Washington Post: Details Of Anti-LGBT Order “Remain In Flux” – Sources Are Uncertain That Trump Will Issue

The Washington Post reports:

The White House is embroiled in a debate over whether to reverse some key protections that the Obama administration extended to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender workers, according to several people briefed on the process.

A draft of a potential executive order began circulating in Washington over the weekend that would overturn former president Barack Obama’s directive barring discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity in the federal workforce and by federal contractors.

But individuals familiar with deliberations within the White House, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because no final decision has been made, said that the details of the policy remain in flux and that it is far from certain President Trump would ultimately issue such an order.

That top officials are debating whether to wade into the issue of gay and transgender rights highlights the tension the new administration faces when it comes to social issues. Trump campaigned on an economic message, but he is under pressure from the social conservatives who propelled him into office to implement their top priorities.

  • Millstone

I might still have my “No More Mr. NIce Gay” sign from the Prop 8 aftermath. I meant it then, I mean it now.

I hope reason prevails, but if they want to add this particular log to the fire, bring it, assholes.

    • Rand503

Yup. and in four years, we can get it reversed just as easily. We are in it for the long haul.

  • vernacular100

Is it not how seems to run things so far keep you guessing? Then clobber you in the back of the head with a hammer!

  • Gee

Remember all the LOL’s the day he announced he was going to run for president

    • Millstone

Guilty. Remember how HuffPo relegated him to the entertainment section until the convention?

      • Carl

Remember when Jimmy Fallon patted him on the head?

        • david fairfield

I don’t forgive him for licking trumps ass on national television. I won’t watch his show again. Ever.

          • Dramphooey

You were willing to watch it before?

          • david fairfield

If someone interesting was the guest I would tune in. But not any more.

      • Cackalaquiano

totally guilty. I was pulling for him to win the GOP nomination because there was no possible way that clown could beat Hillary.

        • BlueberriesForMe

I was so sure the Repuke nominee was going to be Scott Walker. Someone else wrote that it would be Marco Rubio. Seems like a 1000 years have passed since then.

        • Kate

You way underestimated just how bad a candidate Hillary was.

          • Paula

No, Kate, we underestimated the stupidity level of the American people.

          • Kate

Getting elected is a skill. She lacked it.

          • Paula

Getting elected is how well you can scam.

          • Kim K’s Kute Koochy✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

Trump is a much better liar & his team somehow was able to measure “ground temperature.” Hillary didn’t campaign in the Rust belt at all!

          • Kate

Being the most qualified candidate in History (she wasn’t, but still) doesn’t make the slightest difference if you can’t convince the states to elect you.

          • The_Wretched

There was about 11 factors that went into Trump being president today. Winning the popular vote (“getting elected”) wasn’t one of them.

          • CanuckDon

And if you’re saying that Trump’s lies, manipulation, fear-mongering, and inducing absolute anger in people is a skill to get elected, then I’m glad Hillary lacked that. I think it’s utter bullshit to blame Clinton as the reason people chose to vote for Trump. His lunacy and irrationality resonated with his voters and that is a very shameful thing.

          • Dramphooey

We, Hillary and her campaign staff seriously underestimated a demagogue. We’ve never seen a true demagogue in our lifetimes until now.

          • bkmn

And the fact the media cares more about click income than real reporting.

          • margaretpoa

I changed my signature to “Never underestimate the power of stupid” on the morning of November 9th.

          • Nowhereman

It’s the one force of nature you can accurately predict. Stupid is as stupid does.

          • JT

Very stupid people in all the wrong places.

          • Nowhereman

My mind just went to that song “lookin for love in all the wrong places”…

          • Daveed_WOW

Nope. We underestimated the degeneracy of the American voter who supported Trump.

        • Kevin

Me too! Ah, the good ol’ days.

    • Boycott NC

In reality, the other Republican contenders weren’t any better. It would have sucked regardless.

      • BlueberriesForMe

I don’t think they would have Steve Bannon around or being consulted on anything.

      • BobSF_94117

That’s a ridiculous thing to say.

      • Stephen Elliot Phillips

we wouldnt have the dictatorship aspect. but it still would be a very bitter, unfriendly time for progressives.
This started to exponentially catch on fire after Citizens United. The dark money has caused our political system to be corrupted on a national level

    • Friday

It’d still be funny if even the Christian Right hadn’t put their hatred and greed over even a *veneer* of ‘Morals.’

