Hair Furor Retreats To “Crooked Hillary” Insult, Claims He’ll Unveil Climate Accord Decision In Rose Garden

The Associated Press reports:

President Donald Trump is accusing his former rival Hillary Clinton of blaming everyone but herself for her election loss. Trump revived an old nickname for the Democrat Wednesday, tweeting that, “Crooked Hillary Clinton now blames everybody but herself, refuses to say she was a terrible candidate.” Trump was likely responding to Clinton’s appearance Wednesday at Recode’s Code conference in California, where she discussed the 2016 presidential campaign at length.

And from The Hill:

President Trump will announce his decision on whether the U.S. will remain in the Paris climate change agreement on Thursday at 3 p.m., he tweeted Wednesday. Trump is pulling the U.S. from the climate deal, according to several reports that came out on Wednesday. Axios first reported that Trump is finalizing a strategy for pulling out from the agreement with EPA director Scott Pruitt before making the announcement.

    • if China, India, and Germany pulls it off, it would tell the world the US and Russia are irrelevant now. Which is fine by me. I don’t care if we’re relevant I care that we get rid of these assholes in government

China and India are key, the two largest countries by a factor of four over the third most populous country, the US. Surprisingly China is already at 25% total renewable and India is at 19%. There is a lot of room to improve. The US is at 14% which is pretty sad.

He knows he didn’t. The Russian help him stole the presidency. It’s the reason he is still so insecure about his fake win. His winning rant is Stewart Smalley-esque daily affirmation mantra.

      • Todd20036

Bingo. He knows that he cannot take any credit about winning the election, so he tries to push the memes that he’s an underdog, that Hillary Clinton was crooked/a terrible candidate/corrupted with Benghazi or emails.

Because as shitty a “victory” as that was, it’s the only thing he can even remotely brag about

We aren’t too far away from a congressional recess, and Trump has no legislative victories to show for it.

And remember folks, the House, Senate, and executive branch are all the same party majority.

        • David Walker

And no one will notice him returning the two Russian spy compounds taken as part of President Obama’s retaliation for Russia fucking with the election. Those who will notice will be ignored. I am not happy with the way things are going here.

Not because it’s “news” but because it demonstrates how political ideology can weaken government regulation that protects the health and safety of ordinary people. Once kids have ingested lead, there’s no way to get it out of their system; mothers exposed to lead can even contaminate their newborn!
    (Video is geo-blocked.)
    http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/body/poisoned-water.html

    • safari

And do remember that even before the lead was detected, there were months of complaints about water quality that was belligerently fought by the government.

      • safari

And, only narrowly, people who cannot afford to pay for water they cannot drink that is the most expensive in the nation have been granted a reprieve from having their homes taken if they can’t pay their water bill.

        • Hue-Man

The most horrifying is the interview with a woman who when told she could get a water filter for $25 which would remove 99% of the lead and copper, replied that she had no way of finding that much money on her fixed income.

Even if he didn’t collude with the Russians, he has obstructed the investigation into the claims and obviously attempted to intimidate witnesses.

Beyond the collusion, the dumpster has obviously violated the emoluments clause of the Constitution.

        • Talisman

          Exactly.

        • danolgb

Again, let’s stay in reality. There was no evidence that Russia hacked the voting machines. Their influence was right there in the open spreading misinformation that Bernie was cheated and that the American voting system was flawed. That’s how the Russian’s influenced the election. And that it was so obvious and many of use were calling it out before the election and getting shot down is what really annoys me.

It doesn’t help anyone to spread more misinformation. In fact, it plays directly into what Russia was trying to make people believe.

          • Ross

Yes, there is no proof that Russia hacked the electronic voting machines.

But there is no proof that they didn’t.

            And that is the point.

            NOBODY IS LOOKING INTO THIS.

I continue to be amazed that people are so unwilling to accept this possibility. It seems that people can accept that Russia influenced the election. But outright steal it? Oh no! That can’t be!

          • danolgb

Actually, the intelligence agencies did look into it. It’s in the reports. The Russians effectively hacked the voters not the votes. One of their tactics was to make the voters feel like they shouldn’t even bother voting. They would release emails that had phrases that then their media outlets would spin out of context. Our media, being as inept as they are, just picked up that reporting and didn’t bother to put the emails in context. And look how effective that tactic was. We still get commenters here who believe the falsehood that Bernie was cheated.

