Fox Host Shep Smith Goes OFF On Trump: Everything You Say Is A Lie And You Treat Us Like Fools [VIDEO]

The Week reports:

President Donald Trump praised Fox News during his combative press conference Thursday, but he certainly would not have liked what he saw if he turned on his TV afterward. Fox News’ Shep Smith did not hold back when tearing into the president after the presser: “It’s crazy what we’re watching everyday,” Smith said. “It’s absolutely crazy. [Trump] keeps repeating throwaway lines that are not true at all and sort of avoiding this issue of Russia as if we’re some kind of fools for asking the question.”

As Smith went on, it appeared to occur to him that the president could be watching. He turned to stare directly into the camera and began to address Trump directly: “No sir,” Smith said. “We are not fools for asking the question and we demand to know the answer to this question. You owe this to the American people.”

I insist that you watch the full clip.

Even if the Fox liar channel (never say Fox and the N e w s word in the same sentence) did state a fact or the truth, how few of their viewers would even notice?

This will not break through to their viewers.

And even if Rupert’s kids have said they need to move away from right wing only, I doubt it will happen. I also am sick to see the cancer that is Fox and their people have spread to other networks and channels.

        • greenmanTN

That character kind of seemed like the type who might “accidentally” fall on a guy.

An aside, like that’s something new, but a vicar in the U.K. had to go to the Emergency Room because he had a potato stuck in his ass. But of course he had a perfectly reasonable explanation for how it got there.

It seems he was hanging curtains in the nude but fell off the ladder and landed on the potato (which was mysteriously upright instead of on its side as potatoes tend to be) and somehow it ended up in his ass by some freak accident!

sweetie? Just admit it. You put a potato up your ass. You know it, I know it, everybody knows it. I know it’s hard, but maybe if you stopped being such a chicken shit you might find someone to give you all the potatoes you want. (And I will never eat dinner at your house.)

Why does Shep HATE so much. WHY????

  • MikeBx2

Trump’s the same dangerously unqualified person he’s always been. We saw nothing new today. But now as POTUS he’s surrounded himself with other unqualified amateurs. Only a matter of time before it has very, very serious repercussions. Clock is ticking.

    • kaydenpat

What happened to that pivot that so many of his supporters promised us?

  • AtticusP

Fox must keep Shep Smith on the payroll just so they can continue to claim that they’re “fair and balanced”.

As if a little bit of truth and sanity from Shep could cancel out the lying loons on “Fox and Friends”.

    • Tomcat

Fox and friends are seriously not journalist at all. Just political hacks.

      • AtticusP

That may well be true, but I doubt that the target audience can distinguish between journalists and political hacks.

If they hear it on Fox, it must be true. All other media are “lying” to them. And Trump is reinforcing this, all the time.

I watched that with my mouth agape today

    • Natty Enquirer

Remember, Trump is ALWAYS playing to the dolts who elected him.

      • That_Looks_Delicious

He’s a perfect fit for that demographic but I’m not sure he’s playing. I’ll grant that he’s smart at Reality TV (and watching TV), avoiding paying taxes and subcontractors, and selling crap to rubes. But I really do think he’s incredibly stupid about government and has blundered his way to the top but is too much of a narcissist to admit he’s in way over his head.

        • David Walker

And the booze hound neanderthal bannon and the Kelly girl aren’t about to tell him.

          • Rambie

Bannon just wants to pull the strings, Trump is the perfect idiot for him. The GOP’ers will go along as long as they can get their toxic agendas passed. Putin it sitting back and waiting to pounce while the rest of us (and the world) is hoping to survive.

      • Sure. But he has no clue that only half of those dolts will believe anything they’re told, whereas the other half voted for him only because he wasn’t the Dem and not Clinton.

        The latter ones are reachable.

      • Octoberfurst

And the maddening thing is that the dolts who elected him don’t care if he lies constantly. I know people who are Trump supporters and they think the sun shines out his ass. No matter how idiotic he is they still think he is wonderful. It drives me crazy. You really can’t reach these morons. Logic and common sense are dead to them.

        • Friday

Admittedly he’d at least be better-advised/controlled on this topic , (and would have said ‘nucular’ but same pattern.)

    • Steverino

Somebody should tell him: “uranium is something that comes out of your ass.”

      • kaydenpat

It probably does come out of his behind given how toxic he is.

      • So uranium = santorum. Got it. Thanks for clarifying that for me.