    • Stephen Elliot Phillips

I actually commented on how beautiful melania was/is and she looked miserable and there was no way she married him for love. Commented on the video of them descending that escalator..
AND I got blasted by several people. LOL

  • religion is insane

By looking at women, blacks, and Jews, there are preponderance of evidences of what will keep happening. People seem naive and have short memories.

    • Millstone

Not to bash the millennials, but they grew up in a John Hughes movie, a relatively secure environment.
One can’t remember what you didn’t experience.

But one can damn well learn. By experience, if necessary.

EDIT: Please read Alyssa’s reply to me below.

      • Tomcat

And they are going to have 30+ years of an unbalanced Supreme Court to learn what not taking the vote seriously brings.

      • Alyssa

idk if your view of millennials is correct. I was born in 1990. until the age of 11, yeah, you could have called idyllic (except my family situation was a wreck). and what happened when I was 11? 9/11.

that morning after they took us all to the gymnasium to watch this Pearl Harbor type of nightmare unfold, I caught a girl named Paula crying in the hallway. I asked her what was wrong. “my daddy says there’s gonna be a war.”

that evening, it was like being back in the middle of a Cold War crisis as my normally relatively even-headed parents told me to “stay close” to home in our town of 400 near no major metropolis. the implication was nuclear war. I understood that even then.

that night, I told my dad that I hoped there wouldn’t be a war. a solemn, respectable religious man, he agreed.

four weeks later we attacked Afghanistan and I watched everybody around me turn into bloodthirsty maniacs. every last bit of security I had was ripped away in literally a day. I saw the bombs dropped and even at eleven knew innocent people were dying. my dad cheered. my mom cheered. my entire family, absent one uncle and one aunt, cheered. cheering for death and bloodshed.

then we invaded Iraq, god knows why, and patriotic fervor once more swept through the middle of nowhere. same trauma all over again. just as the Afghanistan carnage faded into the rear view mirror, a new war popped up, with every bit as much bloodshed and violence.

        “We got ’em!”

that was the most memorable phrase of my entire childhood. I was 13 and Saddam Hussein had been captured. I was woke up from a good sleep to celebrate the capture of someone who had nothing to do with anything. a holdover from another era. a man none of us really knew anything about. a monster, to be sure, but one that was until that point irrelevant.

I was then 14, and had to watch my state pass a gay marriage ban with 75% support, along with 20 other states. as a closeted young queer, very aware of themselves, this was terrifying. terrifying beyond belief. I had to watch more of these bans pop up, all the way through the one place I viewed as safe: California. the place I planned to move to be myself. (side note: do live here now.)

I turned 18 right as the Great Recession smashed everything, jobs disappeared for the next 4 years, and every degree I could get became practically worthless.

in 2013, the first real rumblings of the anti-trans campaign began with a vile ad campaign in Anchorage that was later repeated in Houston. freshly out of the closet, I was once more a target.

and now this. now fucking Trump. this national goddamned nightmare. I haven’t gotten to be anything but somebody’s pet peeve fucking social issue my entire life.

        • Millstone

Wow. Thank you so much for sharing that – and adjusting my view.

I do appreciate it and I promise it’ll stick with me. I hope everyone reads your post.

          • AC

You write: “One can’t remember what you didn’t experience.”

And yet you are willing to swallow: “that evening, it was like being back in the middle of a Cold War crisis?” from someone who supposedly was born months after its denouement?

            God Bless the simpletons

          • Millstone

Not even worth these few keystrokes. I hope you find some peace; it’s later than you think.

          • AC

I have learned facts, and figures and many other things…but never a feeling. And neither have you.

          • AC

But the point, is – we are going to be sucker punched with shit from the right, left, up and down. It is time to think critically and “Alyssa” presents a frickin’ cornucopia of BS to practice with.

          • The_Wretched

You’re a free floating hate machine and getting close to downvoted, reported and blocked by me.

          • AC

Oh, honey, whatever willI do without another Biddy?

        • KnownDonorDad

I’ll add my thanks to you for sharing your insight and experience. As horrid as it must be to be a political football, I think the good news is to be found in the massive – arguably unprecedented – shift in public opinion in favor of things like marriage equality and non-discrimination policies. The trans community is more vulnerable, but a big part of that, I think, is that anti-“PC” internet trends that helped elect Trump subsumed anti-trans sentients. That will be a long battle indeed, and one that Bannon, Pence, and company will try to exploit for their own advantage.