The Russians literally want people to distrust our own election systems. Feeding the myth that they hacked the voting machines when they didn’t , does just that. Had they actually hacked the voting machines, the investigations would have been so much easier.
            https://www.forbes.com/sites/haroldstark/2017/01/24/how-russia-hacked-the-election/#41e82604a9fd

          • Ross

You link to a Forbes article. Which states that Russia did not hack the election itself.

How is this proof that they didn’t????????? Because Forbes says so?

As I understand it, verifying that the electronic voting machines were NOT hacked has never happened. If this is true, how can Forbes state they Russia did not hack the machines?

          • danolgb

You’re making the wild claim that that they did with no evidence. Let’s leave making wild claims with no evidence to Trump.

          • Ross

My question is simple and valid:

WHY IS NOBODY CHECKING TO SEE IF THE ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINES WERE HACKED?

Why is this giant elephant in the room being ignored?

          • danolgb

That’s a much different statement than your continual claiming that they were hacked. Making me prove a negative while you spout off a claim with no proof is not fair. But let me try to explain why it matters.
First off, in order to “hack” the machines, it would require a large network of physical people with access to the machines. The machines are not networked. To hack them would require physical access to each machine. This would be extremely detectable and hacking a subset would cause them to stick out like sore thumbs in the numbers.
But why it truly matters is, as I’ve said before, one of the tactics actually employed by the Russians was to make people think that the primary vote was rigged. When in fact it wasn’t. Making people believe their vote doesn’t count is a very effective form of voter suppression and one that was easily employed this last election and has a very lasting effect.
So, it’s important for us to be consistent and to only stick to the facts and not make wild accusations which only prolong the belief that your vote can’t be trusted. That plays exactly into the Russian tactics and was even used by Trump himself when he claimed he only lost the popular count by election fraud.

            http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2016/dec/17/fact-checking-claims-voter-fraud-2016/

Really important in this article was before the election was the belief that only 43% believed that their vote would be properly accounted. This was exactly what the Russian meddling was trying to achieve.

          • Ross

            You wrote:

Trump “won” by a piddling 70K votes. So, a large network was not required to achieve this aim.

And sore thumbs? Researchers at MIT (I believe) actually noticed this right away after 11/8. And the sore thumbs correlated to areas with electronic machines.

          • danolgb

Fine. Continue to feed the paranoia. I’m done. You’ll believe what you will. The Russian disinformation campaign has worked on you and you don’t even recognize it.

      • tbj5

If it’s about the October letter, he did the best thing, though there were no good options at that point.

If he hadn’t sent the letter to Congress (that he guessed correctly a shitstain like Chaffetz would illegally leak to the public) officially, it would have been leaked two-three days before the election. EXACTLY like it played out in France when Russians dumped their stolen emails.

And if that had happened, the FBI would have lost too much credibility and been unable to continue their investigations into Trump and pals, which Comey surely realized were waaaaay too young and behind the curve.

I was just as pissed at any Democrat about the letter at the time, but, again, if we didn’t have such a shitty media this whole election, the non-issue of the last minute emails wouldn’t have mattered as much as it ended up mattering in the end (it did end up costing her the election).

        • JCF

But why didn’t he just state the facts that, while they were still checking out Hillary’s (ill-considered) private server, they were also investigating Drumpf’s possible collusion w Russia??? It’s the one-sidedness of Comey which pisses me off no end. >:-(

Note something grand about the tattoos: the eclectic nature of the designs. They do not fit a certain theme but are instead a vast collection of images that collectively do not form a whole, but are made more interesting because of their uniqueness. Often referred to as sailor tattoos (reference possibly to the varying designs based on different ports of call) the classic skull with top hat, sultry lady, and heart shape are all included, classic old school “sailor tattoo” motif.

And I’d trust any man, woman, child, dog, or amoeba with those tattoos over some flag wearing, faux patriotic dickhead in a suit,

    • Treant

I should think that natural spin-down over time due to just tides with their star would rapidly destabilize the world.

      • Skeptical_Inquirer

According to the video, there seems to be a lot of conditions for this to be even possible in real life. It would have to spin really fast and have the inner and outer ratio be within a certain ratio because otherwise it would naturally collapse into a globe.

        • Treant

Not to mention problems during formation; mass discrepancies between any section and any other would tend to force collapse of the torus. And an accretion disk isn’t exactly what I’d call a uniform environment since everything forms by electrostatics and then, later on, by gravitational attraction of ever-growing masses.

