Singer R. Kelly Denies Inauguration Rumors

I laughed REALLY loud when I saw the headline AND the color of his tweet. The New York Daily News reports:

The world’s greatest won’t be gracing Donald Trump’s inauguration. R. Kelly struck down rumors that he’d be performing at the ceremony with a cheeky message Thursday. “Despite the rumors circulating online, R. Kelly will not be performing at this year’s inauguration ceremony,” read a message on a bright yellow background on the “Ignition” rapper’s Twitter. “Any reports stating otherwise are simply untrue.”

Those rumors, however, didn’t stem from the President-elect’s flimsy dance card after being turned down by countless celebrities. Instead, the stream of speculation came from unsubstantiated allegations that, in 2013, Trump paid Russian prostitutes to defile a Ritz-Carlton bed where President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama had previously stayed. R. Kelly faced similar allegations in 2002 when a video surfaced of him allegedly having sex with and urinating on an underage girl.
