail President Trump — says Trump. The President of the United States on Monday made everyone at a meeting of cabinet members and senior staff go around the table and praise him on camera — a self -indulgence that drew immediate mockery on social media and from Chuck Schumer.

At the White House meeting, which was shown live on some news networks, Trump had everybody go one-by-one to rattle off accomplishments from his administration — or just say some nice words about the President. Some praise was much more lavish than others.

“On behalf of the entire senior staff around you, Mr. President, we thank you for the opportunity and the blessing that you’ve given us to serve your agenda and the American people,” Chief of Staff Reince Priebus — whose days in the White House might be numbered — said when it was his turn.

        Osculum infame

Osculum infame is the name of a witch’s supposed ritual greeting upon meeting with the Devil. The name means The Shameful Kiss, or The Kiss of Shame since it involved kissing the devil’s anus, his other mouth. According to folklore, it was this kiss that allowed the Devil to seduce women.

Penguin has car trouble and takes it to a garage. The mechanic says he’ll need a little time to find out what’s wrong and to give the penguin an estimate. He gives the penguin a pager so he’ll know when to come back. The penguin knows he has a little time, so he goes to an ice cream shop for a double scoop of vanilla ice cream. The pager goes off while he’s still eating, so he takes the cone with him and finishes it just as he enters the garage.
The mechanic starts out with, “Looks like you blew a seal.”
“No, it’s ice cream,” the penguin replies.

    Narcissist!!!!!!!

    • narutomania

I think that we need to come up with a new term, because “narcissist” just doesn’t quite manage to capture the entirety of the colossus that Drumpf’s ego has become and the unfathomable depths to which he has fallen in love with it.

I mean, even in the old Green myth, Narcissus just sat and stared longingly at himself because he was so beautiful and couldn’t help himself. Perhaps he even engaged in a little self-gratification. I mean, who hasn’t? (giggle)

But Drumpf … now there’s a whole new kind of Self-adoration. It is truly the creepiest example of creepiness that I’ve ever witnessed.

      • This is when narcissism turns pathological and appears on the verge of — if not already crossing — the line into full-on psychotic break.

        • Tor

When that happens, will anyone do anything about it?

          • zhera

Yeah, but Macron isn’t exactly left wing, either.

          • ChrisMorley

Jean-Luc Mélenchon’s hard-left movement, France Unbowed, is projected to win between 11 and 23 seats – potentially enough to form a parliamentary group – but it is
not big enough to claim to be the main opposition force against Macron as it had intended. Mélenchon himself will go through to a second round runoff in a Marseille constituency, where the Socialist candidate was eliminated in the first round. Mélenchon said abstention had been high
among young voters, calling them to turn out in the final round to stop Macron having “full power”.

Macron’s opponents blamed him for the low turnout, but polling indicated that abstention was highest among Le Pen and Mélenchon voters. Young and working-class voters abstained in high numbers. In Guadaloupe, abstention reached 76%. It was also high in poor areas of mainland France, including the northern Paris suburbs, parts of Marseille, and parts of the de-industrialised north-east.

I mean, a lot of those pasty white dudes gotta have bum knees and Donald’s long been impotent due to Propecia overdosing.

    • Seriously though: This really is the behavior of a psychotic narcissist, the ever escalating demands for praise and compliments…because inside, he’s got nothing. He’s empty. Every goddamned day, he needs affirmation that he’s not a complete failure in everything he’s ever touched, that he’s smart and educated and knows more than literally anybody.

When he looks into a mirror, he sees nothing. He requires other people to tell them they see not a man, but basically a god. But it doesn’t last, and within hours he needs another fix.

The downside for all of this is unless Pence really does go for a “palace coup,” we can pretty much forget about the 25th Amendment. Donald picked his sycophants well.

      • The Milkman
      • Treant

Time and time again, that which has visibly upset him the most are when he’s been shown, graphically, he’s not liked, not popular, and loathed by millions.

What’s the correct boudoir phraseology for when a whole buncha people all line up and take turns goin’ down on just one dude?

And is there a collective description as well… as in a gaggle of geese/ pride of lions/sprinkling of Russian hookers, etc?

        • Phillip in L.A.