So I call foul on the whole donut planet thing. 🙂 One Theia event, or even a really big asteroid, would really ruin its day. And structure.

  • On a serious note, China can assume a world leadership role by announcing they are going to comply with Paris — call an environmental summit — and announce that they will work with all other nations to ensure global warming is defeated. This will confirm to the world that the USA has given up its status as the sole world superpower (which many still think it possesses). China can also “hint” in a tactful way that “in the future” they “hope” the USA will reconsider its decision, perhaps under different leadership.

    • johncAtl

There is no question that Trump is the most unqualified POTUS ever. But he’s even more unqualified if he thinks he can deal with China. China could blink an eye and make the US Dollar worthless.

      • They can’t because they would be killing their own economy. If the USA goes into recession, so does the rest of the world, and they can’t see their stuff, right? Someone told me unless China sees a growth rate of a certain percent — and relieves the pressure from the rural people who want to move to urban areas — they could face revolution.

        • johncAtl

Do the leaders of China care if it hurts their economy? It’s not like they have to be concerned about voters. It’s simply economic warfare. And they are far stronger economically and militarily than the US.

          • Not militarily. Their weapons systems are about 20 years behind in terms of sophistication — they spend only 30% of what the USA does on procurement, and have a nuclear force the size of France’s. Actually they are surprisingly not militarized for their economic size. Chinese power is “soft” power much to their credit — the South China sea is the only place they are flexing their muscle now. Since 1969 (skirmishes with USSR on Amur river), China has not engaged in any largescale military actions — how is that for being peaceful? We can learn from them.

          • johncAtl

Are there verifiable facts to support that? They don’t publish a budget like the US does. And they don’t answer to the press. They’re building artificial islands in the Pacific. Have they said why? Asians don’t think in the short term like Americans do. They consider what will happen in 10, 20, 50 years.

          • Dunno, the CIA handbook would list it. I have seen other estimates that are roughly compatible. . But the size of their Air Force and Navy — is more proportional for the smaller figure. They do not have as many aircraft or large warships as we do, and certainly not the strategic forces. And on this note I got to stop, I am getting paranoid! LOL.

          • johncAtl

Do you think that if there is a next world conflict that aircraft and warships will really come into play? Trump has basically put us back to the 60s by saying that he would use nuclear weapons. And I don’t think that China would wait for us to launch first.

          • China actually has limited strategic missiles than can reach the USA — and they fret about US anti missile systems btw. China has no plans (nothing published) to develop its strategic nuclear forces to the level of Russia or USA. They could, but they have never bothered to do so, and they I have not seen anything that shows that they intend to. They have a small strategic force — the size of France (300 warheads according to Global Security web site and other published estimates) and not the several thousand the USA has.
They are also reducing the size of their army.
What they are spending money on is a blue water navy- they are building two aircraft carriers (smaller than the USA has) that will be in service in the next decade.
They are also developing a 5th generation fighter like the expensive F-35 and building some Russian models — but at 100 million a pop there is a limit to how many they can build.
India is currently the worlds biggest arms importer (with Saudi Arabia) and is also arming up.
China is also building a space lab– but much of what they publish is propaganda about their weapons systems and technology. It simply is not that advanced as what the Western Powers, Russia and Israel (which is a leader in UAV’s, anti-missile systems, and software) can build.

So only 300 warheads? How many do they need to destroy the US? I’m thinking that taking out New York (bye TuuxKabin and 2guysnamedjoe), and Washington (bye Todd20036 and JohnnyWyeNot) might be enough.

Please don’t think I’m arguing with you Eddi because I’m not. You may be 100% right. But we’re talking about a country that doesn’t answer to their own people. And we don’t know what they might do if threatened. We make a grave mistake if we think that they will think the way we do.

          • UrsusArctos

The Chinese government answers to their people in ONE way which Eddie mentioned at the start of the thread. Chinese politicians fear the people rising up, which has happened in living memory. Chinese citizens may not vote with any choice on a government, but they chose to let the heads of that government live. THAT makes sensitivity to economic growth a real thing there. You both have valid points, but I think there’s some talking past each other. Anyway thanks for a thoughtful thread.

          • johncAtl

Thanks for not calling me an ass. I respect the hell out of Eddi’s comments.

          • Lars Littlefield

There are just too many things that can destroy a world fiat economy. As I recall from The Secret Life of Money, all individual economies participating in the macro economy have all set themselves up for catastrophe if one of them decides to get too huffy or tries to pull out. Regardless, it’s too late now. Even the yap islanders are beholden to the world economy.

