SATURDAY: New Alliance Of Pro-Trump Nazi And White Supremacist Groups To Rally At Pennsylvania Capitol

Peter Montgomery reports at Right Wing Watch:

Hoping to build on the visibility and energy Trump has brought to their movement, a group of white nationalist leaders met in Georgia in April to try to overcome a history of personal and organizational rivalries and hammer out a new working partnership, which they called the Aryan National Alliance.

Since then, Matthew Heimbach of the Traditionalist Workers Party has been working to flesh out the group’s statement of principles to help “pro-White” groups work together more effectively to build a whites-only “ethno-state” in North America. A few days ago, Heimbach’s radio show featured “Commander” Jeff Schoep (pronounced “scoop”) from the National Socialist Movement and one of the leaders of the new unity movement.

Schoep announced that the Aryan National Alliance is changing its name to the Nationalist Front, and that its coming out party will be a rally at the Pennsylvania State Capitol in Harrisburg this Saturday, November 5. Schoep said a new organizational website will be launched before the event; the Traditionalist Workers Party’s propaganda director Jason Augustus, founder of the “Pro-European Metalcore” band “14 Sacred Words,” is developing the Nationalist Front’s new logo and graphics. The “14 words” refer to a white supremacist motto.

The Aryan National Alliance? That’s an “in-your-face” name if ever there was.

    • karen in kalifornia

And that’s why they are going to use “Nationalist Front” instead. Who can complain about that?

  • bkmn

Put the haterz in a circle, armed and let them take care of each other. They may form a temporary alliance but it will not last and it will not be pretty when it crumbles.

    • safari

Unfortunately that kind of backstabbing only happens after they rise to dominant power.

The damage your Republican candidate has done to your country is going to take decades to undo.
    See: Clusterfuck.

    • Matthew Delemos

Damage? You mean like drawing attention to the racism everyone denies exist? Or getting another democrat in the WH, and the first female Pres. besides? Or undermining the once strong religious fervor that gripped the nation? Bringing us the possibility of an actual democratic Congress?

      Guess I’m just an optimist.

      • NZArtist

No, I meant giving legitimacy to that racism. For making it ‘cool’ and ‘okay’ to be a racist, misogynistic, bigotted fucker. I mean the damage done by giving equal airtime to racist opinions and drawing equivalency between Trumps rhetoric and other politicians.
Sure, racism exists. But until the Trump campaign it wasn’t being paraded around prime-time news as something desirable.

Emboldening the racist bigots and misogynist. This is not acceptable behavior in society nor in the workplace.

      • Sporkfighter

Not quite. Trump has shown the potentially violent racist bigots that they are more numerous than they thought, that there are political parties and political leaders who will dance to their tune.

The bigots are armed and off the leash.

    • David L. Caster

Oddly, it is probably out of an abundance of caution that the focus on such things is muted to avoid the appearance of insulting voters.

I know, but yes that’s a real matter for concern. Remember the “basket of deplorables” thing and how that turned out? So, as odd as it may seem, calling attention to something like this would have to be done with care and subtlety.

Just shows how far things have gotten out of hand.

    Speaking of Gestapo tactics

The Republican National Committee, accused last week of scheming to suppress minority turnout on Election Day, was ordered to give Democratic leaders any evidence of deals with Donald Trump’s campaign for his supporters to stand watch at polling places.

That includes any written or verbal agreements relating to voter fraud, ballot security, poll watching and poll monitoring, U.S. District Judge John Michael Vazquez in Newark, New Jersey, said in a ruling on Monday. The Republican leadership has until Wednesday to comply with the order.

Vazquez also ordered the Trump campaign to submit affidavits explaining the basis for remarks made in recent months about ballot integrity and poll-watching by Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway and his running mate, Indiana Governor Mike Pence. The filings should include details about which precincts were being targeted and why, the judge ruled.

    http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2016-11-01/n-j-judge-orders-rnc-to-turn-over-trump-poll-watching-deals

    • bkmn

I hope someone has forwarded the Nevada GOP’s communications with the RNC. They were operating on direct commands from the RNC to poll watch and challenge voters.

  • TKW

They really have no sense of design.

    • David Walker

And where’s the confederate flag? You’d think they’d use that as the base and design out from there. Missed opportunity.

      • Veylon

Some of the white racists blame slaveowners for importing blacks Africa instead of paying working class whites a fair wage and muddying up America’s lily-white gene pool in the process. Remember, too, that Abe Lincoln wanted to send the slaves “back” to Africa and the Confederates wanted to keep them here.

    • RobynWatts

Apparently they’ve just “borrowed” a few designs from other flags and just threw it together. Repulsive flag for a repulsive group.

    • Dramphooey

That’s why they usually steal flags.

  • vorpal

They come out of the basket.

  • glass

Just when you thought the American flag couldn’t get any uglier, BAM!

    • David Walker

In truth, I’m surprised they didn’t incorporate the stars ‘n’ bars in it. I just thought that would be a given.

      • glass

I was perplexed as well. This is one of the weirdest flags I have even come across. Like a child’s untalented construction paper project. If these people are trying to invoke the “branding” that hitler used as a powerful symbol, they missed the mark by a galaxy or two.

Oyyy, dumb people in large crowds, always a bad thing. 🙁

    Confrontational Politics
    ——
    Confrontational Politics

“Confrontational Politics is a self-help manual for the serious political conservative. If the tired tactics of defeat and Pyrrhic victory are to be rolled back, and the allies of the good are to win, there are several important steps that need to be taken:

    1. Tactics:
    a. Do not respond to a liberal the way you are taught to respond to your superiors, even if they are your superior as your rep, or elder
    b. Be confrontational. Don’t let the years of your ethical training get in the way during a debate with a liberal.
    c. Know you enemy as well as yourself. Know what tricks they are going to pull and how to respond to them. Play ball with their tactics so that they don’t run roughshod over you.

    2. The enemy:
    a. Know who the enemy is, and how they hide under the title of “humanist” and other false images.
    b. Understand that you possess the truth and be unafraid to state it effectively, always understanding that the enemy is going to try and drown you in lies.
    c. Liberals will lie cheat and steal, the only rule with them that they cannot break, is that they cannot get caught.
    d. There is no overarching ethical code for the liberal, they will use morality to suit their purposes and then dispose of it when the need arises.