Doesn’t exactly fit the situation you described, but sometimes known as “pulling a train” (i.e., a gang-bang). There is no phraseology for what you described, since no one ever ‘lines up and takes turns goin’ down on just one dude.’ If you think about it, you will discover why.

Do you mean, is there a collective name for a line of people waiting to give the same guy a blow-job? No. “Sloppy seconds” is about the closest, but that usually applies to intercourse, and not fellatio. “Serial fellators”? Accurate, but sounds too clinical.

Regarding one such, Field Marshal Keitel, the historians add these:

Hitler did not reply to this suggestion, but asked who would be suitable to direct the Armed Forces staff under himself. Blomberg had no idea. Hitler then asked who was in charge of Blomberg’s staff. Keitel, Blomberg answered, but there was no question of using him, because “he’s nothing but the man who runs my office.”

“That’s exactly the man I am looking for!” Hitler exclaimed. He set up an appointment with Keitel for that very afternoon.

          And:

There was a disagreement around Hitler’s map table and Keitel got wind of it, he was in the same room at the back, but somehow he got wind of it and I heard him say, without knowing what the issue was: “You’re quite right, My Führer.” I can hear him now.

It’s just as treacly and fawning as you’d expect. A truly putrid display. And then there’s dumb-ass 45* not being able to find the Veep who’s sitting right across the table from him….

      • David Walker

This is from Barbara Cook’s memoir on singing for the Reagans. The Veep bit reminded me:
…performing at the White House is a thrill, no matter what your political affiliations. … It was singing for the Reagans in April of 1988 that remains most firmly etched in my mind …because of the sad evidence of the president’s diminished capacity. The Reagans hosted a rather small (for them) dinner party for the king and queen of Sweden upstairs in their private dining room, and Nancy asked me to come to dinner and then sing for the royals. … The Reagans rarely invited people to their private quarters. … There were only about thirty people at four tables. Nancy was sitting next to the king at one table, while at the table directly across, the queen sat next to President Reagan.
This was during the time when Nancy would often be seen whispering to the president and looking as if she were telling him what to do. Well, as it turns out, she was. At the end of the dinner, President Reagan got up to make a toast and began, “If Nancy were here I know she’d want me to say…” And there she was, only a few feet away…directly across from the president. I was startled, to say the least. We were then to move into another room, where I would sing. Reagan announced the wrong room, and Nancy gently corrected him, again. Finally, I sang several songs, but before I finished, the president got up to thank me mid-performance, and Nancy said, “Sit down, dear – the lady hasn’t finished.” “Oh, my God!” I thought. “All this can’t be happening. He’s the president.”

Truly, Trump is doing the most incredible–literally unbelievable–job as President of the United States of America. From humble beginnings, this man arose to command a certain segment of America that hasn’t been heard from seriously since the Civil War, and reignited their passion for their own peculiar brand of justice and legislation. In his first few months as President, he’s been challenged in court more often than any other one has, due to his unique concept of what governance means, but his greatest accomplishments has been in uniting a lefward-moving Europe in a single bloc to stand firm against her enemies.

      • Karl Dubhe

Former Canadian PM Harper was related to a train robber, who was hanged in 1889. This is what his publicist wrote.

“Remus Rudd was famous in Ontario during the mid to late 1800s. His business empire
grew to include acquisition of valuable equestrian assets and intimate dealings with the CP and CN Railways. Beginning in 1883, he devoted several years of his life to government service, finally taking leave to resume his dealings with the railroads.

In 1887, he was a key player in a vital investigation run by the Mounted Police Force. In 1889, Remus passed away during an important civic function held in his honour when the platform upon which he was standing collapsed.”

    Humiliate yourselves, you grovelling SHITS!!

Since WHEN is LOOTING the country and plotting to condemn TENS of THOUSANDS to premature DEATH every year SERVING the NATION?!

If these CRIMES happen and go UNPUNISHED, if this republic does NOTHING about deliberate OBSTRUCTION of JUSTICE and succumbs to FASCISM, I will HATE this nation and ALL who aid and abet its DESTROYERS–yes, fucking HATE IT–without apology–for its stupidity and inexcusable, callous DEPRAVITY–for the REST of my LIFE!!