      • RoFaWh

The contrast couldn’t be greater than that between China and Drumpf. China takes the long view: sure, lose a few minor tactical skirmishes over the next few years, but win the entire war in a couple of centuries

Drumpf in particular has an extraordinarily narrow focus, with the added feature of shifting his focus frequently and without warning.

The Chinese are playing chess or go, Drumpf (and his ilk) are playing tic-tac-toe.

    • houstonray

Wow. Never thought about that…good point (and would be frightening to see that happen and trump’s reaction to it).

According to a statement being prepared before an EU-China summit in Brussels on Thursday and Friday, the new alliance will say they are determined to “lead the energy transition” toward a low-carbon economy.
The EU’s climate commissioner, Miguel Arias Cañete, told the Guardian: “The EU and China are joining forces to forge ahead on the implementation of the Paris agreement and accelerate the global transition to clean energy.”

I heard mention of “clean coal” yesterday. There is no such thing.

      • UrsusArctos

Sure there is. “Clean coal” is bankrupting the utility Southern Company with the $7b+ Kemper Clean Coal plant. Some idiots ambitious executives thought they could mine lignite/braunkohl (peat that’s almost coal), gassify it, burn it, then scrub and sequester the CO2. Once SO is bankrupt there’ll be zero emissions. Tara! “Clean Coal”!
Wow. In the latest news the SO CEO says they should go natural gas, so I guess it will be a SUPER CLEAN COAL plant.
        https://www.desmogblog.com/2017/02/27/southern-company-says-its-delayed-kemper-power-plant-not-viable-coal-plant

        • johncAtl

I moved to Atlanta in October 1983 at Southern Company’s expense. I left SoCo in October 1984 because it was the most miserable company on the planet to work for. One of the biggest reasons I left was because of how much they lied to employees. They had a phone number you could call every day to listen to “Southern Today.” They were building a new nuclear plant (Vogtle) in middle Georgia, and according to the propaganda everything was going great. The plant was more than ten years behind schedule and was more than ten times over the projected cost when it was finished.

The first new nuclear plant to be approved in the US in over 20 years are new reactors at Plant Vogtle. And (not) surprisingly they are billions over budget and years behind schedule.

        • William

There is a coal-fired power plant southeast of Austin. It was built in the 70s to burn the low quality garbage coal from this area. It turned out that the coal created so much pollution that an alternative coal had to be found. Ever since the plant has been up an running, the coal is brought by train from Wyoming.

Around ten years ago, people noticed that trees within 10 to 20 from the power plant were dying. The plant owners, the City of Austin and the LCRA, have never found a connection. They did finally install scrubbers to remove pollutants from the emissions. The trees are still just as dead.

I’ve never known even a child who worked at something/anything to hang on so doggedly to the idea that he was cheated out of his victory much less his defeat. And that’s what we have here — someone fixated on being cheated out of defeat.

I think it’s time to do another postcard mailing to the White House. The last one that had so many people sending their cards addressed to Pres. Bannon had a serious effect on him. This time the cards should be addressed to Pres. Hillary Clinton. If millions of postcards addressed to her as president were to arrive, that should be bound to send him careening around the curves on a real bender!

The man’s unstable. Destabilize him some more.

    • johncAtl

Hmmm. Can I visit Seoul before all those postcards arrive at the White House? Because when Dementia pokes Child Seoul will be the first loser.

    LINCHPIN!

    • Max_1

      My gut hunch…
Comey and the FBI have been trailing Trump for years, tracking his and members of his family’s global connections through banks and land. I suspect Comey attempted to throw the election so that Trump can be on his highest pillar when it becomes known that one Donald J. Trump is a member in a mafia ring. Everyone connected goes down with Donald. But ya never heard it from me…

      • UrsusArctos

        That would be nice.

Only a convoluted, outdated, undemocratic NONSENSE put you where you so obviously do NOT belong, a system you yourself decried, before it worked in your favour (assuming it actually DID, and voting machines in the three most-suspect states weren’t HACKED).

I will admit to preferring Sanders to Clinton. And I preferred Clinton to Trump, so much so that it was not a “nose holding” event to mark the box next to her name.

I hope, if nothing else, this goddamn catastrophe tells people that they need to goddamn get off their asses and fucking vote. To be honest, I am not nearly as angry at the people who voted third party as I am at the people who did not bother–in a state that gives you two weeks to vote!–to go to the polls.