        • AC

For real? You thought it was like “Pearl Harbor?” Because I just checked with my niece who was also born in 1990 and she thought BS just exactly as I did.

Do not need her to verify that you did not “catch” anyone’s eye that day whose father said anything.

No one that she or I know or could think of was worried about Nuclear (or nucular) that day.

          #SAD

          • Millstone

Skimmed your post history. What’s #SAD is that you’re a flaming asshole and a waste of viable organs (desiccated liver excluded).

(P.S. When you reference your “house in The Pines” the image it conjures isn’t flattering.)

          • AC

What’s sad is you think that tells you something. When I wrote Pines it was because we all know that means Gay. What you chose to ascribe to it is your own shit.

          • Alyssa

so you don’t see any parallels whatsoever between the biggest attack on American soil since Pearl Harbor and 9/11 itself?

I’m guessing you are a Trumpist so you can just go ahead and scurry back under whichever rock you came from.

        • NancyP

I thought “Reichstag fire”. But then, I was a history major in college….

          • AC

        • AC

By your accounting (ahem), you are 26-27 years old, the first 11 years of which were idyllic. This was followed by some years of upset caused by things that have nothing to do with you on any direct or mildly tangential basis. And your conclusion is that you have been someone’s pet peeve social issue your entire life? Really? No, really?

          • Alyssa

idyllic in the sense that unlike many of my peers I didn’t have a terribly unstable family or live in poverty

but I recognized very young that I was trans and was going to have to leave my hometown/state/family, I realized I was likely to be disowned, I fantasized about it

I also didn’t miss the 90s spate of anti-gay laws and the anti-gay hysteria that hit in waves throughout the 90s.

Wrong policy on principal. Next you will tell me you believe that there should be separate facilities for the races too. If not, then where is the line?

        • Kate

          Where is the line?

Government must serve all, and individuals may serve who they choose. Companies that discriminate should be blacklisted and boycotted. Companies that receive government funding or subsidies should not be permitted to discriminate – if they want to, they need to do it on their own dime.

          • The_Wretched

“and individuals may serve who they choose”
That line of reasoning died with and supported JimCrowe. Learn some history. It’s a racist argument.

It was funny then because it seemed to fit a pattern. It’s less funny now because it’s so tellingly true and accurately describes a pernicious process by which politicians enrich and entrench themselves within a system that rewards compliance with the will of the moneyed at the expense of the people and the country they are supposed to be serving.

      • 2guysnamedjoe

Freedom of association for businesses is an innocuous-sounding phrase, but its purpose and effect is to fuck up the lives of lgbt people. It may be easy to find another baker, but it won’t be quite as easy finding another dwelling or another job, or appropriate healthcare in areas where churches run all the hospitals.

        • Nowhereman

Exactly. If I had a diner, could I refuse to serve christians? Would that be legal? Yes, yes it would.

And the ACLU will immediately take it it court, where it will be ruled un Constitutional.

      • Todd20036

Only if he hadn’t packed the court

      • Cucker “Dick” Tarlson

And he’ll ignore the ruling. Who’s to stop him?

    • Mb

That will only make it to his desk if they can get 60 votes in the senate and there is only a 52 GOP majority and one of them is Rob Portman who has a gay son and has stood up to the GOP on LGBT issues. Any Democrat that votes with the GOP on FADA will be in big trouble. They won’t be able to slip this in some budget thing to get easy passage. If any part of FADA is going to be put through it will be through an executive order like the one we have been hearing about.

  • kcken

It’ll be like the 70s again. Police raiding bars, people being thrown out of apartments, lots of public beatings that go unanswered.

        I tend to agree.

The theofascists helped get the sexual predator elected.

I can’t imagine him saying “fuck you,” when it comes to issuing an anti-LGBT executive order.

        • Friday

Well, I can imagine him screwing anyone over actually, but maybe the Christian Right wants to save the most of the anti-LGBT pogroms till after he’s given the boot and claim Trump’s our fault, so we need to be oppressed more.

          • another_steve

            Interesting comment, Friday.

My sense is that the theofascists view Trump as a “useful idiot,” just as Putin does.

          • Friday

They pretty much said so with all those ‘King Cyrus’ references, (they’re convinced he was a horrible horrible Pagan person that their God made do good things anyway, history doesn’t support this of course) …. in this case they hope he will give them power and let them oppress others and then destroy the Republic so they can, they believe, take over, blame him and everyone else, and do it more.

    • Kate

No, it’s not. FADA, sure. An EO letting the government discriminate? He won’t sign it.

