NORTH CAROLINA: Haters Rally For Hate Law [VIDEOS]

Hundreds of people from all over the state of North Carolina gathered Monday for a rally to show support for House Bill 2.

The rally, organized by several groups including the Christian Action League and Return America, featured speakers from religious groups as well as victims of sexual assault.

Sheriffs from Davie, Alamance and Rockingham counties attended the rally to support the new law.

“The first responsibility of government is to protect citizens — no question,” Sheriff Sam Page of Rockingham County said. “We are the protectors and that’s what we do. When I first heard about this bill, I didn’t think about LGBT. I thought about sexual offenders and predators.”

Dr. Ron Baity, pastor for Berean Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, was one of the speakers. He attended with a bus full of members of his congregation.

“I think a lady’s right to privacy when she goes into the bathroom should be at the forefront,” Baity said.

In attendance were the nutjob Benham brothers. As you’ll see below, a smaller but very vocal group of pro-LGBT protesters was also there. In the last clip, viciously anti-LGBT Pastor Patrick Wooden cites Caitlyn Jenner as a main reason for supporting HB2.
