The GOP Debate: Songified

  • David L. Caster

Somehow, I don’t feel quite so bad after seeing the GOP debate this way. Not that it improves the GOP, its ideas, or wannabe representatives mind you. At least this is mildly entertaining and didn’t raise my blood pressure.

What is it about Rand Paul’s voice that made it so difficult to auto-tune?

    • TampaDink

I’m not sure….but suspect that it has something to do with his “hair”.

      • Eebadee-eebadee-thatsallfolks

It also interferes with cell phone reception and pacemakers.

But….it does serve as a thrifty alternative to Brillo Pads™.

    • Jim Detwiler

The audio from FOX was awful and Paul was shouting, might have made it harder…

    “We need brain.” Perfect.

    Dee-lightful fun.
was slayed last p.m. with Jeb’s, “I’m gonna run hard,”
For the childish visual of erect mid-aged man sprinting in running shorts.
Still snicker (quietly) to hear my dear old mother telling me to,
    “sleep hard.” #kickstand #rollover

Rubio needs his fraudulent credit-card abusing ass kicked. Hillary Clinton won’t be lecturing anyone on how to live paycheck-to-paycheck. She’ll be trying to strengthen the economy so that fewer people have to live hand-to-mouth, paycheck-to-paycheck.

Classic Republican candidate technique of trying to turn one’s own personal vulnerabilities into an attack via distortion. Marco Rubio misused a Republican party-issued credit card to pay for personal expenses, including family vacations. Anyone else does that and they get fired from their job, and probably prosecuted.

Another classic example of Rubio’s financial acumen is how after struggling to pay mortgages and credit card debt for years, he signed an $800,000 sweetheart deal with a book publisher, and then went out and bought an $80,000 speedboat (a sort of self-tithe?), and leased a $50,000 SUV.

I don’t think Hillary Clinton or anyone else could meaningfully lecture you, Rubio, against that kind of irresponsible, self-aggrandizing financial foolishness. You are too corruptible, too foolish, too undisciplined, and too reckless with your own money to be trusted with the public’s.
