Rafael Cruz: Satan Will Destroy America If President Obama Gets To Make SCOTUS Appointment [VIDEO]

Loony tunes Rafael Cruz appeared on CBN today to tell Pat Robertson that America will surely be destroyed if Obama gets to name Scalia’s successor, adding “with that [gay marriage] decision on June 26th, the devil overplayed his hand.” Right Wing Watch reports:

“We must return to the Judeo-Christian, the biblical, the constitutional foundations that this country was built upon,” he said, “otherwise this country will be destroyed.”

The elder Cruz then went on to say that Justice Antonin Scalia’s death could usher in America’s destruction: “This could tilt the balance of the court and could be something that would affect America for the next 30 years. We don’t have 30 years.”

He went on to falsely claim that “no nominee for the Supreme Court has been confirmed in the last year of the election” in over 80 years. (In fact, the last time that happened was in 1988 when Justice Anthony Kennedy was confirmed.) “The balance of the court cannot be tilted in a lame duck year, it’s just not done.”

Cuban nut job says what? I think his drinking damaged his brain and Christianity finished off what was left.

    • Gianni

Yes, but there’s always that annoying delay in the destruction. However, the faithful never lose faith because some self-righteous young or old fool will confirm for them that the very next natural or man made “disaster” is the really, truly, definitely sign of the end of it all. The nonsense is so tiring and more so seeing and hearing the christianista get totally worked up again and again and again, ad nauseum. Funny how it never dawns on the fools that God is really messing with their heads (or, more likely, they’re messing with their own heads). Is there a medical/psychiatric name for that mindset?
      Seems there should be.

    • D. J.

If we did that, can we expel all of the Christianist evangelicals since they and their mega churches didn’t exist back then? Can we go back to separation of church and state since it did exist? Hmmm, Rafael?

      • Traxley Launderette

        Yes, please.

There’s one monster church near here, with an auditorium seating a couple thousand, a dozen nursery rooms, an enormous teen center, its own coffee shop, its own praise band, and a pastoral team of six. They have parking lot attendants to keep traffic moving. They’re the cool church you want to be seen at.

Funny thing, though. A couple years ago, a fraudster who posed as a good Christian and ran a ponzi, donated 300 grand to the church. After the guy was tried and convicted he was ordered to make restitution. The church was asked to return the tainted money. Not suprisingly, the church refused. It wasn’t until a couple of weeks of bad PR that they changed their mind.

        • Snowwhite02

They should have returned the money immediately, something in the Bible about the “fruit of a poisoned tree.” Yeah, the concept was written into our secular laws because it makes perfect sense, as in “nothing good can come from something evil.”

          • Traxley Launderette

Yeah, well… but that new IMAX worship center ain’t building itself…

ResLife is, and always has been, an entertainment center with PSAs from God.

    • Todd20036

What this guy says isn’t so important as is the fact that Rafael Cruz Jr isn’t shutting him up or distancing himself from his rants.

      • Chucktech

He’s running his mouth on CBN, fer fuckssake. The only loons who watch that already luv them some Rafael Jr., so he’s happy to let him talk.

      • Mark

And the right wing assholes were pissed off about Rev Wright – jeezus…..

    • pickypecker
      • Chucktech

That’s exactly what twisted christian fucks are doing on PUBLIC SCHOOL property to lure kids into their after-hours “Good News” clubs. Filthy, vile, shameless motherfuckers…

        • David Walker

Who is accused of recruiting? And who actually does it?

          • Chucktech

Talk about your 3D IMAX projection…

          • Traxley Launderette

Here in MI, there are special motor homes, or clubhouses. They would excuse elementary school kids from class to visit tgem for a bible story, songs, and snacks. That is, until the majority of parents, the ones who repect the rule of law and the separation of church and state, found out that thi taking place on school property during school hours. There were fireworks. The Jesusmobile did not return.

