Last week hate group leader Tony Perkins made national news when he declared that Trump must “ferret out” every pro-LGBT staffer in the State Department. Today he wants money to pressure Trump to destroy every pro-LGBT advance won during the Obama administration. He writes:
In almost one month, Donald Trump will become the 45th President of the United States. And 100 of the most important days in U.S. history will begin. At that moment, the radical Left — Planned Parenthood, the Human Rights Campaign, the ACLU, George Soros, Hollywood, and more — will launch into overdrive.
They will have one primary goal: Preserve every possible anti-Christian, anti-faith, anti-family executive order, law, regulation, and policy of their hero: outgoing President Barack Obama. It’s a deadly assumption to think they can’t succeed. That horrible possibility is why friends of FRC have offered a $250,000 Matching Grant to DOUBLE every gift to FRC’s year-end campaign.
With your support, FRC will offer expert advice to the Trump administration and Congress. And because of the respect we gained over the last 30 years — and during the campaign — we will have a voice on your behalf. What parts of the Obama legacy need to be overturned the first 100 days?
Getting rid of executive orders forcing schools and family businesses which contract with the government to allow men, who could be sexual predators, to use women’s and girls’ bathrooms, changing rooms, locker rooms, and even showers.
Getting rid of anti-religious freedom regulations in the military and federal agencies such as the Departments of Labor, Education, and Justice. Dozens of Obama regulations violate religious liberty and make Christians into second-class citizens.
Getting rid of Obamacare — with its attacks on the most vulnerable (sick, elderly, unborn) and threats to force faith-based health providers out of business.
Defunding Planned Parenthood, a criminal enterprise exposed as an abortion operation that peddled human body parts, making deadly deals over wine and salad at upscale restaurants.
