Obama Slams Trump During Rutgers Speech [VIDEO]

Mediaite recaps:

While Obama never mentioned Trump by name, the attacks on the mogul were quite obvious, as the president addressed several of his core campaign proposals. The speech at the New Jersey school ran for approximately 45 minutes, wherein Obama advised students to be skeptical of certain unnamed people (like Trump) who make grandiose promises while they push “anti-intellectualism” under the guise of not being politically correct. “The world is more interconnected than ever before, and it’s becoming more connected every day,” said Obama. “Building walls won’t change that.” Beyond slamming the proposed Mexican border wall, Obama also took aim at Trump’s anti-Muslim ideas, his international economic and security plans, and his longing for the “good old days” that “weren’t all that good.”