          • David Walker

Well, let’s hear it for the parents. I was afraid this was going to take another direction (religious types, kids, snacks), but this is truly good. Makes you wonder what the resale value of Jesusmobiles is.

          • Snowwhite02

They shouldn’t have allowed it during school hours where kids cannot choose to opt-out of it if it is a prescribed activity. But providing OPTIONAL after school clubs & activities to give the kids a good place to go after school doesn’t violate that statute. Schools cannot be used to “force” any kind of religious activity during school (taxpayer hours), but they can be used to provide a space for the activity to occurr after hours, the same as a math club or chess club, so kids only go if they want to.

          • Traxley Launderette

West Michigan has a tendency to look at separation of church and state as a “suggestion.”

It’s getting better, but religion has a generational death grip on a white, upper middle class, conservative suburban families. They love the material “blessings” of modern life, but secretly long for the 17th century.

          • micky muxwell

            Hillary, for one!

          • Dave Cleveland

            Dumb comment, Mick!

        • shellback

Chuck, No one is ever going to take you seriously if you insist on sanitizing your words. 😉

        • MDB

No different than the praise-band rock-concerts (with collection plates) at the Southern Baptist and other non-denominational mega-churches posing as worship services. They have dating services, child-care services, laundries, tax-preparation etc.,etc. (all paid for by the idiots who give them their money…they’re just too fucking stoooopid to realize they’re actually paying for all of it.)

          • Chucktech

Really? I think there’s a HUGE difference. If I had a child attending public grammar school and I found out that busy body christian fucks were trying to entice my kid, with cookies and candy and soft drinks (just like our parents warned us against), into their jesus j.o. sessions, I’d be more than apoplectic.

Your example is adults going to their brainwashing sessions on their own volition.

          • Snowwhite02

Actually, they DO realize they are paying for it, & that is totally the point! to provide places for kids to go instead of the streets or to abusive homes, to provide places & activities that are wholesome. Now when there are pedophiles that take advantage of that setting, that is wrong & should be prosecuted, but that happens in PUBLIC schools by teachers & staff & coaches, too. It happens everywhere. BUT these religious activities should not be used to suck kids into the Repuglican Party either! Separation of Church & State needs to be enforced by TAXING the churches for crossing the line! That being said, I am a Christian who is against the NAZI crap & other crap being spewed by the religious right-wing nut jobs, too

        • jane

you forgot egotistical. I cannot believe someone who believes in God would presume to know what God is thinking or what He would do. Such egotism!!!! Can’t stand these people or the churches they support.

          • sword

Remember that these spokesmen of God are just the ‘wizard’ behind the curtain. Charlatans have been doing that since ancient times.

          • bzrd

but, but, but, they talk with god

          • They make medications for that, too!

          • Snowwhite02

They can talk TO God all they want, that’s called PRAYER, it’s that they say God ANSWERS them & He always wants them to do what they wanted to do in the first place that is the PROBLEM!!! If Cruz were to say that he’s had a change of heart about being President because God told him it’s not where He wants him to go, then I’d be a lot more inclined to consider the possiblity, however miniscule, he was telling the truth.

          • Snowwhite02

Not all churches do that & not all Christians presume to know the mind of God, especially when the Bible tells us we can NEVER be intelligent enough to know the mind of God, like a small child cannot know(understand) the mind of their parents. The problem is, these “christians” have never read the whole book, they just cherry-pick the verses they think they can twist to mean what they want it to mean so they can manipulate whatever the circumstances are to fit their needs or have the outcome they want. The Bible is just a means to an end with these people to put them into a place of power so they can become the next Hitler, who, by the way SAID he was a “christian” too, all the while he was worshipping ALIENS (the bible calls them the WATCHERS) as the real creators of the ARYAN NATION, & this is the true (but hidden) belief of KKKers, Neo-Nazis, & White Supremacists, they are NOT true Christians! If they truly followed the BIBLE, they would not be a part of group that is KNOWN to have been worshipping “false Gods”

    • Chris Baker

but wait, America doesn’t allow murder or stealing, or polygamy, or all those other non-Christian things! So it must have been founded on Christian principles.