I am from Virginia originally, which is a state that does not allow early voting. It is so great to live in a place (North Carolina) that gives you fucking time to vote when you can. I posted something similar a few hours ago. What really pisses me off are people who can’t even bother to go vote.

        • meltedrubbersoul

Yes, one of the biggest examples is from my home state. I voted Obama, but did not honestly expect Virginia to go blue. That place has been a safe Republican state for years. Lo and behold, it went for Obama in 2008….and then everyone crapped the bed two years later.

      • Australia has mandatory voting. It’s the law and a fine is there to back it up.

Gazing through the smog at Beijing, where pollution regularly grounds flights, shutters schools and sends people gasping to hospitals, it’s hard to imagine China leading the fight against climate change. But that’s the role the world’s worst polluter may find itself in on Thursday afternoon, after a Rose Garden press conference from U.S. president Donald Trump regarding American adherence, or otherwise, to the Paris Climate Agreement.

Traitor Drumpf, putting Russia and China ahead of America.

And DT spoketh: Upon this gargen, and as well the gardens of Michelle, a smog upon them, and all of us. A good thing, this smog to arrive, a bigly thing.

    • I’m heading off to Beijing for three days in the first week of October – hope the smog is less at this time. I do want us to look after Mother Earth – greatly concerned about global warming.

(I clocked it this time and it took Discus 4:06 minutes to load on JMG. I don’t have the same problem on other sites that use Discus, so what’s going on?!)

This in no way a criticism of Joe, just that the Discus issues are really pissing me off.

    • AJ Drew

I have not had that issue here. However, my Internet connection has been wonky since TWC became “Spectrum” but, both Google and ATT have been tearing up my neighborhood in an apparent competition to see which can hire the worst sub-contractors. (I know that didn’t really address your post, but I needed to vent. Thank You.)

      • greenmanTN

        Vent away. 😁

True story. My mother had one of those old canister vacuums, which had a suck hole and a blow hole. (Get your mind outta the gutter!)

So I took a bunch of thin dry cleaner’s bags and taped them together with the vacuum hose, then climbed inside the plastic bags, turned it on and it inflated with me inside it, sitting on the floor.

Then my mother walked in on me in my inflated bubble and gave me this look somewhere between “What the hell are you doing?” and “I knew I should have used birth control”

        • AJ Drew

You’re an interesting fellow, greenman. So when that happened, you were how old, 24, 25? Or better yet, did that happen this morning?! Ha!

          • greenmanTN

24, 25? More like 13, though I didn’t put it down in my diary but I was forged in the crucible of having malicious older siblings. I kept my arms folded for 3 years because my sister told me I had a chicken chest!

My sister is 10 years older and she bought her first SLR camera and asked me to pose for some pictures. She later showed me the results, a double exposure of my face and (clothed) ass and said she called it, “[my name] talking out his ass again.”

Other than hiring a hitman I just have to accept it. I would be the obvious suspect.

Can we settle on “Well meaning but a little offbeat”?

        • zhera

Is Hillary perfect? No. Nobody’s perfect. Which is why you vote for the best candidate available and work with what you’ve got.

          • JT

Ish and its like are impervious to reason.

          • Ish

“sold out to Russia” here come the batshit crazy Alex Jones conspiracy theories. You would prefer HIllary’s threats of war against Russia? What’s wrong with you people?

    • JT

The stupid Ish who helped the Drumpf takeover. Your crimes will never be forgotten.

      • Ish

You people are idiots. Hillary Clinton, warmongering, corrupt, just as bad as the blubbering incompetent Donald Trump. Possibly actually worse.

        • JT

You are a shameful piece of trash, the worst kind of Trumpanzee.

          • Ish

          • JT

You are stupid and the worst kind of Trumpanzee.

        • barrixines

Dear god – listening to a political illiterate like you pointing a finger about other people’s stupidity. You are a fucking traitor to leftwing ideals. You sided with the far right, with the racists, the Dominionists, the climate deniers, the homphobes, the misogynists and the most rapacious, destructive elements of capitalism. You got exactly what you want and you return here on a regular basis, Sarandoning away, rolling around in your own shit – for what? You won, you prick – fuck off out into the sunshine.

          • Ish

You think Hillary Clinton has anything to do with “left wing ideals”? That’s the craziest thing I’ve ever read. Get this: Clinton and Trump, both our enemies. The levels of delusion and toxicity on this blog are pathetic.