    3. Conflict:
    a. Conflict should be expected, welcomed, and analyzed and used to forward my goal.
    b. Don’t misread the liberal agenda, they advance so that they can win by retreating. Tradis often sigh with relief when they get liberals to stop an advance and thus contribute to the problem by not playing their own advanced game.
    c. We are on the opposite polls of life, either we win or they win, there is no middle ground on the issues that matter most to the minds and hearts of Americans.

    4. Organization:
    a. There are several important criteria for any “front group” to exist:
    i. Sizable universe of followers
ii. A hardened core of trained leaders and spokespersons
iii. Sufficient pool of seed money
iv. Ongoing fulltime management to keep propaganda in front of the people.
    v. Media outlets useful for rallying the public.
    b. The Liberal only backs off when he needs to, he retreats only when necessary.
    c. The most common method of advance is when the Liberal after pushing for hard left programs suddenly takes a step dialectically backwards, at this moment the Conservatives must continue to press and keep on the heat.

    5. The Power of One:
    a. A small core team of committed and organized individuals is far more effective than an unwieldy and large organization. Find 10 individuals train them very well, and then have them run their own spheres so that you can be the most effective as a coordinator.
    b. Less than 5% of registered voters actually participate in the fabric of the political process, these individuals get to decide who votes because they decide who the candidates will be.
    c. Organized minorities always elected those in power, not the majorities.
    d. Congressional Election Breakdown
    i. Constituents: 600,000
    ii. Eligible to Register: 400,000
    iii. Actually Registered: 235,000
    iv. Primary Election turnout: 120,000
    v. Republican ballots cast: 70,000
vi. Winner received: 16,000 (considered a land slide)
    e. People do leave the rest of their ballots blank when they go to vote, it is an unfortunate reality, keep those who you want to vote informed and not the enemy.
    f. Money, Management, Manpower, and Moxie (knowing when and where).
    g. Pound the data to figure out what can be ascertained in regard to who should be talked to.
    h. Liberals win by systematically and methodically organizing segments of the population to vote for single issues, that is what we must do.

    6. Public Opinion:
    a. Public opinion is often manufactured to set the state for political action on the left, don’t find comfort in poll numbers, it will never be there.
    b. Poll numbers can be useful but only in the last few weeks of the election, January excitement cannot often last until December
    c. You will never win running a direct campaign.
    d. The persistent voters have leverage: their one ballot counts for as many as five non-votes.
    e. Knowing when to leverage is also leveraging
    f. Politics is a world where perceptions become reality.

    7. Hot Button Issues (HB):
    a. People by nature are divided by issues, not by class, use this.
    b. Yellow dogs should be fed the scraps they need to vote accordingly, don’t feed their yellow dogs.
    c. Turn out the HB voters even if their issue is of no concern to your campaign directly.
    d. Play the game of categorizing people and then win at it.
    e. Knowledge is power if translated into behavior
    f. When it comes to coordinating with other groups, understand the enemy of my enemy paradigm.

    8. Leftist Dems and “moderate” Reps pass Liberal agendas:
    a. Frame your issues in the best light to avoid giving the left free ammo against you.
    b. Elect candidates on issues other than their own, you goals are and will be supported in such a coalition.
    c. The sophistication of a political organization is measured in how many candidates it gets elected on other issues.
    d. Do not betray your principles, simply analyze the audience, and turn your brain on before your mouth.

    9. Confronting Lawmakers:
    a. The welfare business will flood the capital with old people in wheel chairs on the day that the budget is being discussed if they want to be represented successfully.
    b. Third party advertising keeps the candidate clean and not proud looking
    c. Don’t waste time fighting against the entire Dem party, or against liberalism, pick one topic and fight at it long term, and effectively.

    10. Accountability:
    a. If you support any candidate in office, make your presence known.
    b. Don’t trust in the non-experience of a candidate, people will always pick the man or woman with more legislative experience.
    c. Burn the tails off anyone who steps out of line on your issue, so that when there are defectors, you scare off other weak candidates.
    d. Debate is for public consumption, don’t watch it and get riled up.
    e. Actions speak louder than words
    f. Be a giver of ulcers not a receiver.

    11. Attitude:
    a. Don’t hang out with losers. One-Downmanship is the ultimate way to loose in a campaign, and feel depressed while you are doing it.
    b. You need to believe that you are going to win, mentally see the win every day.
    c. Don’t watch the enemy 24/7, make him watch you, be the center of his world and his focus, don’t let him be yours
    d. Animosity and Ad Hominem attacks are the surest sign of imminent victory.
    e. Be the smiling confident Conservative who won’t let himself be bogged down even when he is on the defensive, pretend through the pain, the smile will save you time in fighting.
    f. Inflict pain and profit on who support or oppose you.
    g. Third party candidates are for the unsophisticated and politically gullible.”

I get the feeling the Tiffany actually gets it. I mean being from the middle mother can’t be easy and I’m sure as an outsider, she probably has a very different perspective on things. At least she’s smart enough to avoid being a public spectacle to the same extent as her older siblings. Barron? He’s a boy being raised in the middle of a bunch of sexist, misogynistic, corrupt, power and money hungry men. I wish the little boy luck but I don’t hold out much hope for him. Certainly now when he has a Lithuanian Rapunzel for a mother.

Don’t get me wrong, there are people like Katy Tur that do the hard work, but overall the emphasis has been surrogate tongue wagging. They’ve served as the armor for Trump’s insanity at his rallies. They insulated him from scrutiny.

Nobody counts Hawaii. If it comes down to Hawaii’s EVs, we are in some seriously deep shit.

      It’s getting that bad, huh?

  • EweTaw

Bill_Perdue will most certainly be there. 🙂

    • ultragreen

      No, he won’t.

  • Treant

OT, Kinda: I did get a “nice” call from a Republican operative–in a house with two registered Democrats. Apparently, Trump will single-handedly rescind NAFTA and stop any new trade agreements, single-handedly making our nation a powerhouse of new jobs.

Welp, I’m sold. It was nice while it lasted, guys, but I’m now a Trump supporter! (/s)

Actually, I told him I was undecided. Hopefully they’ll call me back several times and waste five minutes per call on a voter who does not buy what they’re selling.

    • Cackalaquiano

Actually, that’s a great way to help our side! Waste the time of the phone bankers! And screw up their data since they’ll enter you in some database somewhere and next cycle send fools to your house. I just don’t know that I can hold it together enough – I’ll start cussing or something.

    • Stubenville

I believe the yarn he’s spinning is called magical thinking.