Except freedom of religion, freedom of the press, freedom or speech are all very non-Christian concepts.

      • b
      • Chris Baker

The most “Christian” of nations is Saudi Arabia. No movies, modest clothing, no alcohol, no conversion to other religions, no proselytizing, forced public morality, no premarital sex, etc.

Curiously, I was just reading yesterday how there is a vibrant(?) gay community in Saudi Arabia because of the forced morality. For many unmarried men, the only sexual outlet is with other men, and only being the ‘bottom’ is considered gay by many people.

        • b

It’s not my personal experience, ahem, but some straight guys love gay sex, blows, whatever, because of the acceptance, freedom, and liberation, joy. I hear they are happy as clams. Real deal. They gay movement helped the straight males — real thing. The fear factor — it’s gone with those guys.

And they are not less moral — they are more moral, because when they do pick someone, they know that satisfaction, a happy home life, comes with peace. Which you can only truly feel after you shot your satellite into the sky.

          • Snowwhite02

Then they’re NOT straight, they’re GAY. How does someone become gay? I heard 1/2 are born that way, the other half get sucked into it. Sounds like what you describing here.

          • Chris Baker

A gay man can have sex with a woman, but that doesn’t make him straight, does it? It works the same way for straight men. I don’t know how someone get “sucked into” being gay, LOL. Either you like it, or you don’t. Sort of like Cilantro. Some people like cilantro, some people don’t. I am a person who doesn’t like Cilantro. I have tried it, but I don’t like it. So even though I have tried cilantro a few times, I am not ‘trapped’ into eating it for the rest of my life. If someone is gay, then they are gay. If someone is straight, then they are straight, there is no changing that. There is no being “trapped” in the opposite of what you are. (of course, sexual attraction is not always a binary situation, most people have a range of attraction to both men and women.)

      • Snowwhite02

Well, that’s not true either. Jesus never told His followers to “convert by the sword” and He said “you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make it drink.” God gave us freedom of will because He wanted us to CHOOSE Him, He didn’t/doesn’t want SLAVES.

        • Chris Baker

Maybe you have a different version of the Bible, but mine doesn’t have Jesus saying “you can lead a horse to water”. LOL.

It’s a really nice “choice”. Choose Jesus or burn in hell for all eternity!

    • b

The founding fathers may have had private views about God. They were said to be humble and ecumenical in their beliefs, but they were deep believers in secualrisim. Secularism means I can’t take my religious beliefs, and I’m pose them on people who hold different beliefs. And yes, atheists hold religious beliefs: they think a magic man in the sky is untrue: a deeply held religious belief.

And the the founding fathers wrote the Fist Amendment — the “no establishment of a single religion” clause due to a deep, abiding distrust of the Cruz family, and their supporters, who want to impose their personal religious beliefs on people who DO NOT SHARE their religion.

It is why the Cruz family was so infuriated with Castro, who said rich, powerful, bigoted people can’t rule this country anymore. They have been full of a head of steam since then, because they can’t be king baby, king brat, and king asshole. And what a monstrous, un-American philosophy.

      • Snowwhite02

I’m a Christian & I trust atheists more than I trust people like Cruz & Trump & the whole evangelical group!

    • Shannon Hippie-kat Rey

I am still wondering why it is people still think that. We are a Sovereign nation, the government belongs to US not to any one religion. Actually we are a Constitutional Republic and I think that part is in the Constitution. I get so tired of hearing these people go on and on about how Obama is taking people’s guns and religion away because if he is, he is not doing a very good job of it. Unless we go through every prayer from every religion or belief, there cannot be school prayer even if it was allowed. Rafael is not a “true” American if we are being real and as someone in the party of his son said, “he does not feel the same way about America than a real American would” It must suck to have your own party’s words coming back to bite you.

  • Secure

I listened to this entire conversation and they are both bat shit crazy but everyone already knows that. Two very horrible men.