      • RNegron

    • Extemporaneous speech can read badly for anybody (Bad. It’s Baaaaad!) But there is no one short of Sarah Palin who is worse at it. And, like George W. Bush before him, it’s ALWAYS ON. Dubya had that annyoing “nuttin'” “wuddn’t” “duddn’t” patter ALL the time. Trump has this word salad, with few crunchy, nutritious words. Just the same, basic, wilted words over and over in slightly different order.

  • Steverino

Several years ago when hubby and I lived in northern San Diego County (I know, I know), I saw an automobile with a bumper sticker that read: “I don’t trust the liberal media.” So I thought to myself… “I agree. How can you trust something that doesn’t exist?”

        • Edmund Allin

Thanks. I still couldn’t believe it but was able to do a little more double-checking, and yes, it appears to be true.

From the Uncyclopedia article on democracy: “Democracy is intended to grant all men a stake in their country, as they can help chart its course through the unmapped waters of politics. Unfortunately, since the demographic transition from bald, bearded men who wear togas to scumbag chav bastards, the system has left much to be desired as tabloid reading imbeciles have as much say in the running of the country as Nobel Prize-winning scientists.”

It’s all a calculation on the part of media outlets like Fox, CNN, MSNBC. Do we generate higher revenues from supporting the Mad King, or from tearing him down. Perhaps Murdock has decided it will be more profitable to ride the wagon down the hill, rather than trying fruitlessly to pull it up. That said, Shepard appeared sincere in his consternation. Perhaps he’s feeling a bit of the dismay we have since November 8th.

    • Lazycrockett

Well Shep has always been the sane one over their.

  • bitwise

If this were just Shep in a brief rant I’d think this isn’t to remarkable since he’s done that sort if thing before. But a whole segment where he calls Trump a liar had to have approval from higher ups. Add in the WSJ agreeing with him and it looks like Murdoch has had it with Trump.

    • Sam_Handwich

what is Murdoch expecting — kinder, gentler fascism?

      • clay

What is Murdoch expecting? a better balance between a strong dollar and a strong stock market.

        • What they were all expecting was a narrow Clinton win with a cloud of suspicion over her from allegations making her weak and ineffective and unable to get anything through Congress. It never occurred to anyone that Trump would actually win including the FBI and probably not even the Russians.

          • Skeptical_Inquirer

If the CIA actually gave a crap about this country, it would go after Murdoch. He has done so much shit to destabilize this country.

          • It is illegal for a foreigner to own majority interest in a US broadcasting company. So Republicans fast tracked Murdoch’s citizenship even though he was nowhere near eligible on residency alone. I don’t think this had ever been done for anyone seeking US citizenship. It never should have been allowed. Granted, if he hadn’t started Fox News the Koch Brothers or someone else would have. But everything about Murdoch is sleazy. he’s not an American. I don’t give a damn what his passport says.

          • RoFaWh

Hope Cooke. who became Queen of Sikkim and thereby forfeited her US citizenship, recovered it by act of Congress.

    • canoebum

Murdock has billions on the line when it comes to the stability of Europe, as do many other influential business interests. The French election is soon upon us. It may be those interests want Trump to be seen as an abject failure to forestall a Le Pen win, which would only aggravate the instability. Brexit was bad enough. If France goes, chaos will ensue.

  • That_Looks_Delicious

I’ve been reading the transcript and it’s…… Palinesque.

    Here’s just one small part:
“Well, that’s what I’ve been talking about for a year and a half, strong borders. They’re so surprised, oh, he having strong borders, well that’s what I’ve been talking about to the press and to everybody else. One promise after another after years of politicians lying to you to get elected. They lied to the American people in order to get elected. Some of the things I’m doing probably aren’t popular but they’re necessary for security and for other reasons. And then coming to Washington and pursuing their own interests which is more important to many politicians. I’m here following through on what I pledged to do. That’s all I’m doing. I put it out before the American people, got 306 electoral college votes. I wasn’t supposed to get 222. They said there’s no way to get 222, 230’s impossible. 270 which you need, that was laughable. We got 306 because people came out and voted like they’ve never seen before so that’s the way it goes. I guess it was the biggest electoral college win since Ronald Reagan. In other words, the media’s trying to attack our administration because they know we are following through on pledges that we made and they’re not happy about it for whatever reason.”

    • That_Looks_Delicious

      Here’s another portion. Mind-boggling.