So what kind of chaos would rolling back NAFTA cause business, and how badly would it roil the economy?

  • Robert Conner

Wow! Trump is really making America great again!

Good luck with your whites-only ethno-state. And, I wish you even more luck in your attempts to understand terms like ” ethnicity” and ” race.” and ” state” and “nation. I’m sure you’ll learn the differences by the time the United States becomes a majority-minority country.

  • These folks are just like Baptists — I bet within 4 months there’s a splinter group called the True Aryan National Alliance.

    • Treant

And the Aryan True Alliance, National.

      Splitters!

  • greenmanTN

This is so disheartening, to see these people coming out of the woodwork (and WE are the “termites”?!) so openly and rallying around Trump. I never thought I’d see this and I really didn’t want to.

  • Ninja0980

I will likely be taking a break the next few days as well.
I know what pundits on the left are saying and how some polls aren’t shifting but let’s be real here, Comey doing what he did has hurt Hillary and put our chances to take the Senate back in peril.
Throw in the fact the media doesn’t care what he does or says, eagerly reports on everything WikiLeaks does, won’t talk about the voter suppression going on in WI,OH,NC etc. and I fear next Tuesday will see Republicans keeping control of the Senate but Trump taking the White House.
I hope all of my bedwetting and freaking out will be for nothing.

    • Treant

I hear ya. I’m reaching burnout.

Mostly, I’m convinced Hillary will win the Presidency with 300+ EVs, but that the Senate is now in peril of remaining Republican. The House is already lost.

      • Ninja0980

The House was never in play.. the Senate was always the thing we needed to win and I fear Comey just put it out of play.

      • Ninja0980

One more thing.. if I have to hear from my Berniebot cousin or someone else one more time about how we should have picked him.. I’ll go nuts.
No way in hell could Bernie handle all the mud that would be thrown his way, no way at all.

        • Treant

Bernie could barely start a half-assed political group that disappeared almost immediately, much less actually get off his ass and campaign effectively.

There was no Universe in which Bernie would have won, he was falling apart before the Acela Primaries when I, along with millions of Pennsylvanians, drove another nail into his political coffin.

His is not a name I care if I ever hear again.

          • ultragreen

You picked a deeply flawed candidate, like Clinton, who is having difficulty defeating Trump, the weakest of all Republican candidates: this tells me that you are without sound judgment on this matter, and always have been.

          • Ninja0980

And yet he dragged it on until the end when he knew he had no chance of winning.
He is trying to make up for it now but the damage he did is far greater then anything WikiLeaks did.

    • ultragreen

To avoid all of this stress, you should have supported Sanders during the primary. You’ve made your own bed, now be prepared to lie down on it.

No, but I suggest wearing steel underwear that locks.

Unless you like squealing like a pig, that is. If so, have at.

      • TrollopeReader

        well that’s colorful !

        • Treant

          So are they.

    • Todd20036

No, but you might need your shots

  • Treant

The more I think about this, the more I think it’s a great idea, actually.

Let’s get these delightful rogues out on the streets, chanting their cheery little slogans and carrying their Trump signs. Let’s all watch the breathlessly positive coverage the Channel 10 News Team gives this in Philadelphia.

Then let’s all wait until Tuesday and watch Trump’s Hispanic supporters not vote–or better yet, vote for Clinton.

I’d say African-American Trump supporters, but there are only three of those anyway.

  • Nic Peterson

Trump media is totally going to own this demographic, squeeze it completely dry and toss it to the side of the road to hell.

  • Jerry Hinnant

I have heard that the vote is getting pretty tight because African Americans are not turning out to vote like they did when Obama ran! Perhaps someone should share this with them! Unless they want the whole country to become the Old South they better start running to the polls!

    • Bruno

Or maybe people of all races should get out and vote.

      • Jerry Hinnant

I agree but I was just commenting on them because most are typically strong Democrats and their numbers are down.

        • Lazycrockett

The DNC seems to have dropped the ball with the AA community in Florida, even Joy Reid thinks so. Hopefully the large turn out of the Hispanic vote will be pro Hillary.

        • Bruno

It’s likely a combo of “Hillary’s got this” and “Hillary’s not as exciting as Obama.” I just hope that doesn’t happen on Election Day.

      • Michael R

Trump has NO black support and we need the votes , also women do not like Trump , if only men voted Trump would easily win .

  • JaniceInToronto

The world is watching you. You’re not looking too good right now.
Get out and vote. Get your friends and neighbors and family to vote.
    This one is important.

    • ultragreen

As a country, the USA has been going downhill since the 1970s. I don’t think we’ve reached bottom yet, either.

      • safari

Incomes have been stable but not increasing since then. Debt is probably the major problem. It’s what’s keeping the current young adults from moving out and starting a family. That and we don’t need full time employees as much as we used to. Productivity gains and a global economy have caused that.

  • NancyP

I see this as the boil that is just about to drain itself.
These aren’t (at the moment) effective terror organizations, as was the KKK.
Most of the boys belonging to the white supremacy movement aren’t about to risk being sent to jail for 20 to life (or death, depending on the state). They just want to wear fancy costumes, wave offensive flags, and do the 12 ounce curl, perhaps followed by a wank.
I remember a few years ago the KKK put up a cross (non-burning) at the main town square (Fountain Square) in Cincinnati Ohio. I understand that some people made a special trip downtown with their dogs to have a little marking-fest.

Which is why Hillary is going to MI and having others campaign in WI this week.
Lock it down because some states like AZ and GA were slipping away because of the ACA increases and that was before Comey did what he did.

      • Lazycrockett

Securing your home turf is always a good idea no matter how the Meida tries to portray it.

        • Ninja0980

Yup, Obama went to WI and PA in 12, and PA in 08.

          • Bruno

It’s silly for anyone to think she shouldn’t be going to her most fragile states. Sure, if she were ever up an average of 15 in Wisconsin…but she never has been. It’s been more like 5-7 points there and in MI an PA too. NM hasn’t been polled enough. They should all be fine if she nails them down, I think tRump switching to MI, WI & NM is more a sign that he’s giving up on the PA PA PA strategy.

        • Ninja0980

Indeed and since Trump is putting out ads there, would be stupid not to respond, especially when you have the $$$

The MSM should interview some of them to explain to the world why they are supporting Trump.

    • DaddyRay

The MSM shouldn’t be covering them at all – their opinion or views do not matter to me in the slightest

      • ultragreen

I don’t agree. If such racist groups support Trump, then we should reveal to everyone what America could turn into under Trump. Perhaps that would give some voters second thoughts about Trump.