  • abel

THIS MAN IS A LUNATIC. And the apple hasn’t fallen far from this tree, either.

  • HanyBaal

This the level of crazy fundies present. God does not act to stop atrocities (and in some cases decrees them) from slavery to genocide. He reserves his full wrath to seemingly the slightest offense.

    • Chucktech

      Seems completely unbelievable, doesn’t it?

  • 2patricius2

Crazy father, crazy son. Both are off the rails and both use religion as their tool.

  • Robert Conner

Holy Shit! Nosferatu has a brother?

  • Tigernan Quinn

No, YOU don’t have 30 years, you scaly dragon. Your day is done – get out of the way.

  • NancyP

Clearly, Rafael Cruz’ God was asleep at the switch, allowing Scalia to die before the election.

    • Johnny Wyeknot

Yeah, God works in strange ways, don’t they?

    • Gustav2

Maybe God had enough of these assholes.

  • SunsetGay

“A man that does not start the day on his knees is not fit to sit in the Oval Office.”

At least we agree on something!

  • Buford

I’m confused… if the Devil ‘overplayed his hand’ with legalized gay marriage, how is He now poised to destroy America…?

    • Chucktech

This might be called godly argle bargle… To coin a phrase…

    • Michael McReavy

      Devilish jiggery pokery?

      • JerryRich

        Hey! Jiggery-pokery has a hyphen (Merriam-Webster)!

        • Robincho

Moby-Dick just called. He sends his thanks…

    • GC

Applesauce! From the forbidden Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil!

  • GayOldLady

“This could tilt the balance of the court and could be something that
would affect America for the next 30 years. We don’t have 30 years.”

So, if we don’t have 30 years then it won’t “affect America for the next 30 years” will it? Now, you and I, Rafael, don’t have 30 years, we likely don’t even have 10 years, so WTF are you worried about? And your “son” will never be POTUS so please return to the obscurity from whence you came.

    • Johnny Wyeknot

He is so weird. I say give him top billing!

  • Johnny Wyeknot

The more exposure he gets the better for us.

Well then Raf, darling sweetheart, your divorce is annulled.

    Personal life

In 1959, Cruz married Julia Ann Garza (August 22, 1939 – May 18, 2013), but divorced after a few years. She later became a professor at California State University, Stanislaus. They had two daughters, Miriam Ceferina Cruz (11/22/61-2011) and Roxana Lourdes Cruz (born November 18, 1962), a Greenville, Texas, physician. Miriam died in 2011. He has one grandson.[4][18][18][29][30][31]

In his twenties, Cruz moved to New Orleans. In 1969, at his new oil company job, he met his second wife, Eleanor Elizabeth Darragh Wilson, a computer programmer from Delaware. Cruz and Wilson lived in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where their only child, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, was born.[32] While in Calgary, the couple owned a seismic-data processing firm for oil drillers.[4][9]

After Cruz graduated from the University of Texas in 1961, he was granted political asylum in the United States following the expiration of his student visa.[1] He became a Canadian citizen during his residence in Canada, returning to the United States with his family in the mid-’70s. Eleanor and Rafael Cruz divorced in 1997.[30] He renounced his Canadian citizenship and in 2005 became a naturalized U.S. citizen.[1][33]

      • DJ John Bear

If they were annulments, I guess that makes it okay.

        • TampaDink

Everything is okay….if you are a republican.
          Often shortened here to IOKIYAR.

    • Oh’behr

Thanks for the truth about a failed man and awful father.
Yet he’s an IOKIYAR Christian frothing at the mouth about gay everything. Figures.

  • Michael McReavy

Maybe funnier than Pee-Wee’s Big Vacation. Certainly weirder.

  • Cuberly

OT: (Sorry) It seems the anti-Beyonce’ protest that was supposed to go down today…..uh didn’t have a single person show up.

Hahahahahahaha….so basically this was a bunch of internetz hot air and racism.

