Man Behind Voter Fraud Claims: We Can Totally Prove It, We Just Need A Little More Time [VIDEO]

This morning Vote Stand founder Greg Phillips, the man apparently behind Trump’s belief in rampant voter fraud, appeared on CNN to tell host Chris Cuomo that he totally has the proof, but he just needs a little more time to develop his data. As you’ll see, Cuomo wasn’t having it, telling Phillips, “How do you know you’re right? Shouldn’t you have waited until you have the proof?” Trump himself was obviously watching the interview as he tweeted about Phillips moments after it ended.

And he needs the REPUBLICANS Congress to investigate this and make it factual. Of course they already have a reputation of crooked investigations.

I’m sure he has many alt facts to back up his claim.

And I suppose that makes sense when you’re a millionaire’s son who’s lived his entire life in a restricted world of paid people who always agree with you. Now Americans and the rest of the planet have to contend with a neurotic president and his world of make believe.

Trump’s personality defect is in the same category as Borderline Personality Disorder. and from a”random” orange man who voted 3 million times due to his somnambulism,

  • OdieDenCO

funny. during early voting several people were arrested for trying to vote multiple times. each and every one was a donny supporter. so, if 3 million illegal votes were cast I’m betting donny was the net recipient.

  • Dutchlander

Sure. While you take your time, maybe he can release his tax returns?

  • DumbHairyApe

His constant focus on his insurmountable need for proof of his popularity and fan adoration reminds me of when the doctor to my dying, racist, homophobic father-in-law told us he was suffering from an “impenetrable paranoia”.

    • Gerry Fisher

I’ve counseled paranoid schizophrenics and people with delusional disorder before. One of the frustrations during a “decompensation” or “psychotic break,” is that it’s almost always impossible for the other person to flip the patient’s paranoid belief. Generally, we have to try to coach the patient to do some “reality checking” for him or herself, getting the person to collect more evidence. Throw Narcissism into the mix and give the “patient” all the power (he’s president of the US), and there’s no chance, really, at flipping that paranoid delusion. It truly is impenetrable.

  • Ron

Interpretation: I need more time to show you proof; alternative facts don’t create themselves you know.

So, basically, the orange asshole is going to keep this voter fraud thing going until he can beat down Hillary’s popular vote. Winning the electoral wasn’t enough – even though it was his target. Now he wants to go back and lick the batter bowl after he denied its existence.

    • That_Looks_Delicious

Yes, and I do blame the voters most of all. Nobody is THAT stupid (to vote for Trump) unless they choose to be, or unless they agree with all of his evil.

      • Or like many of the elder members of our family. They pay zero attention to the political news, the only reason they seem to watch the news is for murders, rapes and the weather. These are straight party voters who decided in their youth that they were for the GOP or the DNC and that was that. They honestly don’t know or care what the president stands for, as long as he is from the “right” party.

      • Cucker “Dick” Tarlson

People are not reading. They hear a news story, shrug their shoulders and think it’s no big deal since it obviously affects other people and not themselves. They simply don’t care.

    • Rex

    Oh, yeah, Trump University.

  • Earl

I still think that when they talk about voter fraud, they mean voting for the other guy.

  • Gregg Phillips, Donald Trump, and the people that parrot everything Trump says keep on repeating at anywhere from 3 million to 5 million votes were cast illegally. If so, it would be one of the greatest political scandals in American history …. even moreso given that Trump says not a single one of those votes were cast for HIM, because Republicans are far to honest and upright to EVER engage in voter fraud, now would they?

But Gregg Phillips says he needs a few more months to get his fact straight. It is utterly, utterly laughable, but the Trump parrots don’t care. Later this year, when there is STILL no proof of voter fraud, the Trump fans won’t care. Donald Trump could joke about buggering eight-year-old boys, and his fans would just laugh uproariously and say, “Well at least he isn’t Hillary Clinton!!!”

    • cleos_mom

Including, but not limited to, the parents of said 8-year-old boys.

  • dcurlee

    • Todd20036

      Democrats should be able to.
      Republicans don’t have to

    • Gerry Fisher

      In the non-alternative-fact world, yes.

  • Bj Lincoln

Drumpf’s mental illness and general spoiled brat syndrome will not allow him to lose. He can not lose the popular vote even though he won because he paid the electoral college. I hear real smart people saying that. He has to be the biggest and the best all the time. He is always right. He surrounds himself with Yes men that feed the delusion. It doesn’t matter that he has to lie, cheat and make up ‘facts’. The problem now is so many are insisting on facts/proof and the big bad media, who up until now let him get away with the lies, are not happy with how they have been treated and are starting to call him out on his shit. He can pick up the phone and force people to do his bidding, sign all the orders he wants and generally say and do what he wants because he really believes he is about the law and is king of the world. Sadly we will all pay for it in the end but it will end. At some point he will get caught in a lie so big it will end his reign and hopefully the GOP as it is now. I bet what ever it is that will bring this to a halt is something petty like his crowd size because he can not lose.

