Hillary Clinton Dismisses Ben Carson On Muslim President: Yes, There Can Be One, Now Let’s Move On

Via Mediaite:

In the 24 hours since Ben Carson said he does not believe a Muslim-American should be president of the United States on Meet the Press, there has been plenty of hand-wringing and equivocating from both his campaign and the rest of the GOP presidential field in response. But perhaps the most succinct and direct reaction came from Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton on Twitter Monday morning. Rather than defend Carson’s right to “freedom of speech” or an unpopular opinion, Clinton turned directly to the U.S. Constitution, which states very clearly that religion should not be a barrier to public office. It was a point that even religious conservative candidates like Ted Cruz and Mike Huckabee echoed in their respective responses to the question today.

It seems like Clinton has become more aggressive in responding to these sort of things. Long overdue.
