PARTY IN THE USA: Scathing Ad Depicts ISIS And Putin Celebrating After Trump Wins The Election [VIDEO]

Via press release:

Today the Democratic Coalition Against Trump, the nation’s largest grassroots anti-Trump organization, released an attack video to its over 100,000 members. The video uses Miley Cyrus’s “Party in the USA” to attack Trump for the support he has received from America’s enemies and is designed to engage with Millennials and college students. With almost 40% of them declaring their support for 3rd party candidates and only 31% currently supporting Secretary Clinton – a far cry from the 60% who voted for Obama in 2012.

“The fact that Trump has received support from Vladimir Putin, neo-Nazi leaders and North Korea is incredibly telling. These are not individuals who want to make America great again,” said Nate Lerner, Executive Director to the Democratic Coalition Against Trump and a millennial. “Further, ISIS continues to use Trump in their recruiting videos, which means a Trump victory will be good for them as well. Clearly they don’t fear Trump as much as he thinks.”

  • Kelly Lape

I don’t like it. I believe it’s a bad idea to throw around images of our enemies like this. The Anti-Trump message only shows up at the end.

    • another_steve

      Poorly thought-out. Poorly designed.

  • Bill Post

Silly me …I’m glad I read the description… I thought it was a Family Reseach Council meeting

    • EweTaw

      Same thing.

  • Lazycrockett

Millennials need to figure out that if they go third party and Drumpf wins it’s their sorry ass that is gonna take the brunt of Drumpf’s regime. Militarily, economically, and judicially. So they are just fucking themselves over hardcore.

    • clay

Why wouldn’t they just blame Gen Xer’s for being too stuck in the mud and not joining in? I mean, maybe if EVERYONE were to vote for Bernie (using full, legally recognized in legible handwriting for verification), then . . .

      • Lazycrockett

Cause Gen X has been beaten down their whole lives, first from the boomers and now from the Millennials.

        • clay

Gen X, forever free of the weight of responsibility– by the time the last of the Boomers retire, everyone will want a “fresh face” in charge. [sigh]

        • Evan C

          Poor, oppressed Gen Xers. lol

          • The_Wretched

            Why the Gen X bashing?

          • barracks9

That was just gentle sarcasm. When it comes to true Gen X bashing, there’ll be miles and miles of scorched earth, and nothing with grow there for generations.

          • clay

            (well, one, relatively small, generation)

    • sword

Naderites ‘elected’ Bush…in Florida, he got only about 500 more votes than Gore…but Nader got nearly 100,000 votes.

      • PRW

        A. Of the nine votes that actually mattered in 2000, zero were for Nader; and
        B. Pat Buchanan got more votes in Florida than the margin between Bush and Gore, as did the Libertarian candidate, yet your venom is only for Nader. Why, exactly, do you feel entitled to Nader’s voters?

  • AJ Drew

So… are any of us gonna claim we saw thousands of muslims celebrating watching DT burn?

  • james1200

You know, even ISIS has their good side…

They’re obsessed with cats, we’re obsessed with cats, you’d think we could come together on that issue.

  • Rebecca Gardner
    • james1200

      That wasn’t me, was it?

      • Rebecca Gardner

No. You’re not blocked. Only one person is blocked for being a relentlessly annoying person to me and everyone else this morning.

        • Acronym Jim

I’m assuming it’s that guy whose user nym rhymes with a certain association for retired people?

          • Rebecca Gardner

            Ding! Ding! Ding! You win!

        • JT

It must have pulled itself away from the casino for a few hours.

          • BobSF_94117

Damn. Somewhere there’s a slot machine primed for a win!

    • Treant

Yep, there was an Israel thread earlier where half the word mass was gone. I presume Ish checked in, or Perdue.

Either way, I didn’t have to suffer the fools.

      • JCF

        Probably both.

    • Neely OHara

      Ain’t it just THE BEST?!!!

    • DoctorDJ

No, I enjoy the trolls and pond scum.

Gets my hackles up (and at my age…)

    • olandp

      Which asshole is this?

  • Butch

Well, to quote my favorite Liberal Redneck, that checks out. Unfortunately.

  • TheManicMechanic

Millennials, eh? Wrong target. Engage their parents, since so many Millennials can’t be arsed to vote unless their parents do it for them.

    /s (but not entirely)

  • bkmn

Let me guess, unlike a GOP operation, they actually sought out permission from the artist to use her music.