  • Cheetolini, you won by a trick of the appendix organ of our country, the EC. Stop your bitching.

  • we all know this is bullshit. so what is really the point?
oh, and ps….Fuck you president putz.

    • BearEyes

the point is to set the stage for voter suppression at the federal level instead of just at the red state level.

    • 2guysnamedjoe

The point of all this noise about 3 million nonexistent illegal voters is to divert attention from the real action, such as electronic voting machines with no paper trail, inadequate polling places and other forms of voter suppression in certain select districts, and shameless gerrymandering at the Congressional level .

  • Sam_Handwich

We scoured at least a dozen such articles for evidence to support the
claim, but found none. All of them pointed back to the same source: a
pair of tweets by someone named Gregg Phillips, whose Twitter profile identifies him as the founder of VoteStand (“America’s first online fraud reporting app”)

    http://www.snopes.com/three-million-votes-in-presidential-election-cast-by-illegal-aliens/

Snopes also notes that he’s promoted mainly by douchebags like Milo and Alex Jones

    • Gigi

I was talking to some “straight” conservative guy on Mediaite yesterday who said “we refer to Milo as the Mesiah,” saying that he’s not gay but “would totally go gay for Milo.” That’d be like me you or I “going straight” for Ann Coulter. Blech!

      • Gerry Fisher

Ya know…they really do live in an alternative fantasy type world. One in which they’d surrender their sexual orientation because they love the havoc that their fellow tribe member makes. Or that you can say racist things and it can be interpreted as a sophisticated satirical comment without causing any real damage to people who aren’t white.

It’s like…*magic*! [retching sounds] Life is whatever I imagine it to be in order to suit my agenda.

Given this, why the *hell* does he get time on CNN. Jeez!

      • Snarky

I think they’re not bringing him on CNN to validate him, but to simply show people “this is the whackjob who the president is listening to. He has no proof of what he says. He’s clearly making shit up.”

Man Behind Voter Fraud Claims: We Can Totally Prove It, We Just Need A Little More Time

Just like the WMD in Iraq.

  • William

This guy is a completely corrupt fuckweasel. He is the former Number 2 at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. While there, he was tasked with subcontracting out state services to a private company in a nearly billion dollar deal. The company, Accenture, made a complete disaster of state social services. The contract was eventually cancelled. After Philips left state government, his own company was given a no-bid contract to clean up the mess he helped create. He has also been involved with privatization schemes that have ended badly in other states. I’m surprised he hasn’t been hired by Trump to run Social Security.

    • TrollopeReader

Texass — Zero days without being a national embarrassment….

  • Scott MB

Pathalogical liar, he can’t handle not being seen as the best. There has NEVER been any proof of widespread voter fraud, science has proven this time and time again. The only true voter fraud is called Gerrymandering and obtuse voter restriction laws so the Rethuglicans can keep minority votes restricted.

They will claim voter fraud when they find millions of voters on voter rolls or registered to vote in multiple states ie: Steve Bannon and Tiffany Trump. If people are still on rolls but didn’t vote, zero voter fraud. If registered in multiple states but only voted in one, zero fraud. If a non-citizen is regustered to vote but doesn’t vote, zero voter fraud. This is what they are going to say is the fraud, but there is no fraud. But his followers will drop to their knees and lap up his spilled man juice.

What will be funny is if they find proof of voter fraud that was perpitrated by Republican voters. If that is shown then it will be covered up bigly.

So maybe he should take his own advice and “get over it.”

    • William

I’ve been registered to vote in three states at once.

      • The_Wretched

And I bet you only voted in one of them.

        • William

Right! I am such a lazy leftist.

“It’s been three months since the election. Show us some preliminary data. Not anecdotes, but data.”

    • Marti386

“Anecdotes” are how haters try to prove their phony talking points. A story or two doesn’t prove their point.

It’s similar to how TERFs claim they can prove “trans women are a danger to cis women in women’s restrooms”, and then the best they can do is cherry-pick 20 year-old stories of trans women who committed crimes years before they transitioned, and not anywhere near a restroom.

In short, it’s plain old bullsh*t.

  • boatboy_srq

Shorter VoteStand: we miss the days before the 13th, 14th, 15th and 19th Amendments.

  • CJAS

This narrative is being used to justify future and state and federal voting restrictions. The Justice Department did, however, find evidence of voter suppression in PA, NC, WI, MI, and TX.

