SECRETARY OF HATE: Pat McCrory To Meet With Trump

That didn’t take long. The Hill reports:

North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory (R) will meet with President-elect Donald Trump this week, two days after conceding a drawn-out gubernatorial race. Trump transition aide Sean Spicer told reporters that McCrory will meet with the president-elect in New York on Wednesday following Trump attending a transition fundraising breakfast. Spicer offered no additional details about the meeting.

McCrory conceded to Democrat Roy Cooper on Monday, nearly a month after the November general election, saying in a video that it’s “time to celebrate our Democratic process” and offering support for a smooth transition. McCrory has been a vocal supporter of Trump and joined him on the campaign trail when the businessman visited North Carolina.

As Trump gears up to take office on Jan. 20, he continues to build out his administration, tapping candidates for Cabinet posts and meeting with others for advice and guidance. He will be in the Tar Heel State on Tuesday night as he continues to crisscross the country on his “thank you” tour.