“We’ve begun preparing to repeal and replace Obamacare. Obamacare is a disaster, folks. It is’s disaster. I know you can say, oh, Obamacare. I mean, they fill up our alleys with people that you wonder how they get there, but they are not the Republican people our that representatives are representing. So we’ve begun preparing to repeal and replace Obamacare, and are deep in the midst of negotiations on a very historic tax reform to bring our jobs back, to bring our jobs back to this country. Big league. It’s already happening. But big league.”

      • -M-

      • BudClark

At the risk of being redundant …

        that makes NO sense WHATSOEVER!

    • Natty Enquirer

As usual, if you read/listen closely, Trump has an out. He said he guesses that he had the biggest electoral college win since Reagan. He didn’t assert it as a solid fact. This tells me he is slipperier than we give him credit for.

      • That_Looks_Delicious

If he’s slippery it’s probably just an automatic reflex from decades of being slippery. I don’t think his attention span is good enough nowadays to be truly slippery.

If you read the transcript, he can’t seem to stay focused on one topic for more than three seconds. Often, he veers off into WTF-is-he-talking-about in the middle of a sentence.

        There’s something wrong with him.

        • Todd20036

Trump a Series of Untrue Things

Follows the tragic tale of a country — America — who wanted to live in peace and safety. The country is saddled with an evil guardian named President Trump, who will do whatever it takes to get his hands on the nations piece of mind (and women). America must outsmart Trump at every turn, foiling devious plans and all out lies.

            :40

          • Yeah, it was about as nuts as the rest of the presser. Reporter asks what’s basically a softball question and any rational politician — or human being — would know it was trying to do nothing more than benignly ask the President to condemn violence against synagogues, which has increased quite a lot since the election. “I condemn all violence and we’re looking into it” = a nothing answer.

Instead, he jerked like a frog hooked up to a car battery and blathered on about how unfair the question was…and how not anti-Semitic he personally is. And threw in not-racist, too.

Somewhere in the same presser, he asked an African American journalist to arrange a meeting for him with the Congressional Black Caucus…which had previously issued him an invitation to meet with them, but he blew it off. But of course the weird thing was this bizarre notion he had that all black people know each other.

The whole bloody thing was surreal and frightening.

        • Earl

Then, for your sight in that eye. Do not watch it.

It’ll be twitching so much you’ll never see anything again.

Yes, that was an interesting read, but I’m not sure one negates the other (protecting the guilty vs persecuting the innocent.) The article did address that, but in the end, my take-away was that the result of both fascism and autocracy are not that different.

  • I decided to take that silly little survey the GOPers posted, obviously a push poll. Why? Because I was bored.

    Mainstream Media Accountability Survey
Do you believe that the mainstream media has reported unfairly on our movement?
Other, please specify: No, they haven’t held you nearly accountable enough

Do you trust MSNBC to report fairly on Gobshite’s presidency?
    * Yes

Do you trust CNN to report fairly on Gobshite’s presidency?
    * Yes

Do you trust Fox News to report fairly on Gobshite’s presidency?
Other, please specify: Trick question. They’re the GOP’s propaganda station, they ‘report’ nothing.

On which issues does the mainstream media do the worst job of representing Republicans? (Select as many that apply.)
    Immigration
    Economics
    Pro-life values
    Religion
    Individual liberty
    Conservatism
    Foreign policy
    Second Amendment rights
I checked them all, because if anything, the media gives the Republicans a pass for their evil and corruption.

Which television source do you primarily get your news from?
    Fox News
    CNN
    MSNBC
    Local news
I checked none of these because I don’t use a TV source for my news

Do you use a source not listed above?
Yes, this thing called “objective reality.” You guys should try it sometime. Saves having to remember the lies you tell all the time.

Which online source do you use the most?
    Joe My God

Do you trust the mainstream media to tell the truth about the Republican Party’s positions and actions?
Other, please specify: Mostly, but they cut you guys way the hell too much slack with the lies & corruption

Do you believe that the mainstream media does not do their due diligence fact-checking before publishing stories on the Trump administration?
Other, please specify: C’mon, you worded that one in the form of “When did you stop beating your wife?” That’s pathetic.

Do you believe that the media unfairly reported on President Trump’s executive order temporarily restricting people entering our country from nations compromised by radical Islamic terrorism?
    * No

Were you aware that a poll was released revealing that a majority of Americans actually supported President Gobshite’s temporary restriction executive order?
Other, please specify: I don’t believe phony push-polls. Overwhelming majority of Americans hate Trump now and everything he does.