There is NO EXCUSE–NONE–for letting these goddamned, shameless GANGSTERS destroy this country right in front of our eyes, when we can SEE the CRIMES they’re committing as they place themselves ABOVE the LAW!!

Their contempt for the RULE OF LAW, for the TRUTH, for simple human DECENCY, renders their governance wholly ILLEGITIMATE!!

Even IF the legitimacy of the election were NOT in doubt–and it IS in doubt–NOTHING can justify their pathological LYING, the GRAFT, their callous CRUELTY, their CONTEMPT for the tenets of genuine democracy, for our CONSTITUTION–NOTHING!!

    They are UNFIT!!

Anyone who can’t see that is a FOOL!!

Anyone who continues to PRETEND otherwise is a LIAR and a TRAITOR!!

To submit to being governed by these base HOODLUMS means absolute IGNOMINY!!

Oh, dear. If Trump actually wanted him for anything, now I’m not happy with him as special counsel…

      • SoCalGal20

Notice that he didn’t take whatever Trump was offering, if it ever got that far and if Trump is even telling the truth. He could just be talking bullshit. Bob Mueller is apparently very highly regarded and it sounds like he’s putting together stellar team of investigators and prosecutors.

        • Bad Tom

He worked in Boston. His reputation here, as a registered Republican in a very liberal town, is stellar.

If he was investigating me, I would trust him. (If I didn’t do it.)

If I had done it, I would be scared shitless. As we see in the WH now.

Didn’t work out well for Nixon.

      • Bad Tom

It certainly did not. It will work equally well for Trump.

    • Natty Enquirer

Can he do that? The Special Counsel is appointed by the Attorney General or the Acting Attorney General.

      • safari

It all falls within the domain of the DOJ, which is under control of the unitary executive.

        • coram nobis

You mean the urinary executive. And, yes, he can. Dick Nixon tried it, although he had to make the acting Attorney General fire Archibald Cox, after the actual AG and deputy both balked.

          • Natty Enquirer

Actually it was the Solicitor General, as I recall. Anyway, if Trump/Nixon has this power, why not fire the Counsel directly?

          • coram nobis

Robert Bork was the one left to do the deed after Nixon sacked Richardson and Ruckelshaus. He was Solicitor General but became acting AG after his superiors at DOJ got axed. I suppose the Prez can do the deed, but I know of no leader since Peter the Great to personally swing an ax rather than delegating the job.

          • Phillip in L.A.

And we know how Judge Bork ended up

          • Natty Enquirer

If there’s anyone to revive the Tsarist tradition, it’s “Mr. Apprentice.”

      • Bad Tom

        He can.
        Would it be smart?
No, it would not be smart.

        • ByronK

That almost guarantees he will do it.

          • Bad Tom

I agree. But sometimes Trump has surprised me. Not often, mind you.

      • billbear1961

The POTUS can order the acting AG to fire him. If Rosenstein refuses, Trump could fire HIM and find someone to replace him who WOULD fire Mueller.

Nixon had to fire an AG and the AG’s deputy before he found someone at the DOJ who was willing to fire the Special Prosecutor.

It was the Saturday Night Massacre, a GROSS obstruction of justice, which with the smoking-gun tape, cost Nixon his presidency.

        • Bad Tom

          Layers of cover-up add up.
Bill Clinton got hung up over a blow-job.
          Trump flirts with treason.
This will not end well for him.

          • billbear1961

It will not end well for him, Tom, IF this Republic has TRUE defenders, and the Rule of Law is MAINTAINED.

          • Bad Tom

There are True Defenders, working behind the scenes. I see the evidence every day. Fear not, Gentle Bear. I believe the Dawn will come.

            I really do.

    • billbear1961

When he fired Comey, I knew the coup had kicked into high gear.

If he orders MUELLER fired, and Rosenstein or whoever replaces a fired Rosenstein obeys him and carries out the termination, we must rebel against his goddamned COUP–we MUST, or this Republic is FINISHED!!

We are on the verge of the biggest constitutional CRISIS this nation has known since its CIVIL WAR!!

WE MUST NOT SUBMIT TO THAT EVIL, DEMENTED BASTARD’S TYRANNY!!

Those fascist BASTARDS are NOT going to DESTROY this REPUBLIC!!

