Reince Priebus Threatens Kasich, Cruz, And Jeb: Back Trump Or We’ll Block Your Future Presidential Bids

The New York Daily News reports:

Republican Party boss Reince Priebus on Sunday threatened GOP lawmakers who had yet to endorse Donald Trump with the possibility that he would work to prevent them from seeking the presidency if they ran again in the future.

“People who agreed to support the nominee, that took part in our process, they used tools from the RNC. They agreed to support the nominee, they took part in our process,” the Republican National Committee Chairman said on CBS’s “Face The Nation.”

“We’re a private party. We’re not a public entity. Those people need to get on board. And if they’re thinking they’re going to run again someday, I think that we’re going to evaluate the process … the nomination process and I don’t think it’s going to be that easy for them.”

Donald Trump formally accepted the Republican nomination in July. Nevertheless, several prominent former candidates, like Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Ohio Gov. John Kasich, have yet to offer their support to Trump.