      • TSS

If you are truly the authoritarian nationalist you say you are, and your declaration of that being the reason you support Trump, why would you care about civil liberties?

        • Kate

There’s a difference between valuing civil liberties, and valuing the right to elect the president.

I live in Canada for the moment – the people don’t directly elect the prime minister, and somehow it’s not the end of the world. I don’t believe in direct democracy, but it is the job and the purpose of the government to serve those who fund it, and to the extent there is a vote, elect it.

A government that does not serve it’s people is tyranny. A government that serves foreigners, at the expense of it’s people, or the rich, at the expense of it’s poor, is tyranny.

          • TSS

So what you’re saying is, then, you support tyranny to eliminate tyranny. Or am I not getting it?

          • TSS

Or – and I think this is probably where you stand – a regular conservative who believes in representative democracy.

        • Cucker “Dick” Tarlson

Ask her in Russian. In English, she makes as much sense as Steve Bannon after his first fifth of the morning.

      • Dramphooey

You can’t FADA with an EO. An Executive Order applies to the government, period. You’re in for a nasty shock if this thing flies.

        • Kate

“You can’t FADA with an EO.”

          No shit. Two separate things.

He would sign the FADA. He would not sign an EO letting the government discriminate against gay people in the providing of services.

          • Dramphooey

So you think there is no anti-LGBT EO trial balloon at all?

        • Cucker “Dick” Tarlson

Remember, she’s a lesbian who voted for Trump for some convoluted, contradictory reasons that would only make sense in the original Russian.

I blocked her when debating her weak attempts at reason became as much fun as kicking a kitten, and was just making me sad.

Still, she’s probably paid by the post, so she’s not even trying.

          • Rambie

More like a paint troll from Russia.

          • Captain HappyPants

Dammit. I just responded to one of her posts. Thanks for the heads up on saving my energy next time. 🙂

i tend to think that if the Trump regime is going to go there, they would wait until 2020, or possibly before the midterms

doesn’t make sense for them to pick this fight now.

of course i’ve been wrong about politics for the last year and a half…..so….

    • SoCalGal20

He’s insane and Bannon is a racist Leninist who wants to destroy civilization as we know it so…

      • Daveed_WOW

Yes, we know. Please tell as many people as you can in town.

    • Cuberly

Well, so far Trump is accommodating their every whim. The muslim ban, the global gag rule. Not to mention his entire cabinet is stacked with haters.

I bet it hits. And, it’ll be just as brutal as all his other shit.

      • Kate

He’s not accomodating anyone – he literally campaigned on climate change being a hoax and on trying to ban muslims.

He’s never been anti-LGBT, and they won’t be passing an EO that lets the government discriminate against us.

        • The_Wretched

Yes , they will and soon.

    • j.martindale

He has spoken of his sex life (aargh) on numerous occasions. And despite his inability to show empathy for any other people, he seems hesitant to attack the gay minority. It matters not a whit to me. Love us or hate us, he remains a Nazi whose enemies are frequently my friends.

      • Todd20036

All he needs us for is as a scapegoat. We are the gays of Germany in the 1930s. Instead of Jews, it’s Muslims in the crosshairs.

    • Kate

Some of Trumps advisors want to go there. He doesn’t, because it would be one of the few things he could do that would actually harm his standing with his base.

Trump gave the Republicans some breathing room by getting away from the social conservatives. The deal is that the churches get to lobby, and he will sign the FADA if it hits his desk. The rest of it is not his mandate – the states elected him overwhelmingly for jobs, not gays.

      • Daveed_WOW

Funny how he hasn’t done a damn thing about jobs yet. But he sure has started up with the discrimination.

      Carry on.

  • WretchedMouse

Truly the master of suspense. I do love waiting on the edge of my seat to see what rights I’m stripped of.

    • “Rights” are not some objective reality that exists in space, somehow. It’s simply a concept … one that people often disagree over, including Constitutional lawyers and judges.

That’s why Supreme Court picks matter … we want their definition of rights to coincide with ours.

Let’s remember that there was once a consensus that there was no real “right” for women to vote.

      • WretchedMouse

Not sure whether to be sarcastic or serious. Not sure what you are meaning by trying to explain to me what rights are. I’m well aware that rights are not concrete items. I am aware of what I’m allowed and when I won’t be allowed to do something then I have a have problem.

        • Todd20036

  • fuzzybits

Let’s hope those individuals have some say and say it to the right folks.