  • LookielouE1707

There are Trump rallies all the time, I don’t see how this is so unusual.

      • MaryOGrady

I agree. The time for complacency is never.

    • Bruno

I like their analysis, and hope it’s correct. At the same time, however, that means this race has always been at least somewhat competitive and still is. And that’s still scary.

      • MaryOGrady

It’s also a terrible commentary on our country.

      • John30013

Well, Clinton’s camp has always claimed it was going to be competitive, and that wasn’t just to motivate their voters. They have a very good data operation (much better than Trump’s).

          • Bruno

The “kid vote” tends to pick the eventual winner.

“Since 1940, the results of the student vote have usually mirrored the outcome of the presidential election. In fact, Scholastic readers have been wrong only twice. In 1948, kids picked Thomas E. Dewey over President Harry S. Truman. And in 1960, more students voted for Richard M. Nixon than for the eventual president, John F. Kennedy.”

It’s as meaningless as the “Halloween mask sales” metric, but it does leave one optimistic for the future.

      • SoCalGal20

They’ve picked correctly all but twice since 1940. The kids are alright. 🙂

This doesn’t surprise me at all. We have our ear to the ground and know how the underbelly of Pennsylvania works.
Our stalking neighbor has given me the Right One arm salute, caught on film. There has been an up tick in the stars and stripes displayed recently which we believe is a message. The display on his mailbox of 3 flags is novel to say the least. My partner saw him parading around in Lederhosen years ago trying to get his attention. He has driven by our home on his ATV with 2 large American Flags on the rear.
Do you think he is sending us a Message? We will just have to see if he is around this weekend.
There has been a serious uptick of manic gunfire near our home this week. On Monday, there was gunfire near our shared property line which we believe were being bated to investigate. We recorded it but feel it is too dangerous to investigate by getting close to see who is actually firing the gun. We could be murdered and our local police would spin it that we brought it on ourselves.

They are out there and in many cases have the support of the community and local Government. White Privilege is on life support and they know it.

    • NZArtist

You be amazed if you saw the cyber trail we have. William Way blew me off. Equality Pa. doesn’t give a shit. I even invited the Chair of a local LGBT organization to our home to witness the circumstance and she declined the invitation. I even had a past Chair of Equality Pa. to my home ( he picked up a donation I was making for a fund raiser), showed him the bullet holes and he offered nothing on record.

Thanks, we have become very knowledgable in home security. We just don’t have confidence in the system that if anything did happen, the police would bury evidence. Have you given thought to the ACLU?? Also, if there are ANY signs of White Supremacy/Nazism, try some local Jewish Organizations. (You do not, necessarily, have to be Jewish for them to take notice.) Try the Anti-Defamation League and see what advice they have for you and who they might send you to.

          • Jerry Kott

Thanks, I don’t want to get into any details on a public site for a reason of the attempts we have made to garner support.

Thank you , we tried it before and received no reply from several groups. We had Pentagrams chalked on the drive to our home and the local police department believe that Pentagrams are the “Star of David”. Wouldn’t having a Star of David scrawled on your dive be alarming enough? Isn’t that what the Nazis did to mark Jewish properties?

When we use to report crimes, the police, when they arrived, could barely control their smirks from exploding into laughter.

        • Falconlights

Wow, that’s awful! Glad you aren’t taking the bait. I hope you stay safe. Sadly, some parts of the country ARE pretty much Nazi Germany reincarnate.

          • Jerry Kott

We have had a camera stolen from our US Postal service rural mailbox. We also had been missing mail. The motion activate wildlife camera was there as a deterrent . We discovered a Mailbox alert that I highly recommend. Our mailbox would be opened to harass us at night. We notified the police by email that when the alert is activated, we will investigate the alert, day or night. On a Friday night, it was activated and we went to investigate. It could be activated by the box being vandalized. We told the police that we would do this just in case our neighbor makes a claim of prowling or something similar. We went to investigate, our neighbor was waiting in the dark for us, we had some words, all recorded on body cam. Our neighbor told us that there are cameras everywhere, pointing to the sky? I said “good”. An hour later, the Police show up at our home. The neighbor baited us and he calls the police which we predicted. We told the police that our neighbor is free to file charges if he choose. But we told the officer that we will go to court with all the dash board cams of he calling us “fuck wads” shit fags, “sally”, “assholes”etc,as we pass his home.
The police know how unstable these neighbors are but we believe these neighbors have shit of the cops.
Pennsylvania is a very corrupt state.

    • Skeptical_Inquirer

Maybe you should do a video series/diary about the kind of crap going down. You don’t have to upload it now but at the very least, you should have stuff on hand. At the very least, it’ll show the other guy is batshit and that the cops ignoring you are tools. If the other neighbors find him creepy as hell, maybe they can vid this guy too.

      • Jerry Kott

This blog http://str8jacquet.blogspot.com/ was created years ago for that reason. We document, but I have not updated entries in the past year but we still document. We have body cams that we wear to get our mail and have a dashboard cam.
We are getting the impression that his allies in the hood are distancing themselves. The Police think this is funny.

        • Skeptical_Inquirer

Perhaps you should show all this to a lawyer or even the ACLU? Just brainstorming.

Holy cow, Hillary is coming to Vegas tomorrow and Bill Clinton is coming on Thursday! I can’t go to the rally tomorrow (RATS!), but I’m going to the one on Thursday for sure.

    Okay, back to data entry.

People are freaking out about that and saying internal polls must be bad.
        I say it’s smart.
If you know you have votes shored up elsewhere, go to a place your enemy is making a play for and shut the door for good.

        • SoCalGal20

Yeah, I don’t think it’s because the polling is bad but to get people motivated and excited to vote.

Long story short, a friend of mine on April Fools day two years ago announced over beers that she suddenly realized that she though she’d been fooled because a radio show had announced that the Toronto Zoo was offering Panda Parties. For a fee, they’d bring a panda to your home, and if you paid extra, it would stay overnight. We all burst out laughing and said “have you seen the claws on those things?” An hour later, she slammed down her phone and announced “ok, so there is no pandaparty.com site”. This year, for her birthday, I brought her birthday cake into the room wearing a panda costume. She almost peed herself. 🙂

Did anyone just see that incredible interview with Bill Weld, the libertarian candidate for VP?