  • NinoCiraulo

Here is what I do no understand. This guy has not said that 3 million of votes cast to “Hillary” are fraudulent. He is just stating 3 million. What if a good portion of those were cast for Trump. Wouldn’t that nullify the election? What is the ultimate goal here?

    • canoebum

The ultimate goal is to satisfy The Donald’s gargantuan ego. All through the election he denounced political correctness as evil. Now, his Luddite followers are engaging in nothing but political correctness, by saying anything, no matter how outlandish or stupid, which supports the regime.

    • SFBruce

The main thing here is absolutely nothing this joker had to say will make anyone tethered to reality believe there were anywhere near 3 million votes cast in this election. It’s true, he never claimed all those votes went to Trump, but Trump doesn’t even need bad science to believe whatever he needs to believe to prop up that massive ego. Who knows what Phillips’ goal is here, but so far all he’s done is show himself to be a total fool.

    • William

What about the Michigan precincts where more ballots were cast than the number of people who signed in to vote? Michigan law says those can’t be recounted if there is any discrepancy.

Never mind, those precincts all went for Trump.

  • Jean-Marc in Canada

I wish Cuomo had been more brutal in his interview. He should have been more dismissive and confrontational. U.S. media needs to take the gloves completely off and hammer these people without mercy. By just having him on, CNN has given this obviously dishonest, manipulative whack job credibility. Seriously Chris, it’s ok to use the word liar or charlatan to their faces.

  • Max_1
  • Cucker “Dick” Tarlson

I’m going to float this scenario — sorry for the long post, but please hear me out:

It doesn’t matter how many “millions” of “fraudulent” votes were cast. It doesn’t matter if they have proof or not. Many people are saying that election fraud is out of contol and MUST BE STOPPED. It’s a huge threat to our democracy and it must be dealt with IMMEDIATELY.

At present the present time, there are dozens of circuit and federal judgeships to be filled by all-republican government entities and a republican shitgibbon to sign off on them. During that black Muslim baby-killing atheist gay-marrying America-hating presidency, all his picks were blocked by true patriots (gag). Appointing them with God-fearing homo-haters will become a priority in the next few months, but it will happen quickly.

Further “investigation” by the new Attorney General, driven by the White House, will will be short and “proof” will be revealed later. And later. And later. In the meantime, special precautions will be implemented “until things are worked out” in states that were considered suspect in the 2016 election. States like California, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, New York, and Illinois (because gun violence is the same thing as voter fraud). Maybe Oregon and Massachusetts just for the hell of it.

In these “highly questionable” regions” early voting and absentee ballots will be suspended. All precincts will find a conservative-leaning “observers.” Voter ID will be mandated, with maybe TWO pieces of ID required: state-issued ID, and a certified copy of a birth certificate or valid naturalized citizen papers. Voters MUST sign a Declaration of Authenticity or face federal felony charges if their paperwork is suspected to be fraudulent.

To ensure more thorough inspection, the number of polls will be halved, especially in urban areas and predominantly ethnic neighborhoods. Hours may be shortened. Voters arriving in shuttles will not be admitted due to concerns about organized voter fraud.

Good luck trying to file suit against any of this. Most circuit and federal courts will likely refuse to hear any cases and appeals. It will take acts of Congress to turn things around.

And here’s the ultimate objective: Get this done and in place in time for the 2018 gubernatorial and senate elections.

TL;DR: Voters’ rights are headedto the wood chipper. We’re fucked yet again, but many Americans will go along with it because black and brown and libtards are terrorists and we need to stay safe.

  • Marides48

And this because tRUMP is so obsessed with the fact that a WOMAN won more popular votes.

  • rryan

How is this information obtained? We need facts, not alternative facts. Does he know the difference?

  • andrew

I’m still waiting for Trump to prove that Obama was born in Kenya. He had sent investigators to Kenya and said that they were finding out important things about that issue. That was years ago and Trump still hasn’t released that information. Maybe when he releases his tax returns we will find out. LOL. Frauds all of them.

  • mizzourah

They will fabricate information in order to “prove” all of their nutty conspiracy theories.

  • TampaDink

We have no doubt that there was voter fraud….otherwise Hillary would have won the electoral votes as well as more of the popular votes.

  • JCF

The evidence is coming soon . . . right after we get Trump’s tax returns! /s

  • Gianni

It won’t matter whatever the result. Trump is going to continue to bitch and whine about voter fraud, illegal voters, and absolutely none of those votes went to him. Even a complete and total lack of any evidence of this wholesale voter fraud nonsense won’t make any difference. This is in the madman’s head and it is going to keep rattling around in there and squirt out every now and then when he needs to reassure himself of how loved he is and to take the focus off something else that he has done that is bringing him flak. The man is a mental case.