      • LOL And with what guns are you planning to rebel with? Aren’t you not the gays against guns? LOL I swear you guys have become my guilty pleasure. Your nonsense makes me laugh myself to tears.

        • MikeBx2

What’s funny and nonsensical is that you think gays are against guns.

          • Most of you are for gun control. Own your truth 😂

          • Bad Tom

Gun control doesn’t mean no guns.
            Own your own lies.

          • Show me your guns…
You know full well what gun control entails and it would most definitely have limited people access to the type of weapons that would threaten a Tyrant Government.

          • Bad Tom

One of my best friends is an NRA gun safety instructor instructor.* HE AGREES WITH ME ON GUN CONTROL.

Before the NRA was taken over by the gun manufacturers lobby, the NRA itself was for sensible gun control laws. Why is that so hard to understand?

When I’ve gone shooting, either my friends have lent me a piece, or I’ve rented one at a range. Given my lack of practice, I’m a fairly decent shot. I suck at skeet shooting, however.

Guns aren’t my thing. For loud sports, I prefer wailing around a racetrack on a motorcycle. IMO, the most fun you can have with your pants on.
            ——-
            * Yes, he teaches NRA gun safety instructors.

          • So you are literally of no use to Billy Bear’s rebellion lol.

          • Bad Tom

            None whatsoever.

I just write AI software that can defend, or attack, computer networks. What use is that?

A fun throw-away feature I’m working on is automatic identification of trolls. I will be scraping the web for training samples. Yours will be good.

          • Karl Dubhe

How can you get good out of a rather bad troll?

He’s rather young, I think. I’m not sure he’s learnt how to masturbate properly.

          • Bad Tom

The AI will classify him as Troll, Lame.

Then it can autoban him. I hope to interest Disqus in this feature. Seriously.

          • Bad Tom

The AI will also classify Spam.

Autobanning that might get very popular.

          • Karl Dubhe

I’m still laughing at the ammosexual who confuses a firearm with a gun. 😀

          • Whatever you build, we will break. Software knows no allegiance. One would think you’d know this by now.

          • Bad Tom

Dude. You show no evidence of skilz.

          • I don’t have to.

          • Bad Tom
          • Haha that’d be me at your “AI/ML” expertise.

          • Bad Tom

Yeah. You must be all over scikit-learn, Theano, and Keras then, amirite? You must be aware that the latest versions of scikit and Theano are GPU enabled. *

Are you a solid Bayesian, or do you think other linear classifiers can play a part?

Personally, I think other classifiers are vital. Ensemble classifiers are known to boost recognition by 3 to 5 percentage points. This is sufficient, I believe, to make their use decisive, which is why they are included in my AIs.

Stay away from Perceptrons, though. Any errors in sample classification really harm recognition performance, even after tens of thousands of correct training samples have been consumed.

How many patents are you applying for this year? I’m applying for four.
            ——-
            * Why is this important?

          • Homo Erectus

            I think I love you!

          • Personally, I’m more a fan of R than Python for ML. And more a fan of math (multivariable calculus, numerical analysis, etc), than a particular kit or framework. Parallelism can only get so far. Your application must make economical sense in order to scale. I just don’t see the value in classifying “trolls”. Furthermore, the very nature of your application makes it vulnerable to more targeted opposing applications. It’d be easier for me to clone myself than for you to detect all activity by my clone army.

          • Bad Tom

The industry disagrees. How did Big Blue defeat Kasparov? Parallelism.

Cloning yourself makes an army of easily identified clones. Pfft.
            ——-
You have no idea of the nature of my application. I have not revealed it.

          • I said parallelism is only part of the equation, that is if you plan to run a sustainable application.

As for the clones, I wouldn’t clone myself, I’d clone my ideology.

          • Bad Tom

If you create an actual application, you must use some set of frameworks. Or else you never did.

If you never did, you are a poseur.
            ——-
            R is great for one-offs.

          • Bad Tom

I was super delux delighted when I discovered that the latest kits for PostgreSQL have a module which supports GPU use for DB queries. Because SCALING! Amirite?

          • Bad Tom

NoSQL DBs have serious limitations when it comes to structured queries. They are great for web shops where consistency doesn’t fucking matter. Have you ever tried to make MapReduce run fast?