I mean, there’s no way I’d vote libertarian, given Johnson’s complete ineptitude, and the seemingly disunity between the men at the top of the ticket, but Weld says he fears for our country if the dumpster is elected, and he gave Clinton a nice endorsement.

    • Skeptical_Inquirer

I got a vibe that Weld was the smarter and more with it of that particular ticket.

Hillary is winning 28% of republican early voters.

I’m registered independent (have never changed it from years ago).

          • Bruno

The 1st part shouldn’t be too much of a surprise. Florida has one of the oldest electorates in the country, and absentee voting is very common with them. And they are very commonly Rethuglican.

        • Northern Florida is called LA- Lower Alabama — and people in the South who are registered Democrats may like Trump — its a whole different world from South Florida which is Clinton Country. I am in Palm Beach County and this place will go 3-1 for Hillary, along with Broward (Fort Lauderdale) and Dade (Miami) — South Florida is the Democratic Party stronghold in Florida.

          • Talisman

I grew up in AL. This is a state that thinks that continuously electing Republicans is going to change the wasteland that is the jobs market. Just because they claim to be god-fearin’.

          • Alabama is one of 9 states I have never been to, I actually would like to visit there. Around Huntsville maybe. I’m sure its pretty in late October / November when the trees change.

          • Reality.Bites

Do they still change that early that far south? Seems like thats when they change up here now.

          • They even change in very northern Florida — yes. .Around mid November. Not here in Palm beach though 🙂 https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/037bc762e7f46ed5ee27c9a39fb0b7356b9d1307a5ae93ef6bbbc7cfde466358.jpg

          • Talisman

Birmingham might also be worth visiting. It has a pretty vibrant music scene, attracts a number of broadway shows, and has a decent museum. There are probably a number of historical sites, as well (and not just from the era of Civil Rights).

Tuscaloosa has a lot of antebellum and historic sites. I enjoyed living there, even if I didn’t have the money to do much at the time.

The Florence/Muscle Shoals/Tuscumbia/Sheffield area might be interesting to visit. Muscle Shoals was a huge music area for a long time – pretty much everyone who is anyone in the music industry recorded there: Aretha, The Rolling Stones, Dylan…It might me worth visiting. I’ve heard that many famous people go there quite often to perform new material in the various clubs. This is also where Helen Keller grew up.

Mobile is supposedly a pretty cool place too – it’s a blend of Spanish, French, and Southern heritage, and hosts it’s own, less-famous Mardi-Gras. Gulf Shores beaches are not far away, and there’s supposedly a number of cultural activities at any given time. Mobile is one of the largest ports on the gulf, btw, so it’s a more international city.

Then there’s the capital, Montgomery. About the only thing I know about it is that it has the Shakespeare Festival, which is one of the largest events of it’s kind. They frequently host productions of Shakespeare’s plays, and have other Shakespeare/Renaissance activities. I went to a horrendous production of Hamlet in the 90’s, so I might not be the best person to ask about that particular event :P.

I don’t know much about Huntsville, other than the Space and Rocket Center. I am looking to maybe relocate there if I can find a job.

          • Thanks! I am a bit college football fan so I would like to visit Tuscaloosa and see where Bama plays!

          • Talisman

I spend 2 years in Tuscaloosa, and lived just down 10th avenue from the stadium. I could hear the games on gameday.

I never attended a single game while I was there (post-Bear era – I can’t even remember who was head coach at the time). I did work at the Pizza Hut on 15th street briefly, and gameday was always a circus.

UA campus is pretty neat, and the strip down University has a lot going on (but most tuned to the youg’uns). The only gay bar in town was Michael’s, and it was the first bar (much less gay bar) that I ever went in (I was a late bloomer, not just in being gay, but just being).

          • Raybob

Not this year: severe drought 🙁

          • Bruno

I think the I-4 corridor will swing it, right?

          • Yeahl, traditionally that region decides how Florida goes and 150,000 – 200,000 people from Puerto Rico have moved there in the past 4 years. They are solid Democrats. Polk County near Tampa may go Democratic for the first time (I read somewhere).

          • Bruno

I’m glad the Hispanic vote seems to be activated in Florida and elsewhere. Could really make the difference.

          • Puerto Rican community votes in high numbers — in New York and other places. They are, of course, American citizens at birth.

      • Sam_Handwich

where did that number come from?

        • Lazycrockett

MSNBC is reporting on a report that will come out tomorrow by target something or other research.

    • Michael Smith

The tweet thread I linked to earlier also implied that she has a lead down there

    • Yay!!!!!!!! 28% of Republican early voters are voting for Hillary!

      • Lazycrockett

The guy seems to be saying that there is gonna be a lot of republicans crossing over to Hillary nationally.

        • Also remember — something like 40% of all Floridians have voted already. We started voting three weeks ago by mail (I mailed my ballot in last weekend) and two weeks ago at the voting booth.

          • Lazycrockett

If the margin holds we may know non officially who won the state before the election.

    • Ninja0980

If that’s true, might explain why Hillary is going to MI this Friday.
To ensure Trump can’t gain an inch there.

      • Michael Smith

Technically if she wins FL she could lose MI. My guess is she’s going there just for insurance and possibly to help down ballot.

        • Lazycrockett

Doesn’t matter if she wins Florida Drumpf is Toast.

    • Lazycrockett

53% for Hillary in the early vote in Florida.

      • Lazycrockett

  • Also on Rachel Maddow William Weld basically told people in close states to vote for Hillary — he endorsed her by saying she would make a great Presiden, she had great character, t and when Rachel asked him point blank if he thought that people should chose Hillary or Gary for President William Weld said Hillary— but that he was voting for himself and the Libertarian ticket. He feared an America with President Trump. He also said he didn’t agree with Gary Johnson on everything.

I don’t follow sportsball, but this world series has broached even my awareness. I’d like to see the Cubs win.

If for no other reason that to have the fans shut up.

        • John30013

Nor do I (follow sportsball), but I have friends and work acquaintances in Chicago, and the Cubs are long overdue for a World Series win. (Plus they have some real hotties on the team!)

  • Talisman

The Florida news is from TargetSmart. They basically did an exit interview with early voters. Lawrence was interviewing Tom Bonier from the firm.

  • TK

OT: I just heard a story on NPR about the Hispanic vote this election. They said something we’ve all known for a while now and that is that it’s going to benefit Hillary. The problem is a majority of the Hispanic vote is already in blue states. However, the one place it’s really going to help her is in Florida. That’s the one state where the Hispanic vote is really going to drive it home for her.

