John Kasich’s campaign, which pulled resources from Indiana as part of a failed agreement with Cruz to prevent Trump from reaching the necessary number of delegates to become the nominee, posted a video to his Twitter account Wednesday morning on Star Wars Day, imagining what the not-so-distant future could look like in a galaxy not-so-far away. “2017,” the screen flashes, as the theme song to “Star Wars” plays and the familiar fading title scroll begins. Billing Kasich as “OUR ONLY HOPE,” the video lays out the bleak situation for Republicans if Trump is the nominee.