          • Webshops, really? I’m sure that’s Cassandra, Bigtable, LevelDB, RockDB’s intended use *cries* FYI Mapreduce was originally designed to run on Bigtable.

          • ByronK

“we will break…” We who? And of course software knows no allegiance asswipe.

          • ByronK

Why do you hate America and democracy?

          • I HATE hypocritical idiots (sheep really) who weren’t critical of unprecedented government abuse while “their” guy was the President.

          • Bad Tom

The Obama Presidency had the fewest scandals of any Administration since Eisenhower.

          • Homo Erectus

But President Obama used Dijon Mustard fer chrissakes.

          • Homo Erectus

            Lock him up!

          • I said abuse, not scandal. Obama’s implementation and expansion of Mass Surveillance is unprecedented abuse of power by a President. Unlike Trump, Obama wasn’t scandalous, he was a sneaky abuser of his position of power.

          • Bad Tom

The joyous splitting of hairs! Not scandals, but abuse!

You are such a fucking trip. The only problem I have is that you haven’t written nearly enough comments to provide a decent training sample.

Remember, I need to split the given sample in two, one half for training, the second half to determine how training went.*

Can you up your game by x10? That would be most helpful. It’s not like you have something else to do.
            ——-
            * I promise to post the confusion matrix.

          • Do I sense frustration? 😜

          • Bad Tom

            No. You sense amusement.

          • 😉

          • ByronK

Please, do detail this “massive abuse” that people failed to protest against. And don’t you dare even think the word hypocrisy while you support a party that pursued eight years of obstruction at any cost, putting power and vindictiveness over the best interests of the country, and now whine like little bitches that they are being obstructed when they control both houses!! The same party that either participated directly in or condoned an infectious swell of racism against the President and then had the gall to turn around and blame the same President for increased racial tension. This is a party that ran on a platform of transparency and honesty and is now mired in a cesspool of lies, broken promises, and accusations of obstruction, corruption, collusion and possible treason. Hypocrisy? Fuck off.

          • Where to begin? Or not to? We think so radically different that we will never understand each other. To me, Mass Surveillance as implemented and expanded by Obama is more grave and damaging than anything Trump has ever done. Obama was/is the sneaky doer, while Trump is just a charlatan. Most of you have not given any thought to the consequences of the policies Obama put in place and how those policies have shaped our society. We’re where we are because of the last 8 years, not because of the last 6 months. The people who now oppose you are the people who have seen the abuse and have been discontent for the past several years. You are late to this party.

          • ByronK

I think your problem is that you make far too many assumptions about how people think, or how you believe they think. To make a blanket statement claiming no one has given any thought to the consequences of Obama’s policies is presumptuous and ignorant. The new right is is not a product of this so called abuse of the last administration. It is a product of shifting demographics, a rapidly changing job market and a growing discontent and disenfranchisement being felt by a whole lot of white people who are realizing that they’re not guaranteed a place on the top of the heap anymore solely based on their skin color. You really think that the dramatic rise in hate crimes and racially motivated violence and protests are a reaction against surveillance and globalism? No, it’s the ugly reality of a section of American society that is angry that the world no longer belongs just to them. There is no party so grow up and open your eyes.

          • billbear1961

How does anything Obama EVER did in ANY way even BEGIN to compare to Trump’s relentless, crazy LIES, the GRAFT, his hate-mongering, his calls for violence against his political opponents, his SLANDERS, his deliberate obstruction of justice, his trashing of the judiciary and the free press, his calling on Second Amendment people to assassinate a President Hillary Clinton, his calls on a hostile foreign power to launch a cyber war on his own country, his trashing of NATO allies while praising murderous dictators, his and his people’s suspicious ties to Russia that they are ALL so desperate to HIDE, his refusal to release his TAX RETURNS, his desire to deprive MILLIONS of their healthcare insurance after promising universal coverage, his support for the GOP’s totally secretive and utterly irresponsible “legislating,” his abandonment of the Paris Climate Agreement to the whole world’s DESPAIR??

And THIS list of Trump’s EVILS is nowhere NEAR complete, you HYPOCRITE!!