    • Sam_Handwich

hopefully in AZ and NV too

    • SoCalGal20

It’s not all there, though. It’s helping in NV, AZ, and TX and probably some other places.

      • Hank

From what I am hearing on MSNBC during the day, the Hispanics in Maricopa County are coming out strongly!

      • TK

They acknowledge that, but their main point was how beneficial it is going to be in a state like Florida which might be an important state for the electoral college. The vote in states like Nevada, Arizona and Texas may actually help to pull out big surprises. And more even more beneficial would be the help that the Hispanic vote gives down ticket in red states.

      • moebym

I’ve heard great things about Harry Reid’s GOTV machine and its ability to turn out Hispanics, so I’m confident that NV will go blue.

  • Ninja0980

    How accurate is this poll?
    Hate to be celebrating prematurely…

    • Hank

I believe they are doing post voting poling of the early voters in FL

      • thom

it’s a standard poll including early voters. they found that people voting on election day are split evenly between hrc and djt

        • Bruno

Which is pretty good if she’s really banking so much early vote. Florida is the one state where enough conservative older voters live that can put early voting totals in question for Dems. I really really hope this poll is accurate, but I’m not holding my breath yet.

          • Ninja0980

I’m not either, especially in light of Comeygate.
Someone did note the W DUI story didn’t get dropped until the weekend before the election so it’s possible Clinton and company are timing this as to drop it as the same time WikiLeaks unleashes whatever major surprise they claim to have.

    • Bruno

Don’t celebrate, hope. No way to know if this particular poll is accurate or not. I’ve never heard of the pollster, but it doesn’t mean they’re wrong.

      • Ninja0980

Just saying there have been crazy polls for Trump today as well, especially in NC.

        • Bruno

I think that NC poll is just wrong right off the bat. tRump +23 with men and Hillary only +7 with women. No way. If she loses NC, it’ll be by 1 or 2. I’m a little concerned in that state with the suppression of the AA vote, despite court rulings. But hopefully the other polls are telling the truth and she’ll win by 1-3 or even more.

    • thom

obama campaign staffer who helped him win FL twice is calling bullshit 🙁

      • Ninja0980

Figured it was too good to be true.
On the other hand, he also wants to make sure our base doesn’t stay home.
Thinking it’s in the bag already will do that.

  • Blake J Butler

Is anyone paying attention to Lawrence O’Donnell and the report about 28% of GOP voters that voted early voted for Clinton according to a Florida survey.

    • Hank

We are all listening now! 😉

    • SoCalGal20

So have the polls been undercounting the number of Rs who are voting Dem this time around? How does that number compare with the FL polling up to now?

      • Talisman

Maybe a reverse Bradley Effect? The republicans claim to be loyal, but defect when it comes time to push the button.

        • thom

doubt those people would have admitted it afterwards to a pollster though

          • Bruno

Right. If they’re lying, it’s the other way around. Voted for tRump but ashamed to admit it.

      • Blake J Butler

Hey, you can say one thing in front of the camera and your family and friends, and do a completely different thing behind the tablet or what you marked on your paper ballot to be sent off with regards to republicans.

Maybe people have been saying one thing but doing another with regards to Trump Vs. Hillary.

      • Hank

Apparently from the Polster being interviewed, they are crossing over for Hillary, but staying with the Rethuglicans in down ballot, sadly

        • Bruno

Well, I’ll take it. It’s better than straight R.

          • Hank

Unfortunately, living in FL we need to be able to break the Rethuglican stranglehold on our State Government!!! We are now, the Third most populous state!! No longer do I want Skeletor or Bondi in charge!!!

          • Skeptical_Inquirer

I’d be happy if they could get rid of the laziest Senator who ever bitched about his job.

          • Talisman

When does he find the time to complain in between the foam parties?

          • Bruno

You know what I think the truth is? In a swing state, it depends on who’s in power in Washington. Until there’s a Rethug president who fucks things up like Bush, Florida will probably remain a Rethug stronghold. Dems just don’t get motivated to vote in state elections when there’s a Dem POTUS.

          • Ninja0980

            Indeed, that’s the problem.
For Democrats to have a 06-08 Republican wipeout, Republicans have to be in the White House.

          • Bruno

            Totally reactionary country now.

          • Ninja0980

Yup.. been that way since the St. Ronnie days.

          • Bruno

Started with Nixon I think. Though actually, those landslide Rethuglican elections showed that at least people crossed the aisle more then. Even if it was only in one direction.

          • Ninja0980

Means the State Party has to step up and get better candidates.

AND if Trump thinks the early Republican voters are voting for him, he’s in for a big unpleasant surprise. MSNBC reporting right now a survey showing that 28% of Republican early voters in Florida have voted for Clinton.

      • Bruno

It’s just one poll though. Could be an outlier.

        • ShawnSwagger

It’s not a poll. It’s a survey of people who have already voted.

However, you’re right that there have previously been cases where one candidate won the early voting and another candidate ended up winning the total vote. Happened in North Carolina last time.

          • Bruno

I heard it was a poll that included early voters, who they asked further questions of. Do you have a link to the poll/survey itself? Haven’t seen one posted here but I may have missed it.

          • ShawnSwagger

It was done by TargetSmart, but they either don’t have it up on their website yet or else I can’t navigate their webpage to find it.

          • TrollopeReader

it’s supposed to be released tomorrow … O’Donnell got the live scoop, though ….

          • Bruno
          • thom

they’re just releasing the toplines tonight and more info in the morning. but so far…

            FL poll: HRC 48 – DJT 40
Early voters from FL Secretary of State: 55 – 38
            Likely voters, haven’t voted yet: 42 – 43

          • thom

sounds like they confirmed the early voters that responded had indeed voted already. hence the FL SoS note

        • kevin vincent

it’s from people who early voted it’s defenitly possible that Republican Women and Cubans are defecting for Clinton but remaining on Rubio which the survey attests to

    • DaddyRay

When the people get out and vote – Democrats win

    • Lazycrockett

I like these numbers, cause DEMS tend to vote a lot more early than republicans.

      • TrollopeReader

and TX is way higher, too.

        • ShawnSwagger

The early data from Texas looks very good, but I will be overjoyed and surprised if it’s enough to flip the state. But even if it just enough to make it really close, maybe with a count late into the night, I will smile thinking of all the soiled Republican underwear in Texas.

