Trump Insults Debate Audience For Booing Him

Another highlight/lowlight last night came when Donald Trump attacked the audience at the GOP debate after they booed him. Watch below. Via The Hill:

Donald Trump was booed loudly during the Republican debate when he claimed the audience was stacked with Jeb Bush’s donors and special interests. “That’s all of his donors and special interests out there,” Trump said as the crowd began heckling him. The crowd first booed Trump seconds earlier when the billionaire ordered Bush to “quiet,” raising his finger to his lips.

The boos rose even louder as Trump continued insulting the crowd. “The RNC told us,” Trump said. “We have all donors in the audience. “And the reason they’re not loving me is I don’t want their money … I don’t want their money, I don’t need their money and I’m the only one up here that can say that.” The RNC reportedly hit back at Trump’s claim, saying that only 75 donors were in attendance in an audience of 1,000.