          • barrixines

Sigh. No I don’t think Hillary has much to do with left wing ideals. But as a leftwinger when choosing between a corporate centrist or a mentally ill, sexually abusive, lying, fascist-sympathising, no-nothing braggart puppet for an extreme right/Putinist agenda, I’d have to park some of my ideals. I’d have so much more empathy with you if you’d held your nose and voted Hillary on the pure understanding you were doing something for the greater good and then came to JMG every day to shout off about just what a useless scumbag she was. You made your choice – it was the wrong one. The principles of people like you have helped bring the world to a very very dangerous place and it ill behoves you trolling here – and let’s face it that’s why you come back and throw in a one liner now and then – as if you have the higher moral ground.

          • Ish

The world is already a dangerous place. Electing Hillary wouldn’t have stopped that, wouldn’t have stopped the rise of the fascist movements. Far from it.

Trump is the fruit of decades of lesser evil voting. Should Hillary have won — the supporter of wars, the opponent of single payer health care, the tolerator of antiabortion dems, the enabler of DNC corruption, the backer of coups, the woman who spent twenty years trashing the gay community, the woman who called young Black men superpredators, the woman who thinks the oil company’s concerns on NODAP were just as valid as the indigenous protestors— things would be not nearly as comedic but actually just as fucking bad. She is a nightmare, just a different kind than Trump. Hillary Clinton is not your friend, and if you think she and her party will protect you, get ready to cry some bitter bitter tears.

I do have the higher moral ground, thank you. Until the Dems and Republicans both are booted the fuck out this nightmare will keep getting worse.

      • Boreal

That fat piece of trash just earned blocking.

        • cleos_mom

Certainly but what does his being fat have to do with it?

I often get the impression here that many bigoted/destructive/ridiculous antics would be tolerated if the anticker was certifiably skinny.

          • Boreal

I don’t tolerate trolls skinny or fat. Squish just happens to be a troll blob. Maybe if he spent less time trolling from his mom’s basement and more time in the sunlight, his life would be better.

    • The_Wretched

How is it remotely relevant to go there?

      • Ish

Tell that to them. Trump is obsessed and Hillary is still blaming everybody but herself.

    • cleos_mom

Ah yes, it’s June and the troll flowers are in full bloom.

      • Ish

I have read and commented on this blog for over 10 years. Who are you calling a troll?

“unmasking” is curious… what Fox news story did I miss this morning?

      • ZRAinSWVA

        Yes, very curious. Almost Freudian.

      • -M-

This is ridiculous. It’s perfectly normal and okay to “unmask” the identities of citizens who were caught in surveillance of foreign agents if it’s relevant. And that’s been explained repeatedly.

  • lymis

You know, some people, after they’ve won, actually play UP the qualifications or skill of their opponent.
“My opponent ran a hard race and was a worthy adversary, but I’m pleased that I’ve won because the people have spoken and they’ve chosen me.” Or whatever – it still implies that they were impressive, but you were even MORE impressive. If the other person was a great candidate, and you won, your saying you’re even better. (Whether that’s actually true, or whether you had things handed to you by underhanded game playing.)

When you constantly harp on how much your opponent sucked, as a person and as a candidate, and you yourself barely squeaked by (such as, losing the popular vote and only being carried by the slimmest margins in the states that made the difference), you’re essentially saying, “Sure, I suck. I suck really bad. I’m an awful choice. I only won because they were even worse.”

Now, in some important ways, Russian intervention aside, I’d agree – Trump sucks, and this election was the Democrats’ to lose, and for whatever reasons, they managed to.

But for someone who lives for his own ego, Trump is stunningly bad at it.

    • ZRAinSWVA

Excellent point, lymis, and one that needs to be repeated everywhere that’s possible!

    • cleos_mom

I doubt Donnie Fyodorovich knows what the concept of a worthy opponent is — in his universe any opponent is unworthy by definition.

  • Larry in Oklahoma

We’re now 100+ days past the election and he is still bitching about it. No true winner ever complains about his opponent.

  • Mark

So very tired of this baby sitting in the WH. When are the adults going to assume control again?

    • Daveed_WOW

This supports my idea that the blame for disaster falls on the Republican voters and on every Republican in congress. It’s time to stop treating politics like a pillow fight, Democrats.

  • Raising_Rlyeh

We can’t just pull out though, right? My understanding is that we are locked in for three years. Unless trump is dumb enough to think that breaking an international accord is a great fucking idea.
