Monday is the start of what’s expected to be a busy next few days in Washington. It’s the deadline for President Donald Trump’s Department of Justice to provide any documents related to his alleged claim that the Obama administration wiretapped his phones in Trump Tower during the campaign.

On Sunday, Republican Senator John McCain of Arizona called for Trump to retract his wiretapping claims because simply levying the accusation damages confidence in the government. Former President Barack Obama has denied the allegations. The issue will likely arise at press secretary Sean Spicer’s daily press conference.