  • Lazycrockett
  • Lazycrockett

    OMG E.A.S system wide alert!!!!

Thank God its only a test.

    • Treant

Same here, this is about the third time now.

I can’t say if it’s a scheduled test, or if they’re testing it just in case–and the probability is very low–that Matthew becomes a force 5 and makes landfall at the Outer Banks.

    • Every now and then, we get one here in NM. Usually if there’s some really bad weather threatening and the state authorities think there’s a chance for urgent flood evacuations.

      • Treant

We have light showers projected for tomorrow and perhaps an inch of total rainfall dropping onto parched earth that will suck that up. 🙂

But like I said, Matthew is possible in ten days or so…if really, really unlikely…and that storm is going to be vicious no matter where it lands.

  • RoFaWh

“Clearly they don’t fear Trump as much as he thinks.”

Drumpf doesn’t “think” about anything much except how much money a given course of action will put in his pocket. He’s often very wrong, of course, witness his many business failures.

  • Todd

I’ve never been so terrified of a Miley Cyrus song …….

  • VodkaAndPolitics

I’m sorry, but I find this ad to be ineffective and in poor taste.

    • metrored

You’re not alone. I’m sure some folks in the Clinton camp are pissed.

    • clay

I’m feeling relieved that I find this ad to be ineffective and in poor taste.

    • ErikDC

Trump is aligned with Putin, has expressed admiration for Kim Jong Un’s leadership, and wants to help ISIS co-opt Islam, providing them moral authority and a fertile recruiting ground, by insisting Muslims our are enemy.

      It’s very accurate.

      • Stubenville

But the message gets wiped out by the chirpy pop music.

  • Guest

I expect that an ad that addresses student loan debt, economic justice, racial justice, environmental protections, and domestic policies would be more appealing to young millennials than trying to get an anti-war crowd to care about giving our enemies the sadz over an election result, using an ad that taps into orientalism attitudes but with a song from the previous decade tacked on.

  • O/T:

Just LOOK at all the trash.

Oh, and man these people are lazy about throwing their garbage on the ground, too. Ever heard of recycling, ya sloppy goons?

    • Treant

What totally impresses me is how incredibly classy Trump’s followers are.

      • bkmn

Just as classy as their candidate.

        • Ross

          Like attracts like.

          • clay

Not according to a Christian Biologist in Nigeria! What are you, some kinda gay marriage supporter?

          • DoctorDJ

            Flies to shit.

          • JCF

            Ick attracts Ick.

    • Homo Erectus

  • Sam_Handwich

i’m of the mindset that millennials need to be smacked in the head with the cold, hard fact that Donald Trump is a threat to security here and around the globe, and that their petulant third party “protest votes” only increase that risk

  • Treant

Way OT: Last week, a new cable company came to our neighborhood. Installation wasn’t making anybody happy, but what can you do, right? The new boxes went in every 240′ (including one on our property) and were all installed like little Leaning Towers of Pisa. Ours cants about thirty degrees.

I’d also called them regarding my irrigation system and robot guide-wire. They vowed to be incredibly careful and, of course, broke the wire.

Complaints on any issue garnered nothing. Naturally. I found and fixed the wiring myself (it’s very low voltage, so no problems there).

I’m cloning four heirloom roses in my office right now for planting out there next year to cover the Leaning Tower. Fortunately, that’s legal under our easement. I’m trying to train them to have mobile thorns that stab workmen who come to fiddle with that box, but don’t think that’ll work out well.

They just called back to make sure I was “satisfied.” I just advised them that we’d never be customers, speak to our neighbors regularly, and asked them to simply never call me again for any reason.

    I really hate installers.

    • EweTaw

I sued the cable company who ran rough shod on the street side of my property. I also won. There is no cable nothing even remotely accessible to my little mud hut. None. And the court settlement was enough to completely redo my sidewalk and drive way. Just get a good lawyer. It can be done.

      • Treant

Alas, not in Pennsylvania. We have easement laws, and they’re well within their rights to dig up the entire thing if they “need” to.

    • clay

were they the prince coming to steal your sleeping beauty, or crazy-eyed Tom Cruise breaking into your greenhouse?

      • Treant

Tom Cruise, unfortunately. I also have elite grass, which they tore up…but I can fix that pretty easily.

  • RainbowPhoenix

Anyone else reminded of the Daisy Ad?

  • JellyDonut

Damnit now that Song is in my head!!!

  • RLK2

About time. Putin is the bottom feeder of the world.