  • justmeeeee

So saith the father of Satan.

  • Chris Baker

“no nominee for the Supreme Court has been confirmed in the last year of the election”

So I gotta ask, how many nominees were put up in the last year of a President’s term? If Kennedy was the only justice nominated and confirmed in the last year of a term, then that would mean that 100% of nominees put forward in the last year of a president’s term were confirmed.

It’s like saying “we can’t put HRC for the nomination because no other woman has won a presidential election in a year ending in the number “6”.”

  • 5moreminutes*imtired

They’re never content just being christians themselves…

  • bkmn

Its funny that he crows about a Judeo-Christian nation when no Jewish folks signed the Declaration of Independence.

    • Friday

I think the Jews have figured out they aren’t actually included in ‘Judeo-Christian.’ The Fundies just say that cause they want to impose the Christian ‘Old Testament.’

    • Canadian Observer

Oh that is just 1950s speak that overt anti-semitism was costing the Republicans votes. Rhubarb, rhubarb, rhubarb… just background noise.

Why would Satan destroy America? America is the world’s #1 producer of porn. America has the highest divorce rate in the world.

    • lymis

And the world’s only source of wingnut Republicans!

  • JaniceInToronto

Yes Raphael. Satan is going to destroy America (well, the U.S. part anyway)
The rest of us are pretty much OK with that if it means you’ll STFU…

  • Marides48

I can’t listen to this delusional old fuck!

    • coram nobis

If Sonny Cruz wins the nom, the Dems should feature this gargoyle on their attack ads. He certainly has plenty of video footage for them to select. People should listen.

  • Bill T.

Nonsense. Satan is still looking for someone who’ll take Scalia in as a roommate.

  • I see… so since all your dire predictions of GAWD destroying America for this thing or that never came true….
…now you’re going to up the hysterical fear-mongering factor a notch and claim the devil is going to do it instead. Got it.
Can I go back to sleep now? I really need a nap…

  • Kate

If we “must return to the Judeo-Christian, the biblical, the constitutional foundations that this country was built upon” let’s see which of these have anything to say about the role the President plays in appointing Supreme Court justices. What’s that? Only the Consistution has anything to say on the matter, and it says it’s the President’s job to do so? Well then. That’s settled.

    • lymis

That’s utterly unfair, untrue, and uninformed. The Bible most definitely does have something to say:

13 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. 4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.

6 This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. 7 Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.
      –Romans 13: 1-8

Not that that really supports Cruz’s position. Quite the contrary. He’s rebelling against God!

      • Mike in NC

What? Pay taxes? Obey authority? If that is the case, how can one be a libertarian and a Christian at the same time? I know, slightly o/t, but related.

  • Blake Mason

No .. YOU don’t have 30 years by the look of that photo.

  • Curieux Bleu

Satan is obviously using this Cuban nut-bag Cruz-control-tool to advance ‘His’ evil agenda to destroy the USA with cruel theo-fascist gun-crazed pseudo-Xian BULLSHIT. BULLSHIT, BULLSHIT, BULLSHIT. !PURA MIERDA! en español.

Get thee behind us, Rafael, you screw-loose grifting monster.

Failed marriage, abandoned family, divorced and now HE is thundering judgment rained on the heads of those who, by Obergefell, are now allowed to keep their tender love and commitment to one another with pride and respect, those who were marginalised and oppressed by the likes of this horrible, BROKEN, screaming-doom-from-the-rooftops Trojan horse nightmare of an angry vicious stone called hearted so-called ‘human’.

Rafael, give it a fucking break — you will NEVER see the son you abandoned become Commander in Chief. You are complete and utter TRASH. And your Rafael Jr. is following in your footsteps.

    #Failed manhood.

  • scorpiomike

He said the church has been silent? I must have missed that. Since birth I can’t recall a moment where the church was silent, except maybe on the things they should be talking about.

Hopefully this old fart joins Scalia sooner rather than later.

