Adele – Hello [VIDEO]

Vanity Fair reviews the new track:

As she announced she would yesterday, Adele has dropped her first music video in three years. Directed by Canadian auteur Xavier Dolan, “Hello” features mostly lush close-ups of Adele, her co-star Tristan Wilds (The Wire, 90210), and the rain-soaked Montreal landscape. But while the video is intimate, it also has an epic feel to it. That large-scale feeling is likely due to the cast that “Hello” is the first music video to ever film with IMAX cameras. Leave it to Adele to come back in a major way. When unveiling her new single, Adele told the BBC the new song was “very intimate” and “very conversational. I’m singing very high up in that chorus, trying to have a Meatloaf moment or something,” she joked.

The new album, 25, will be released on November 20th. Her 2011 release, 21, has sold over 30 million copies worldwide and is one of the greatest-selling albums in history.
