Even More Hypocrisy From Website Of Feminist Erick Erickson: “Homely Hillary Clinton” Slept Her Way To Power

“If Hillary Clinton possesses any unique selling proposition beyond proving even a homely woman can sleep her way into power, it is her tenure as Barack Obama’s secretary of state. That seems to be a slender enough reed when polls show the electorate could give a flying rat’s patootie about experience and favor a change agent above all.” – From a posting on RedState, whose editor Erick Erickson disinvited Donald Trump from his convention because Trump’s “sexist attack” on Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly.

IMPORTANT CORRECTION: The first draft of this post mistakenly attributed the above quote to Erickson himself. My apologies.

GOP Front Runner: Erick Erickson is a total loser. Yo Total Loser you didn’t mention the fact she was a senator.

Yeah. The GOTP’s war on women continues. I’ve no issues with criticizing Hillary’s credentials or her views. But if you are going to comment on her like this, you pretty much admit you have nothing of substance to complain about with her.

But Megyn is beautiful, and a “natural” blond.

Erick Erickson has no right criticizing the appearance of anyone else. How many chins does he have?

Sleaze: See Erick Erickson. See also, sleazy, sleaziest.

    Right.

This from a fuckweasel who, as my granddad used to say, is as homely as a peck of assholes and has more chins than the Beijing phone book.

Yep. The same ones who stare me down and yell “what are you looking at faggot” while scratching their fat bellies and belching while their comb over is flapping around in the breeze. As if we could all be so lucky as to wake up to THAT every morning.

First, Hillary is NOT homely, NOR did she sleep her way to power. But, if Erickson really wants to know what a Homely Whore looks like, all he has to do is look into the mirror.

    • Ragnar Lothbrok

His mirror is cracked and his cracks are mirrored.

      • People4Humanity

        His crack has mirrors.

That would be kind of cool.

        • And on his mirror is no doubt a substantial quantity of crack.

    • ggg

But is the argument really that if a woman is not attractive that there is no valid way for her to earn power? Do we have to argue back that Hillary IS attractive in order to prove that she did NOT sleep her way to the top? She could be ugly as any man and still she did not sleep her way to the top. To participate in this misogynist reasoning that only looks elevate a woman to power just supports their argument. Hillary’s looks, pretty or ugly are IRRELEVANT.

      • GayOldLady

I agree with that assessment. Still, I couldn’t let that comment pass without rejecting it as untrue.

I keep thinking back to my own experience in the early 80s with the Young Republicans in college, many of whom are major players in the party today. To them, life was like a pick-up football game, no refs. Get away with as much as you can, unless someone more powerful calls you on it and stops you. To these guys, even back them, playing dirty was fuuuuuun!

To Erick, what tRump said wasn’t wrong. Getting called on it effectively was wrong. You’re supposed to be a better skilled bastard than that.

  • Princess Lardass

I still can’t believe NBC Nightly News gave this guy coverage for snubbing Trump at RedState. Even the nastiest comments on here pale to what he’s said in the past.

    • Jamie Brewer

Erickson’s snubbing of Trump blew up in his face. Trump seems to be more popular than ever after humbling Fox News. Fox is not going to give up ratings in the name of principles or journalism.

And if any Redstaters drop by, see what Joe did there? That’s called ethics.

      ethics: ˈeTHiks / noun
      plural noun: ethics; noun: ethics
      1. moral principles that govern a person’s or group’s behavior.
      2. the branch of knowledge that deals with moral principles.

The first night of the DNC 2012 convention featured numerous speeches by strong,
accomplished women. First lady Michelle Obama, equal pay activist Lilly Ledbetter, NARAL Pro-Choice American President Nancy Keenan and congressional candidate Tammy Duckworth, an Iraq war veteran and former Army pilot (who also faced sexism from her opponent Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL), saying Duckworth will only debate “which outfit she’ll be wearing”). But clearly Erickson (and Rep. Walsh) felt the need to demean and silence powerful women in his idiotic tweet.

Erick Erickson responded to the DNC’s impressive roster of accomplished women speakers by tweeting this lovely sexist gem:

Now who popped the sour pickle out of his ass? Give him a few minutes on the NBC Nightly News…and suddenly he thinks HE is all the rage!

    T minus 15 minutes and counting…..

  • Ninja0980

I think the snubbing of Trump by Erickson blew up in his face solely because it looks like they are tring to get rid of someone Republicans don’t want running more then anything else.
Trump’s comment was vile but Erickson has said enough horrible things about women to put Trump to shame.

  • I’m not that big a Hillary fan but this is laughably absurd. Her attractiveness is irrelevant, but the idea that she only got where she was by sleeping with people is ridiculous and doesn’t the first half of that (her being “homely”) undercut the second premise? She was on the fast track well before marrying Bill Clinton. Top of her class and a high profile intern gig with Bill Weld researching the history of Impeachment for the Watergate Hearings. If anything, he hung back for years as first lady in Little Rock and DC. I have a lot of criticize HRC for, but this is nonsense. If this is the best the right has on her (plus, Benghazi!) they might as well cancel their nominating convention and not run a candidate at all.

    • TommyTune

That still won’t stop them from making a Mount Everest out of the tiniest mole hill and banging on about it until the cows come home. They are nothing if not relentless.

  • DesertSun59

It amuses me when the GOP does this sort of thing (and the vitriol with which they diss Planned Parenthood) and turn around to say there is no such thing as a war on women.

    They’re only fooling their base.

Where is this mysterious poll that shows the electorate favors a non-experienced “change agent”? 19 or 20 percent of GOP primary voters does not qualify as the “electorate”. Head over to Real Clear Politics and click on President 2016, and then head to head matchups.

If the best you can come up with is to insult a politician on their looks, you are scraping the outside of the bottom of the barrel. The real problem I’m having in deciding is that like with Obama and Clinton 8 years ago, I want Hillary and Bernie on the same ticket. And that’s the thing; the Republicans have a clown car, and Democrats have too many good choices.

Conservatives have accused Hilary for years of both being a lesbian, and also having many different heterosexual affairs.