  • Ernest Endevor

I think if we managed to cope with Spiderman: The Musical we can cope with whomever the president nominates.

  • friendlynerd

Satan must be really backlogged by now, because I can think of several times he was supposed to destroy America already.

    • lymis

It’s Rush Limbaugh. Since he hasn’t kept his promise to move to Costa Rica if Obama was elected, God can’t destroy America just yet.

Ballast, I guess. Or gravitational disruption. Or maybe all the hot air affecting the climate.

  • chasmader

Why hasn’t this hate monger been deported back to where he came from?

  • Over Ruled

I thought God was gonna destroy American if SCOTUS legalized Marriage Equality. Not only did “God” not destroy America, the single most high-profile government figure in opposition to Marriage Equality is now expired, and about to be six-feet under, hallelujah! Rafael must be talking to some discount-store eminence, because clearly some higher-up is overruling him.

    • Reality.Bites

Technically they didn’t legalize it. It was always legal. What they did is strike down the illegal laws banning it, that no legislature ever had the power to enact.

(This may sound like nit-picking, but it’s an important legal principle. They didn’t create any laws. The forced the states (and earlier the federal government) to stop breaking the law.)

  • Oh good grief. Don’t vote for Cruz, appears there is hereditary insanity in their family.

    • Oh’behr

I feel sorry for Ted Cruz’ kids. Hopefully they won’t inherit his facial expression.

  • KnownDonorDad

Slightly related: notorious anti-same-sex marriage noisemaker Karen L. Grube is for Ted Cruz. Of course.

  • Will Parkinson

I mean this in the nicest possible way, but could you PLEASE shut the ever-loving fuck up?

  • FAEN

    Rafael Cruz
Satan will destroy America if Obama is elected
Satan will destroy America if the ACA passes
Satan will destroy America if DADT is repealed
Satan will destroy America if DOMA is repealed
Satan will destroy America if Obama is re-elected
Satan will destroy America if marriage equality is the law

When are you going to realize you are mentally ill and consistently wrong? Now please do the world a favor STFU already.

You know, the frenetic droning of the Christian lunatics may be getting more frenetic and lunatic, but it’s also getting more droney.

These days, overstaying your student visa will get you deported. Too bad that policy wasn’t in effect back when Roofi graduated.

  • John

    • Gianni

Except they don’t appear to know that our country’s formation had nothing to do with the vaunted Judeo/Christian values.

  • Tom (Winnipeg)

Humongous idiot has it all wrong. If this SCOTUS is “satan’s” wish why would it destroy America? But what the hell, these masterminds of shit don’t have a clue.

    • Gianni

Why would Satan want to destroy America? That would be just like killing the goose that lays the golden eggs to get more eggs. If the devil gets so much pleasure from all the evil that America does, why not just let us go on our merry way and harvest all our sinful souls as we die. It’ll be an endless supply with all that attendant glee and delight at pulling one over on God.

  • NZArtist

Why does it take so damned long for the CIA to re-load their heart-attack gun.

RW batshit crazy G-E-E-Z-E-R ! Instead of worrying about Obama, this fool should take a hint from Scalia.

  • DesertSun59

Giving Dominionists a venue to speak is a very bad idea. There are plenty of loons out there that would gladly entertain Christian Sharia Law.

  • Sean

Nope. This country was built on secular values (see 1st 10 words of the 1st amendment) when the founding fathers wrote into law the prohibition of writing religion into law like what was done in Salem, Massachusetts before America won its independence with the help of a gay man. But I wouldn’t and expect al Cuban immigrant who bribed his way out of Cuba, NEVER had a proper education on American history or law, & who helped get Fidel Castro into power to know anything about American history nor how American law works. Go back to Cuba you anti-American ISIS wannabe filth.

wait, does satan talk to him also? how many creatures are speaking to this old coot?

Hey Rafi, didn’t you know that your son Rafael Eduardo Cruz is really Satan? Guess you haven’t figured that out yet.