          • FAEN

What Tohe won’t say outright because he’s a coward like so many on the right, is that they don’t hate Obama for what he did or didn’t do. They hate him for his skin color and his intelligence, for his very existence. We have a word for people like that.

        • perversatile

        • Corrigan

If you believe “the gays” are against guns, you don’t know very many gay people. There are many, many gays who own and operate fire arms. Truth much?

      • kaydenpat

I agree with you. If we let this happen, there’s no going back. Trump is acting as if he is above the law and Constitution.

        • billbear1961

And at the moment he is being aided and abetted by his party’s majorities in Congress.

We must FORCE them, through protests, to comply with the LAW and hold him ACCOUNTABLE.

If they continue to support his coup, they no longer represent legitimate authority in this country, because they are deliberately violating the Constitution, the Rule of Law.

    • Cuberly

“My position is that Mueller is a man of integrity,” Ruddy said. “But we all know in the history of these special investigations they go far and wide, and they go beyond what the original jurisdiction was…”

So basically they’re worried about a potential Ken Starr situation developing?

So where do we go from here if Mueller is canned?

Trump thought firing Comey would be viewed as a positive.

Trump might think firing Mueller will be viewed positively.
Who could be telling him that?

          It won’t be viewed positively.

          • billbear1961

Karl, reality no longer means anything to nearly 40% of the people in this country. FACTS no longer matter to them! The serious news media AND the Democratic party have allowed the GOP’s right-wing propaganda machine to BRAINWASH them for a QUARTER of a CENTURY!!

The reality that WE may now be staring in the face is the OVERTHROW of the Rule of Law by a regime and party of fascist TRAITORS!!

Trump’s coup kicked into high gear the moment he fired Comey.

If he orders Mueller fired and it happens and Trump is not removed from power for GROSS obstruction of justice, it will mean the Rule of Law has been OVERTHROWN unless WE stop them!!

Angels are singing, and a new light shines forth from heaven announcing the annunciation of a new leader, a dear leader, the best leader, the single most important president in American history. Anyone who doubts this is simply un-American and blind to the glorious truth in front of us now.

Mr. President, I would eat your shit right here and now. Yes I would. I would pull those cheeks apart and open my mouth wide as if I were swallowing god whole. I notice there is no stink. In fact, what pours out is a rivulet of gold and it tastes like frosting on the best chocolate cake.

Now, can I take you in my mouth, Mr. President? Yes, all the way to the balls like every Trump supporter, all the way down, all in. Yes, just like that. That’s how I want to be with you, Mr. President. I know no other position. I can aspire to nothing greater, nor can any of us. We are here, mere servants, the humblest of patriots, nearly blinded by your genius, your compassion, your vision for America greater than it’s ever been before.

Also RED ALERT in the Senate. Call your Dem Senators and tell them you want them to do whatever they can to stall the AHCA bill. They’re not wanting to withhold consent. In the end it won’t make a difference but they need to make a stand. Period. They’re apparently getting wish-washy. • UrsusArctos

Stopping in at a District office has an even larger impact. It’s harder to ignore a real person who’s pissed enough to stop in.

  • Another angle to consider is there are a great many junior staffers in the WH who, according to reports, are in “mass hysteria” over the idea Trump might fire — or force the firing — of Special Counsel Robert Mueller. This is why, for example, they’ve already been asking if they need to lawyer up, and Trump’s personal attorney who does not have their best interests in mind said don’t bother yet.

If Trump fires (or arranges to fire) Mueller, there’s not much question the motive is to obstruct the investigation. Well, people will know stuff and those who’ve been around long enough (and who smartly hired lawyers anyway), will realize their best bet is to flip and ask for an immunity deal in exchange for spilling what they know.

The WH already leaks like a broken sieve. We’re going to have dozens of people who know Donald would never use his pardon powers to get them out of trouble.

I believe firing Mueller would be the biggest mistake Donald could make…and he might make it because he lives only in the present. He doesn’t remember the past and the future barely exists for him. If he thinks it’ll help him in the short term, he’ll do it. The only question today is whether he thinks this.

    • Natty Enquirer

What it boils down to is that the Republicans are in charge of how long Trump lasts. They will keep him there until he is more liability than asset. So yeah, Trump can fire Mueller or shoot somebody in the middle of Fifth Avenue and nothing will happen until the Republicans say so.