Do you believe that political correctness has created biased news coverage on both illegal immigration and radical Islamic terrorism?
    * No

Do you believe that contrary to what the media says, raising taxes does not create jobs?
Other, please specify: You phrased that question all wrong. I believe, consistent with facts, that raising taxes usually reduces unemployment rates due to increased stimulus spending.

Do you believe that people of faith have been unfairly characterized by the media?
Other, please specify: I believe conservative fundamentalist Christians have wrongly claimed the mantle of ‘faith’ solely to themselves. They elected Trump therefore really aren’t good, moral, or ethical people at all.

Do you believe that the media wrongly attributes gun violence to Second Amendment rights?
Other, please specify: I’m fine with 2nd Amendment gun rights. I own firearms. I just don’t want criminals and crazy people to have them, but you do. That’s terrible!

Do you believe that the media has been far too quick to spread false stories about our movement?
Other, please specify: No, they should be much faster spreading the true stories about you corrupt goons.

Do you believe that the media uses slurs rather than facts to attack conservative stances on issues like border control, religious liberties, and ObamaCare?
    * No

Do you believe that the media purposely tries to divide Republicans against each other in order to help elect Democrats?
    * No

Do you believe that the media creates false feuds within our Party in order to make us seem divided?
Other, please specify: Your intra-party feuds are very real.

Do you believe that the mainstream media has been too eager to jump to conclusions about rumored stories?
    * No

Do you believe that if Republicans were obstructing Obama like Democrats are doing to President Trump, the mainstream media would attack Republicans?
Other, please specify: Republicans DID obstruct President Obama! They were proud of it! There is no ‘if’. Now you fools are whining about not getting everything you want. Pathetic.

Do you agree with the President’s decision to break with tradition by giving lesser known reporters and bloggers the chance to ask the White House Press Secretary questions?
Other, please specify: No, and he’s showing great disrespect for that other vital amendment to our Constitution: The First.

Do you agree with President Trump’s media strategy to cut through the media’s noise and deliver our message straight to the people?
Other, please specify: No, because his message is nothing but lies.

Do you believe that our Party should spend more time and resources holding the mainstream media accountable?
Other, please specify: Hell no. Tell Donald to STOP WASTING MONEY & RESOURCES ON HIS EGO! He can’t even stop lying about his election margins.

Love this! But I have to take the opposite track with two of your answers ….

Do you trust MSNBC to report fairly on Gobshite’s presidency?
      * Yes

Do you trust CNN to report fairly on Gobshite’s presidency?
      * Yes

They didn’t exactly report fairly on Gobshite’s campaign — IMO they helped elect him — so I don’t have much faith in their reporting now that he’s president. We can hope, though. Right? B-)

    • I did too. It’s clearly a push poll. Note: I put my local newspaper for my most trusted source. It’s actually a pretty good source and while the editorial section tens to be a bit right of center (although they endorsed Clinton…a first for them) the reporting is reliable, especially on local issues.

To say that I am overjoyed to hear a journalist (even if he is working at Fox News) take the Presidunce to task over his bald-faced lies is quite a thing to see. And hear. It is about damned time that a member of the news media takes this kind of stand.

But let’s be clear: they are not merely “untruths” that the Presidunce is shitting out of his fetid little mouth. A person can happen to say something that s/he thinks is true but then later turns out not to be true. That would be an untruth.

What the Presidunce is doing is lying. That is, he is full cognizant of what he is saying and his intention is to obfuscate. He is not trying to mislead. He knows that absolutely no one (not even his own supporters) believes him.

He is merely trying to create smoke while he works his evil plans.

    • Fox…meet henhouse.

  • safari

Apparently the FBI has decided not to file charges against Flynn unless additional information appears.

    • safari
    • Figures… On the other hand, if when confronted with the falsehood, Flynn corrected the record to reflect the truth, they have been known to let it slide under those circumstances.

It’s usually only when you keep lying they drop the hammer.

      • David Walker

Don’t forget, though, that good ol’ boy Jeffy Sessions can power over the FBI. I’m not sure how absolute that is, but I remember that a fair amount of independence was given up when JEdgar left.

  • NBC reporter Peter Alexander: “You said today that you had the biggest electoral margin since Ronald Reagan – 304, 306 electoral votes. In fact, President Obama got 365 in 2008.”
Trump: “Well, I’m talking about Republicans.”
Alexander: “President Obama 333, George H.W. Bush 426 when he won. So why should Americans trust…”
Trump: “I was given that information, I was just given it. We had a very big margin.”