      • ShawnSwagger

Not everywhere. I just read this morning that at least one of the swing states this year has had more Republicans early vote than Democrats, but I can’t remember which one. Might be Ohio.

        • Lazycrockett

Ohio demographically is becoming less and less important. Its becoming an old white dying state.

    • Cackalaquiano

Damn, Republicans are gonna need some new voter disenfranchisement tactics.

  • ShawnSwagger

OT – Just being reported now by MSNBC. A survey of early Florida voters shows 28% of bRepublicans who have voted so far have voted for Clinton. If this holds up, it will be a wipeout.

  • bob

Donald might lose FL , but he still has the kkk !

  • Dreaming Vertebrate

Ever notice how these pro-white racial supremacists all look like they have countless genetic mutations and several missing chromosones?? They really need to be neutered for the benefit of the race.

    • Skeptical_Inquirer

For people who keep insisting they are so superior, they should be able to jump over any hurdle and be millionaire CEOs/scientists/Olympians instead of constantly blaming any and all competition that they’re not doing so hot.

  • TuuxKabin

    Somebody call wardrobe.

  • Stubenville

I hope there are no counter-protests and a huge scrum of media, filming endless footage of these fascists goose-stepping around Harrisburg, just in time for the Monday news programs.

  • moebym

Steve Schale, who was heavily involved in both of Obama’s campaigns and played an important role each time in winning Florida, says the new poll doesn’t reflect reality. He says it’s a much closer race.

I hate to say it, but I’ll have to go with his opinion, since he seems to know the state better than anyone else.

FBI releases Bill Clinton closed case files days before vote
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/fbi-releases-bill-clinton-closed-case-files-days-232844166.html

    • The FBI involvement in a United States presidential election is unprecedented. Something is going on. Just too many odd coincidences. Th FBI debunks trump’s russian server within 5 minutes, yet the comey letter and the 650,000 not hillary’s emails is on every news channel.

      • Ninja0980

Republicans agents upset Comey didn’t recommend charges against Hillary now getting their revenge.

        • Skeptical_Inquirer

What I always want to say to Republicans who insist on cheating and gaming the system is that “If your philosophy is so freaking superior, why the hell do you have act like con men to sell it?”

          • Falconlights

That’s a damn good question and one that needs to be asked more often.

      • DaddyRay

Some house cleaning is certainly in order

      • Talisman

And the media is focused on Hill’s email, with barely a word about the Putin-Russian Manchurian candidate.

They are doing everything possible to turn this into a horse race.

I’m kind of at the point where I think every single one of them should be arrested for treason.

        • Falconlights

That would work for me, too. Maybe they think they’ll be the New Gestapo if Trump wins? Sorry, boys, but I think DHS has that sewn up.

    • Cuberly

Yeah, it’s been a lot of nothing. And the official FBI line is, it was part of an FOIA request. And the FBI ignores the fact the release notification was via a defunct FBI twitter account. Yeah, it’s MESSED up.

  • houstonray

We early voted today…lots of people in line, many minorities and young people, that gives me some hope. We might not turn Texas blue, but we’re damn sure trying!

          • Falconlights

I’m going to get some “Are You Being Served” tomorrow. They make me laugh. Play that and some Monty Python on Election Day.

          • William

A few others worth watching are “Cucumber”, about a gay male couple; “Benidorm”, about British people on holiday in Spain, “Fleabag”, about a woman’s difficulties finding and keeping relationships; and “Mum”, about a widow going on after the death of her husband.

          • Porkie

Sarandon has sort of become the Jon Voight of the far left.

And I still love her, her work and her passion. I just can’t and don’t have the resources at my disposal to be that far far far comfortably left.

      • Bruno

I’ll always love her in a few roles but I definitely can’t say I love her in any way anymore. She’s basically a selfish, rich bitch, regardless of ideology.

        • Cuberly

I appreciate passion. Even when it’s rather misguided.

I tend to take most “celebrity” opinions as meh.

I still like Sarandon’s work, even Jon Voight’s.

          • Bruno

I can separate the work from the person. That said, she hasn’t been doing much that I find worthy lately. Though I heard a few good things about “The Meddler,” and she was decent I suppose on “The Big C” a few years back.

      • At least Jon Voight knows he’s a bigot.

    • She is an enemy of LGBT people

    • Bruno

Not really shocking. I guess she’s OK with a candidate having corporate investments in Big Oil among others as long as it’s not Hillary Clinton.

    • Michael Smith

That might earn Stein a grand total of six votes.

    • Ninja0980

    • Lazycrockett

Whats the 49% compared to 2012 with the black vote? Cause MSNBC was making a big stink today bout Hillary losing the black vote.

    • Michael Smith

That Hispanic number is very reassuring if it’s accurate. I hope the surge counties all the way to election day.

      • Lazycrockett

If that is true the GOP has lost the Hispanic vote for decades.

less than a week to go, polls tightening, dems getting nervous. you think Hillary is cutting anvad right now featuring Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George H W Bush, George W Bush, Obama, Madeline Albright, Henry Kissenger, Condi Rice, Collin Powell all talking about how dangerous trump really is?

Clinton’s not winning 28% of registered Republican early voters in Florida. Just saying.

    @natecohn -NYT polling guru

    • Ninja0980

I do think she is up though.. how much though she won’t say.. which is smart to do.

    • Talisman

He’s disputing results for actual interviews with actual early voters?

Do they think this is some form of the Bradley Effect?

      • Bruno

Like any poll or survey, it can be an outlier.

      • thom

or just a small skewed sample. they haven’t released their methodology yet. everybody who’s involved in FL politics and polling is mocking this poll tonight. Obamas FL campaign director, electproject.com, 538.com, NYT.

        it’s certainly an outlier

        • Bruno

One thing that would underscore that it’s an outlier: Clinton leads tRump 48-40 in the straight up poll part of it.

    • Max_1

So she winning 72% of registered Republican early voters… impressive.

      Biggley

    • Lazycrockett

Lets give Nate some room and say its not 28 but even if is 15 to 20 its an amazing number of republicans crossing over.

      • Bruno

I saw in another tweet he said the GOP breakdown in NC was 80/10 tRump/Clinton.

  • anne marie in philly

oh joy, we really need THAT SHIT in harrisburg…I bet our house and senate members will be there too, since 99% of them are rump followers. FUCK THEM ALL!

    • Lazycrockett

Comey’s toast. He will be gone before the end of the year.