Get ready for the new attack line from the right when Trump fires Mueller.
And if Guy is concerned about optics, I have a whole list of Republicans who should be called out if that is the case, the latest one being Judge Alice M. Batchelder of the 6th Circuit who is hearing another case involving the Ohio Republican Party, the latest case involving the Republican Party she’s refused to recuse herself from.
That despite the fact her husband was an Ohio Legislator who served for years and was speaker of the State house from 2011-2014.
Where the hell were the folks screaming about optics on that?

How does one switch from Trump to Bernie, when they voted Trump they voted a full on GOP ticket? What other politicos are they going to vote for that sign off on all of Bernie’s demands?

Even what could charitably be called “moderate” GOPers have called Bernie a socialist. The big scarlet S doesn’t play well in the red states, despite what Ms. Saunders says.

      3) He’s filthy from his association with this so it’s not going to be exactly smooth sailing for him either.
      4) Foreign relations might be marginally better.
      5) There’s a huge likelihood he’ll get booted out as well.

I would have been able to, not exactly tolerate, deal with trump if it was just incompetence.

He ratted out an important information source to Russia. He’s not only fucking our country but fucking up other countries’ intelligence as well. He’s getting important information sources killed and he’s liable to stumble us into a war with North Korea involving nukes and weakening Europe.

      • All good points. I am worried about nuclear war too. Trump is unstable. Pence/ Ryan (I think that would be his VP choice since they are such close friends, and Ryan would be next in line as Speaker) would be clear headed. Foreign relations are a holy mess, aren’t they?

The Redeemer – Barack Obama (hope and change)
The False Prophet – Donald Trump (um yeah, this sums him up)
The Anti Christ – Mike Pence (conservative religious zealot)

Interesting how they all fit those description in their own way. I guess each one is supposed to be a harbinger of the next leading to end of the world? I always figured Trump was too dumb but Pence does have the creepy end of days factor down…

I wish we could just skip ahead to Orrin Hatch….

Like many who have come before him, Wilson tried to explain to Trump and his followers why that would be an unbelievable mistake.

“It’s time for the final divorce between the clickservatives and any pretense they believe in the rule of law,” Wilson wrote of the armchair activists. “Let’s just get the f*ck on and this shabby pretense that we still live in a nation of laws. So, clickservatives, Trump fellators, fanboys, grunting MAGA mouthbreathers, sing out now [sic]. I really want to know. Is there anything he can do that strikes your conscience? Is there any sin, any excess, any affront? No? Good. That makes it easy for all of us.”

I see some LGBT people even supporting him… citing that they have low income, poor jobs etc.

My response: go get educated, go to college, improve your live. Stop looking for others to Improve your life

Trump isn’t going to miraculously get you a better job.

Indeed if you stop listening and start watching what he does, Trump is working overtime to reduce the numbers of American jobs.

      • Wow, when will he be bringing his factories home?

Not to mention if the bigots have their way, everything will be made worse.

    • Countries vary on how they empower their citizens, for example, paid apprenticeships, etc.
Not everyone can afford to go to college – although, when I was young, I worked by day and went to night school.

More directly he doesn’t care about improving anyone else’s life and wouldn’t have any idea how to if he did.

Never have the mighty fallen so far. I am feeling sorry for Reince Priebus and I cannot stand Reince Priebus.

All praise our great and illiustrious, admired and respected leader.

  • Dick518

Just plain VILE & DISGUSTING! Good to see his approval rating continue to slip- 36%… Sad!

  • andrew

The proper response to this behavior should be endless laughter and ridicule of the pathetic yes men/women that he has surrounded himself with.

I saw part of that round table ass-kissing scene on the news. Pence started the ball rolling with such a sugary sweet comment about trump that it actually sent shivers up my spine. How can anyone compliment trump with a straight face. Then a few more, including the nutjob Tillerson, went on to glorify trump like he was the new messiah. I threw up a little before I changed the channel. trump sitting there getting his rocks off and smiling from all the praise. What would he have done if someone had the balls to tell him exactly what a majority of this country thinks of him…next day…FIRED!