The truth? Ridiculously easy to find:

  • fuzzybits

I agree. Who gives a shit about the elector numbers? Tell the people what they deserve to know you orange coward.

    • safari

Donald cares. It’s the only thing he’s clinging on to that he uses to justify his incompetence as the correct path.

      • fuzzybits

Yea.I know he points it out everyday.

        • safari

And if it was something else, we’d know that, too.

  • Tomcat

Hey Trump, the world does not care how much you know, until they know how much you care. Which as far as you go the answer to both is ZIP, ZERO,NADA,NONE.

  • well, i’m starting to believe a little more in NSA “we’re going to go nuclear on his ass” guy. cause this is what they would do.

they have dirt on all of us. some of us don’t care, but some of us really do. like mr. ’30 years of doing this’ shep. heh, i can only imagine some of the shit the NSA and CIA have on the people who work for faux. i’ve lived in DC. i know what happens in “McClean.”nuff said.

i don’t believe for a minute that anyone on faux really cares about truth, justice, the american way, or even other journalists. but i do know that most of them really enjoy their millions, their parties, their boyfriends and mistresses, their drugs. if Spooky McFormerSource called me up today and said, “do you really want everyone in the world to know about you and ______? no? then act like a real journalist now. we’re taking him out.” i probably would.

  • Rex

    Somebody’s balls finally dropped.

    • ByronK

Regardless, for anyone from Fox to say it’s their responsibility to point out when something is false, well that’s just vomit making.

      • At least he gave them an out… “It’s sort of our responsibility…”

Yeah, I choked on that hypocritical load of horse shit too.

  • JCF
  • Blake Mason
    • Skeptical_Inquirer

What I resent about them is they never apply to themselves any of the shit they insist on forcing on us. They whined and bitched and shat on Obama for 8 years and now they’re all “oh, tut, tut, you must mind your Ps and Qs.”

  • I assume he has an exit strategy because he can’t last long at Fox News like this. I’m surprised that he survived being outed.

    • RoFaWh

He doesn’t. His enormous ego won’t even think about the possibility of a wreck.

  • Not OT: The original post has been flagged for removal, however screen captures remain! More proof that Trump pays his audiences.

  • Andymac3

I’d much prefer seeing Shep on MSNBC than Greta Hag. He is much easier on the ears than Greta and he’s not a fucking scientologist cult apologist.

And I didn’t realise it he was now publicly gay:
    http://www.salon.com/2016/10/17/shepard-smith-comes-out-as-gay-says-roger-ailes-was-like-a-father-talks-about-the-future-of-fox-news/

    • ByronK

Ya, I find Greta hard to listen to.

      • William

Greta became the character she plays on TV.

O/T: The number of adverts from the Judicial Crisis Network on MSNBC between their Political comment programs pushing the supreme court nominee and the oil bill and healthcare repeal. Koch brothers funded and has been growing in strength since Bush.

Who is going to finally have the balls to call him mentally challenged

    • AJ Drew

Tough call! Even the guy who wrote the original paper defining narcissistic personality disorder says, NO, DT is just an entitled jerk. Hmm.

      https://www.nytimes.com/2017/02/14/opinion/an-eminent-psychiatrist-demurs-on-trumps-mental-state.html

      • JWC

Can America afford an entitled jerk??

        • AJ Drew

Yes, yes we (USA) can. Even if Article 25 is out of play, DT’s continued insane performances and DT’s “best people” fighting behind the scenes (Dominionism vs Leninism vs Ugly Market Capitalism vs Autocratism,) will eventually implode.

We are only *weeks* into this administration.

          • RoFaWh

A very few weeks, at that. Can be counted on the fingers of one hand.

    • RoFaWh

I read some snips of Drumpf’s yap about you-rain-ee-umm and thought, my god, holy jumping jesus on a pogo stick, that man is beyond ignorant.

He sounded like a bright four year old who knows the contrast between good and bad, but doesn’t understand that most things are neither purely good nor purely bad.