  • BobSF_94117

I suspect they’re weighing the value of pissing off gay people early and unnecessarily. Their court appointments will shred our rights anyway, so why make a big scene now?

They also luv the (I hope entirely wrong) statistic that 25% of gay people voted for the ShitGibbon. Support for us now (knowing we’re gonna lose it all in the courts) would help divide the left.

    • Friday

      They sure don’t mind lying.

    • Kate

The modern Trump crowd generally is pro-gay. The conservatives only came along because he was better than Hillary – that’s part of why they attacked him so much in the general.

The kind of people who hang out in /r/the_donald (a large Trump community) for example are overwhelmingly in favor of marriage equality. Attacking the LGBT community would cause a lot of harm, for nothing that Trump actually cares about.

There won’t be much blowback from a “companies can do business with whoever they want” bill, but anything that tried to touch marriage equality, government services, health insurance, etc. would do a lot of harm to his support.

      • Dramphooey
        • Kate

You can believe it or not. I should know – I spend a lot more time with them than you do.

          • The_Wretched

            them = who?
And the aides in the WH who are leaking have been spot on for everything that’s verifiable.

      • ultragreen

Among the various religious groups and non-religious people in the US, the biggest supporters of Donald Trump, who voted overwhelming for him, were evangelical Christians. Compared to other religious groups and non-religious people, evangelical Christians are the most hostile to same-sex marriage and other LGBT rights. They are even more hostile to us than Muslims in the US are!

I’ll leave it to you to connect the two dots in regards to what kind of pressure is being exerted from the “modern Trump crowd.”

        • Kate

They were supporters, but far from his biggest ones. He didn’t win the blue wall by being the most Jesus-y candidate. If that were the base, Ted Cruz would have won.

        • Cucker “Dick” Tarlson

I can’t see what Katerina posted, but I know it’s inane and incoherent.

trump is a compulsive pathological liar. He isn’t called Don the Con for no reason. Ask NYers. And yet you’re a fan. ???

“There won’t be much blowback from a “companies can do business with whoever they want” bill,…”

Oh really? Did you see what happened at the airports over the weekend? The Women’s March? I think you totally underestimate “the modern crowd”. And again, a “companies can do business with who ever they want bill” is going to be based on what….religion? You would so easily give up/dismiss public accommodations for yourself?

      • Texpat

You say that yet he has surrounded himself with a uniformly anti-gay cabinet so how could that really be the case?

  • Rick

    Details are in FLUKKKS, y’all.

    • Friday

I think they’re hoping it’ll be a distraction and threat against us while being bait for the Christian Right bigots: if they actually *get* what they want they can’t so much be led around by the nose so much without a whole other propaganda campaign.

      • Rick

Or maybe the entire cabinet is one big Turd Parade and they have no clue what they’re doing.

        • Friday

There’s been a certain factor of them trying to pile on as much damage as they can as quickly as possible, I think they’re only starting to realize they have already pinned that meter and their whole administration and the GOP are just pissing *everyone* off beyond endurance now.

        • 2guysnamedjoe

I think they know damn well what they’re doing. Not to get all Godwin here, but it’s pretty obvious they’ve been studying the rise of the Third Reich.

          • Todd20036

Godwin no longer applies. Trump’s fans are Nazis. Actual Nazis. And Trump is their Fuhrer.

            Instead of Jews, it’s Muslims.

            Gays are in trouble.

Educated people, non christians, non whites, open minded people – all could wind up in camps.

  • Blackfork

    He’ll do it anyway.

  • fuzzybits
  • Chris

This many generate some blowback, but part of me wants him to issue the order, and I want it to be extreme. The response would be massive, and perhaps hasten the huge anti trump sentiment that is currently in play. The more he exposes these dictator like edicts, the more people he alienates. If he removes employment protections, or god forbid goes after adoption rights, his extremeism will become more and more apparent to the “give him a chance” crowd, and he may become impotent enough that he would be unable to get his court appointments, who could do much more long term damage. ExecUtive order can be undone with the stroke of a pen, anti gay judges could do damage for decades.

    • Friday

On our end, our response to all this differs only in detail, regardless of how they go about it.

    • Cucker “Dick” Tarlson

At this point, I want to beat down anyone who still carries the “wait and see” attitude. That ship sailed on the afternoon of January 20.

  • 2amor

I am sure the “Log Cabin Repugs” are all over this. You know like “this will never happen on our watch”. homocons, ugh!!