      • Ninja0980

Just hope the Republicans are as well.

        • Bruno

Tomorrow could be a crucial day. Polling should be all caught up with Friday’s news. If she continues bleeding support, we’ll know what’s up.

          • Ninja0980

Indeed… if WI is tied or she’s down in other states… we’re in trouble unless our side drops a bomb… which I think they would have if they had anything.

          • Bruno

I have a feeling that Marquette poll will have a very close MOE race in Wisconsin. Or have Clinton up by 14. Anything but the true number.

          • Ninja0980

As long as she and Feingold are ahead I’ll be happy.
Do worry about the voter suppression there though.. it will be ugly.

          • Bruno

This is what Marquette claimed happened earlier this month in their last poll.
            https://twitter.com/MULawPoll/status/786257047960424448

          • kevin vincent

When will the poll be released?

        • Lazycrockett

It’s not even a republican thing, its the fact that the FBI is breaking into two camps and and breaking itself into.

      • Max_1

Before the end of the week…

      • William

I hope he goes somewhere nice and comfy, like Gitmo or Leavenworth.

    • Bruno

Unfortunately a leak isn’t as good as a letter from the head to Congress.

    • Jean-Marc in Canada

Sadly, the damage is done. Comey knew exactly what he was doing and it’s obvious many in the FBI follow his lead in influencing the election. The real tragedy here is, that not only can people not trust the police, they can no longer trust the FBI. These actions call into question the very idea of impartiality on the part of the bureau. This should not be minimized.

      • Ninja0980

If you look at their history, the FBI has been dirty in some areas for a long time.

        • Jean-Marc in Canada

Oh, I completely agree, it’s just that this time around, like Trump, they’re not hiding their disdain for the electorate or due process.

          • Ninja0980

Nope, they want expanded powers and know Trump will give it to them.

        • Lazycrockett

Every couple decades the upper level needs to flushed out. Seems like its that time again.

Now, voters who forget to include their middle name or zip code, make a typo on their birth date, or sign their name in cursive in the “print name” box could have their ballot tossed.

    • moebym

      Bull. Shit.

    • William

The sign in sheet at my doctor’s office clearly states “PRINT NAME”. Almost every one is in cursive.

      • DaddyRay

Don’t tell Health Care Insurers – they may start using that to deny claims

      • Lazycrockett

The weird thing is I have 3 nephew/neice thingy and they have no clue what cursive even is. Their hand writing sucks. Its like they each have created their own “Tolkien” language.

        • William

My handwriting went downhill after a torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder. These days I can hardly read it.

        • ByronK

For me, now cursive language means when I write “Donald Trump is a goddamned motherfucking pussy grabbing shitheaded asshole”. But nobody could read it.

    • zhera

I don’t understand why they’re doing that. Wouldn’t it be just as likely GOP voters as Dem voters?

      Are they sinking themselves?

      • The_Wretched

Most of the population is democrat on the issues. All disenfranchisement helps the republicans.

    • The_Wretched

I just keep thinking that in a democracy, the right to vote should be the paramount value. Instead we see bullshit chipping away at it like it were anathema.

    • Max_1

Pebbles in the jar… count them for a ballot…

      FUCK OHIO!

So when will the WI poll be released? Kinda flip between calm and panic really

My Trump loving father last night tried to turn on FOXNews(R) and I did my usual talk over the blowhard dejour that is on, this time it was Bill oriely. He and Charles Kratheimer (sp) were gobbling up air, as usual, about… drumroll… Hillary’s emails.

I simply turned to him and said, “you know, Trump is correct when he says the system is rigged. Why else doesn’t the media talk about Trumps RICO case?”

“Oh?” He says… “yes dad, Federal racketeering case goes to trial Nov 28. Why do you think Donald said, when campaigning in Pensacola Florida finding out the date, told his supporters to go vote Nov 28?” … He never knew.

“Why do you think the media isn’t talking about his rape case?”

“Well, I don’t know about that.”

“Dec 14. He’s accused of raping a 13 year old. She has 3 witnesses now.”

    Honestly, he has no clue…

  • Thanks,Trump. Just what we needed.

  • moebym

I realize that it’s kind of late, but I wanted to share this video of Louis CK’s hilarious and full-throated endorsement of Hillary on Conan.

    • TampaDink

“If you vote for Hillary, you’re a grown up. If you vote for Trump you’re a sucker. If you don’t vote for anybody, you’re an asshole.” For The Win.

  • mark99k

I’m betting this backfires — bigly. I could easily envision Trump’s poll numbers taking a nosedive that evening, especially if this little soiree begets violent confrontations.

    • TampaDink

From the tips of your fingers to the Noodly Appendages of the Flying Spaghetti Monster! I wish that I had your confidence. Hopefully by this time next week you will be proven to be correct.

One more time: anybody who mews that the GOP is the party of Lincoln needs to be bitchslapped hard and asked if he’s under the delusion that Lincoln was a Klansman.

  • Porkie

Are we allowed to say “deplorable” yet?

  • JT

Two more former Republican officials indicate support for Hillary.

George P. Bush said Tuesday that his uncle, former President George W.
Bush, may join his grandfather George H.W. Bush in casting his ballots
for Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump, according to the Associated
    Press.

    and

Libertarian vice presidential nominee Bill Weld defended Hillary Clinton Tuesday night, acknowledging an explicit split with his running mate Gary Johnson.

Weld, in an interview with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, said he disagreed with FBI Director James Comey’s decision to announce publicly the agency was looking into more Clinton emails just days before the election and defended the Democratic presidential nominee whom he has known for decades.

“I’m here vouching for Mrs. Clinton, and I think it’s high time somebody did,” Weld said.

I wake up to learn that I reside in a State, indeed in a country, where men in dark uniforms fly a flag with a nazi swastica on it.

    Nothing more to say.

  • JellyDonut

why would any non-racist vote for Trump? In my mind you vote for a racist it kinda makes you a racist.

    • Brian in Valdosta

We are known by the company we keep. And, by extension, the votes we cast.

  • kareemachan

    Well, they seem nice.

  • Acronym Jim

Talk about desecrating the US flag. Hitler was evil, but at least he had a decent graphic designer.

  • andrew

That rally seems rather sparsely attended. Maybe the word Nazi has a negative connotation to the overwhelming majority of Americans. Just a hunch.

  • CatCope

I’m curious to what other countries are thinkin’ about the good old USA these days.