      • JWC

I think that while he was campaigning he was in his element Every one loved him the more bizarre he became the more they cheered “i could shoot someone in NYC and still get elected” It spun and it spun everyone was talking about Donnie He was akin to the puch drunk boxer who won his match , not knowing where he was but soaking up the cheers Then came Jan 20 2017, they were quiet,Presient elect begame Mr President and I believe that scared the living hell out of Donnie He now had to preform and he realized his blind blustering bravado wasn’t going to cut it I also believe that Bannon and Pence seized on this and are just biding their time Yesterdays bat shit crazy rambling press meet and his upcoming Victory thing in Florida is Donnie returning to when it was fun Yes I tyhink he suffers greatly mentally and can’t say “I don’t want to play anymore”

  • RRebel

So now someone at Fox News is awake? Where were they six months ago?

    • RoFaWh

Their mistake was thinking that they could predict the future.

  • Mark

It was a nice smackdown….but it was still much too nice. Take off the gloves. Call him out -right to his face – during the presser – on his lies – no untruths – lies! And give him a dish of the same dis-respect he doles out. Ya got a mouth and two fucking hands! USE them!

    • the inability of the media to say or write the word “LIE” is amazing to me, in a certain way. it’s like they are paid and told and maybe more than that, to never use it. ever.

  • Mark McGovern

Overall pretty impressive coming from FOX.

  • JWC

if FOX can see the shit the mind boggles???

  • ColdCountry

Oh, Trumpty Dumpty you are headed for a fall….

    • Rambie

      Hey Trump, fall faster please

      • William

How about we catapult him over the Mexican border?

        • Calvin

Lets wait until the border’s secure. LOL

        • Rambie

          LOL
Just think of the mushroom cloud and toxic fallout from that!

  • SDG

I keep saying this… WHERE THE FUCK WERE YOU BEFORE THE ELECTION????

    • Calvin

They probably thought they were safe not reporting on his pre-election lies because they didn’t thing he’d win either.

      • RoFaWh

        I too didn’t think he’d win.

Shows what I know about politics.

  • Bad Tom

    Trump has lost Fox.
    ——-
It is like Nixon losing Cronkite on the Vietnam war. But Nixon was savvy enough to realize it was a huge problem. Trump is not nearly that smart. And Trump has lost Fox on Trump, which is worse than what Nixon faced.

  • Claude Jacques Bonhomme

Shep has had a Hallelujah moment. May all MSMs find theirs and do their job.

The Guardian, on Trump’s aria today:

For the last several months we all thought we were watching the presidential version of Celebrity Apprentice. Trump was going to walk into our living rooms, fire somebody at random, and then happily walk out.

In fact, we have our shows all mixed up. This is actually a very long season of The Office, with our new president playing the role of a self-obsessed buffoon who clearly thinks he’s smart, funny, kind and successful.

Trump is the boss we all know so well, and never want to see again. The one winging it at every turn, in every sentence. The one who just read something, or talked to somebody, and is now an Olympic-sized expert.

    https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/feb/16/donald-trump-press-conference-media-criticism-not-funny

    There’s more:

In theory, the press conference was called to reveal the name of the all-important Labor Secretary, whose identity will only get recalled on Jeopardy. He’s replacing the guy who quit after a reporter dug up the video tape of his ex-wife on Oprah. Talk about a bad hombre.

But all that was just a bait-and-switch for the real subject of Trump’s obsession: himself. In painful detail, the president took the trouble to explain his thought process in real time, as problems bubble up to the thing that sits under his combover.

There’s more and it’s worth reading. The country is screwly trued.

  • WillMoor

I get why people hate Fox news, overall I do as well, but some of the memes being posted below have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the amazingly excellent point that Smith made and are distracting from a MUCH more important issue than hating Fox News. Did you meme posters even watch the video? Are you really going to shut down something so well stated because you want to get in a good dig at Fox News that might help you win the internet for the day?

  • sword

We are starting an office pool…how long before Murdoch kicks him out the door for being a Marxist Liberal?

  • John Calendo

Hi, Shep. Let me be the first to welcome you to MSNBC. We built a nice soundstage for you in Washington, where you will be relocating. Actually, we built it for Greta, but everyone hates her and no watches her show. She’ll be bought out of her contract soon. More cost effective than losing viewership and ad revenue. But you…we’ve had our eye on you for years. You’re funny, you’re thorough, you don’t lack for courage, and you’re gay. Welcome home, Shep.

  • Devon L Jackson

“He’s saying untrue things!” Those are called “lies;” it’s okay to say the word. “If you tell us the truth, your supporters will support you either way.” We know — and that’s scary. If he admits treasonous collusion, his supporters will continue to support him, giving him the confidence he needs to further derail our democracy. His people are the problem, and they’re so darn happy to be.