  • Jerry Kott

Putting my finger to the wind, I sense that the White House is not liking being perceived as the Mad House. As this time, they are trying to process the blowback they are getting worldwide on the Moslem Ban. Striking while the iron is hot at this time will only back them into a corner they can’t seem to defend and predict the response.
One of the biggest enemies of LGBT Equality, has been the closet. we have to remain visible no matter what. It is hard for many to hate someone they know and easier for them to hate someone they don’t know. We don’t have to be court jesters , lap dogs or rodeo clowns, we just have to be who we are. My gut is sensing that this is saber rattling, we will see.

  • Natty Enquirer

Trump does not strike me as an LGBT+ hater. This will be a test of how thoroughly he is controlled by the alt-right goons he has surrounded himself with.

    • David L. Caster

Pence is the problem here. He was on the ticket to pick up the evangelicals and appeal to other social conservatives. He’d like to score points.

    • 2guysnamedjoe

Maybe he isn’t an lgbt+ hater, but he doesn’t give a shit about us one way or the other. However, he’ll need a steady supply of scapegoats, diversions and “squirrels”. That’s us.

    • Piona O.

There is apparently an anti-LGBT, pro-Christian executive order planned for later this week. God help us.

  • thom

BREAKING: House Judiciary Committee aides helped write Trump’s Muslim ban exec order without telling GOP leaders https://t.co/wQuD0Xiztv

I can’t believe the Republican leadership will let this lay.

    • David L. Caster

Why shouldn’t they let it lay? Fait accompli. If they say anything, then shit gets on them. Do nothing, then it’s on Trump. They can quietly “admonish” the aides.

      • 2guysnamedjoe

Meanwhile, Pres. drumpf bannon takes over the entire government.

    • Dramphooey

The anti Trump Republicans are literally begging them to show some backbone. Nothing yet.

    • Piona O.

Every day provides more proof that the Repugnicant leadership is more interested in political power than the health of our nation.

    • Piona O.

Pence is waiting for TRUMP to die.

      • 2guysnamedjoe

I doubt Pence and the rest of the inner circle plan on leaving drumpf’s demise to chance.

        • IamM

Not if they want to outlive him.

    • Platos_Redhaired_Stepchild

  • bkmn

Like I said Bannon owns the first 100 days and he doesn’t really care about teh gehz. Tony Duggar PerKKKins will have to reinsert his buttplug and turn it on high for a while.

    • Cucker “Dick” Tarlson

Yet I think Bannon cares a lot about charging up his base with a nice bowl of fresh red meat, especially after the serious blowback to his Muslim ban. He may not care about us, but he does care about keeping the yokels happy by playing their favorite hits.

      • kevin vincent

Yes but the blowback would be a million times worse even a lot of Trumpers would have a hard time backing it most are refusing to believe it real.

        • Todd20036

Many of the Trumpanzees would gladly throw us into the ovens.

All Trump has to do is cloak it as Freedom of Religion, or maybe, protecting children. And the ignorant Nazis will gladly throw us in a room and turn on the gas

          • kevin vincent

I disagree I think such an EC would even make them squeamish. I don’t think many Trumpers care much about religion. Abd people can be progay but mega racist we have it in our community. And unlike the Muslim ban they can’t justify it as protecting America when it specifically harm Americans

        • Cucker “Dick” Tarlson

True, but it’s hard to say exactly what they believe.

          • kevin vincent

I don’t think they really believe anything

        • William

One well placed “terrorist attack” and the right wing will fall in line against the declared enemy.

  • Rand503

OH, that shouldn’t bother anyone. Just forge his signature to the executive order and it’s done. Donald certainly won’t complain once it’s done and he gets all the applause from his base.

    It’s what Jesus would do.

  • 2guysnamedjoe

I think those “individuals familiar with deliberations within the White House” are just blowing smoke. I think this shit is really happening, despite what those familiar individuals are putting out there.

    • djcoastermark

I too believe it is happening, just when and how? They are just waiting for the perfect moment.

      • kevin vincent

There won’t be a moment that won’t be catastrophic to his regime

        • djcoastermark

I darn well hope so. And I hope he realizes it.

          • kevin vincent

Considering how BADLY his regime is floundering with the current mess not sure how they would justify this. Trumpers I see refuse to believe this they really don’t want it to be true they can be horrible on many areas like the Muslim ting but even they have their limits

  • MBear

It’s like Siri and Trump had a butt baby lovechild who was strangled by the Firewire cable during birth, drop on its head, and then infected by a Russian virus.
