COLORADO: Planned Parenthood Shooter Surrenders, Two Civilians And One Police Officer Dead

The Washington Post reports:

A suspect is in police custody following an hours-long ordeal at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs, Colo., where at least five police officers and six civilians were injured in a shooting Friday. One of the injured officers has died, a federal law enforcement official told The Post. The Colorado Fraternal Order of Police also said Friday evening that “it is with great sorrow that we must report that one of the officers shot today … has died.” Police were still trying to determine the gunman’s identity — and his motive — following his capture at the clinic.

CNN reports that two civilians were also killed. Their identities are being withheld.