  • corner moose

  • I didn’t know Satan had to wait for Obama to do the job required of him before he can destroy America? The religious fanatics everywhere have been spewing the same message since the dawn to man. The end is always one step away and requires someone they hate to bring it on. God please save me from your crazy followers who clearly do not really believe in you.

  • Tammy Rainey

Well, it’s “not done” because (Kennedy aside, special case because the bounced Bork) because there has only been ONE vacancy in a presidential election year in the last 100 YEARS and that was just before the election, when Eisenhower made a recess appointment.

You can’t do a thing if there’s no occasion to do the thing, but that doesn’t mean there is a precedent for not doing so when the occasion arises.

  • Tammy Rainey

Also, if this appointment was so important to God, then why did he “call him home” in an election year, hmmmm? If the parties were reversed Cruz would be insisting God may have taken Scallia before the election to ensure some godless liberal didn’t get to make the nomination next year.

Here’s a constitutional foundation for ya, Raph: Article II, Section 2 of the United States Constitution states, “He shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, shall appoint ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, judges of the Supreme Court, and all other officers of the United States, whose appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by law: but the Congress may by law vest the appointment of such inferior officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the courts of law, or in the heads of departments.

The President shall have power to fill up all vacancies that may happen during the recess of the Senate, by granting commissions which shall expire at the end of their next session.”

And as for what your God says in his great book, the Bible: 1Peter 2:13-14: “13 Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority, 14 or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and the praise of those who do right.”

    Deal with it!

I think it is time to either put daddy in a nursing home so he will not hurt anyone or send him back to Cuba. This man was made a citizen in 2006 or so (not sure) and I know he had to take a citizenship class to become one. Do you think he was out sick when they talked about the separation of church and state or do you think he just ignored it? He is up there with Pat Robertson and he has been nuts for years. If he was a Neo Nazi, there is no way he would have his own show, so as far as I am concerned, Christians have a lot more “rights” than other groups, and I say this as someone who was raised in the Presbyterian Church. These two dudes are complete lunatics.

  • JNWesner

  • G. W. Markle

~ The Separation Of Church And Hate:

There is a good reason why Church and State must always remain separate. Let’s get something straight, right from the start: A theocratic state is not a free state, and never will be. I’m sure it was never Jesus’ intention nor was it His will that anyone should be dominated in His name, the name of Christ. That is the will of men. To be accurate, the concept in itself is anti-Christian. You can only follow Christ by choice, not by legislation.

It seems some people are more intent on casting stones at perceived sinners than propagating the love of Christ. ~ “Above all else, I command you love one another”. ~ This was the message that Jesus preached, and as far as I can see, the worth of a soul will only be measured as such. But I can assure you of one thing, when your time of judgment comes, you won’t be asked to recite scripture, but rather, if anything, the question will be: Did you get the message and live by it?

For all of you people out there on the religious right, you should try to remember that looking for sins to condemn, and people to persecute in the name of God, is simply Satan’s way of keeping you from seeing what is good and praiseworthy. It’s Satan’s favorite means of deceit; getting people to hate and kill each other in the name of God and Christ Jesus. Twisting scripture to incite hatred and division.

Understand this; that by doing so, you are defaming the name of Christ, associating Jesus with bigotry and hate. Jesus was never cursed with these feelings, these sins that you commit in His name. It’s widely agreed that He rose above it all, and to use His name for the justification of spreading contempt and hatred for anyone is true heresy. It isn’t Pro-Christ by any means, but clearly Anti-Christ.

~ It doesn’t really seem to matter at this point if you believe in God and Christ or not. What we have are Anti-Christians, the antithesis of the persona Jesus, and they are attempting, through legislation, to declare America to be a theocratic state and nation, legitimizing discrimination under the false guise of “religious freedom”. If you’re not one of the “chosen” you’re fair game for persecution, oppression and abuse. It’s a perfect “us” and “them” scenario. If you express opposing views to the “Order” or you’re a non-believer, or in any way perceived as a “sinner”, they’ll be coming for you.

~ Anti-Christians ~ The scriptures flow as sweet as honey from their lips, seducing and robbing in the name of God. These are the ones Jesus spoke of that would come in the End Times and deceive many in His name. Anti-Christians: You will know them by their bigotry, their hatred, and their contempt for “others”.

Wait a second.. I thought Obama had ALREADY destroyed America….

He needs to just STFU and take a back seat the bible has nothing to do with this. They use the bible to make a point and they can’t even read the bible.

Sadly the US has way too many religious kooks like this, and some (Cruz, Rubio and Huckabee) are even running for president. They would like to turn the USA into a fundamentalist Christian version of Iran. Fascism will come to the US wrapped in the flag and carrying a Bible.

I do not like the Puerto Ricans being lumped in with other Latino cultures. We have generations living under the US Constitution and have a much better understanding then the Cuban, the Venezuelan, the Dominican, and the Mexican. We are being left behind when we are suppose to be the first at the table. Ted Cruz had duel citizenship until 2 years ago. Yes you can be a Senator but you are not a Natural born citizen to be an American President. We understand a Common Wealth in Puerto Rico but these other groups have no idea.

Who is trying to take guns away? And when have “churches been silent?”

  • Charlie3

Why is anybody covering and quoting this crazy old fart?

  • Michael Hoppe

This christian asshole is undoubtedly the most delusional I have ever heard of. His son is running a very close second place. He needs to be locked up in the nuthouse and put on strong medication.

Is Pat Robertson still alive? It must be God’s way of punishing us sinners

  • Maggie Jones

My God. He is a liar like his son. Crazy, ugly hearted man.

I’m sorry and with all due respect, shine light on the world, sir, not a wagging finger. And if people like your wagging finger, then they are the same folks you are worried about who you see following a path to communism. God looks at the heart. I don’t hear a heart of God in either of you, quite frankly. Preach the Gospel, not politics as the Constitution of the U.S. is not about religion, even though I regard it as a wonderful tool for many. Church and State must be kept separate and morals and ethics pursued as a nation.

These IDIOTS can’t even keep their own religious rhetoric straight! If President Obama is the Anti-Christ as these morons claim, and if Satan is pulling his strings as these morons claim, then Satan, according to logic, would be DANCING IN THE STREETS!!! If President Obama is the Anti-Christ & he gets his nominee into the SCOTUS, Satan wouldn’t be the one throwing the tempertantrum!!! If God doesn’t like President Obama aka, the Anti-Christ, & the President does his JOB according to the CONSTITUTION, & God doesn’t like it & is going to destroy America over it, why doesn’t He just wait til ARMEGEDDON when He’s scheduled to destroy ALL the things He doesn’t like anyway? He’s gonna come down TWICE??? THAT isn’t in the BIBLE & I’ve read it three times!!! I’m a Christian & I’m SICK of these psuedo “christians” using God & Jesus & the Bible to promote everything they LOVE (guns & WAR, they keep trying to hurry Armegeddon up & then complain about how EVIL ISIS is for doing the same thing!) & condemn everything they HATE!!! (mostly just people trying to live their own lives & make enough in wages to feed their families & pay their bills!) If homosexuality was sooooo freaking IMPORTANT, how come JESUS never said ONE WORD about it, but He sure said PLENTY about HYPOCRISY & THE LOVE OF MONEY (GREED) BEING THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL (NOT HOMOSEXUALITY) & not feeding the POOR or taking care of the SICK & even not taking care of those in PRISON!!! Jesus said that’s the crap that will get sent you to HELL, it is even said in Revelation 11:18, last line, “…and shall DESTROY those who are DESTROYING the EARTH,” like these Climate change deniers are doing by supporting the fossil fuel industry instead of CLEAN REWABLE ENERGY, BUT He didn’t say one word about homosexuality or President Obama or the SCOTUS!!! Go read Matthew 25: 31 thru 46 you stupid toad!!!
