Stop Silencing Ryan Anderson!

Two days ago Heritage Foundation spokesman Ryan Anderson declared victory over the review “trolls” at Amazon when his new anti-gay book hit #1 in a niche category nobody had ever heard of. But that victory was apparently empty boasting as today the Heritage Foundation itself published a furious reaction to those negative reviews in an article which includes screencaps of comments made here on JMG. The Heritage Foundation and Anderson are particularly furious about one Amazon review which includes a photo from a concentration camp.

We might take Anderson’s complaint about the Holocaust photo seriously if he had ever once spoken up about the many, many, many times his conservative colleagues used Nazi imagery and phrases to characterize the LGBT civil rights movement. Visit Breitbart, World Net Daily, BarbWire or virtually any other far right-wing site and you’ll find stories illustrated with the rainbow flag overlaid with a swastika, typically with a headline that includes the words “Gaystapo” and “homofascist.”  Until Ryan Anderson calls out those websites and writers by name, we’ll find it very hard to summon any sympathy for his outrage over anonymous Amazon reviews.

  • Peter Wde

The concentration camp pic is way out of line.

    • oikos

I’m sure your republican masters will complain as well. Next.

      • Peter Wde

I’ll just go ask them…stay tuned.

        • RoFaWh

You just do that, y’hear, hon?

          • Peter Wde

            I heard!

    • jomicur

The implication being that a book designed to demean, degrade an dehumanize an entire class of American citizens is NOT out of line? Sure. Right. Got it.

      • Peter Wde

        Try again.

        • jomicur

That’s really the best you can come up with? No wonder we’re winning.

          • oikos

            We’re winnning, he’s whining.

          • Peter Wde

On the contray, I’m thrilled you won. It was just your critcal thinking that’s a bit dodgy.

      • scottrose

Exactly. And why is Amazon promoting anti-gay hate speech?

        • Peter Wde

Because they want to promote the free exchage of ideas perhaps…and make a buck or two doing it.

Hate speech = free speech = protected speech.

          • jomicur

And of course Ryan Anderson is the only one with free speech rights. No one else has any right whatever to criticize him and his damn silly book. Of course. Why haven’t I seen this before?

    • kaydenpat

Have you spoken out against Scott Lively’s “Pink Swastika” book where he makes ridiculous claims trying to link gays with the 3rd Reich?

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Pink_Swastika

If no, you have nothing to say to anyone here. Move along.

      • Peter Wde

        No and no.

    • McSwagg

If you look closely at the picture, you will see that all the prisoners are wearing the inverted triangle symbol on their tunics. That is the symbol the Nazis assigned to “homosexuals”. The “homosexuals” were the only death camp victims that were not liberated when the Allies routed the Nazis. They remained imprisoned when all the other groups were released.
      http://dailysignal.com/wp-content/uploads/718ryan7.png
Anderson’s book makes the case for re-imposing outdated and outmoded religious based oppression on a minority group. We will not sit idly by and allow that to happen again without a fight.

      • Peter Wde

        Great!

  • The new term to join “gaystapo” and “homofascist” (which followed “gay mafia”) is “Rainbow Jihad.” That’s what the pervy-looking, closet case radio troll Steve Deace, of Iowa has taken to calling any effort made at gay rights.

I have been a good flying monkey. I have commented on every. single. post. and it is driving them nuts. There’s many there still defending the Regnerus Study, it is actually pathetic and sad how lost the anti-gay industry is on all levels.

      • StraightGrandmother

I’m so glad you showed up Guest, did you read the Heritage article and see where they cite you?

        • Gest2016

Yes! I MADE HERITAGE! It tickles me to death that some people are saying this is a vast homo fascist conspiracy funded by the Obama Administration. Sorry bigots, just one pissed of gay man on a laptop in bed, standing firmly in truth. Hardly anyone even rebuts me there, except to support Mark REgnerus, which is a huge admission — it lets me know how completely feeble and out of touch the professional anti-gay hate industry is now. They thought we were weak and stupid and would let them continue to savage us with junk science. They were wrong. They have nothing. I actually look forward to this next, final phase of the “culture war” they started — it’s like watching spinning turds right before the final flush. Faster and faster they spin!

And P.S. thanks StraightGrandmother, i know how instrumental your voice has been in all this. Mark Regnerus will forever regret the day he tried to pull one past you!

          • StraightGrandmother

thanks for editing your comment Guest as a gift I’ll share one never revealed effort, actually more than anything this is how I contributed. So there was this newspaper reporter who wrote an article or two on Regnerus but then nothing new was being reported so I called her up and suggested that she file a Freedom of Information Act Request to his school for the records. And she did! There is a little more to the story but this is all I care to share, it was that Freedom of information Act request which revealed the collusion between Regnerus, Brad Wilcox out of Univ of Virginia and Luis Tellez at Witherspoon.

She liked my idea and followed through so when she would write I would blast those revelations out to a bunch of Sociologists as I wanted to make sure they saw it. My real efforts were in uncovering information which I did in completely legal and legitimate ways and this is but one example. I don’t think any Sociologists were influenced by me but the real documents I helped pry loose, it was the information itself that was persuasive, not me as a person. Why would any professional org care what I think? I don’t have a PhD, rather the information I helped secure was influential. The reporter moved on to another employer and I’m not even sure the paper is still in business or else I wouldn’t say anything. One thing I found out about reporters and she told me this bluntly is that I should not mistake her reporting as her being an “activist” for my side. She is an honest, fair & professional reporter, it took more than one contact from me requesting her to file a FOIA before she made up her mind to do it. In other words she was not an activist reporter on our side that she just dropped everything & ran with the idea.

          • Ontogenesis

Good work! And yes, all we can ask of reporters is that they report fairly and accurately — and if they happen to follow a bread crumb trail left by you, why not? ๐Ÿ™‚

    • scottrose

The photo in question from a concentration camp shows prisoners wearing pink triangles, i..e. homosexual concentration camp prisoners. It’s fitting, as Ryan T. Anderson’s mentor Robert George organizes anti-gay hate rallies where his chosen speakers yell through megaphones that homosexuals are “worthy to death.”

      • oikos

No question they have advocated for our death and imprisonment and cited Leviticus as justification for doing so. Their poutrage is laughable.

      • Schlukitz

Several commentatorson The Daily Signal have announced that they are outraged by the holocaust picture.

What have they got to be outraged about?

It is gays who every good reason to be outraged, not by the picture, but of what happened to us during the Holocaust. Not one of those a-holes picked-up on the pink triangle sewn to the jackets of the prisoners depicted.

In the end, every argument that they come up with, is always about how persecuted they are and how we are going to take away their precious “religious freedom” while they do everything in their power not only to silence us, but keep us second-class citizens to be shunned and discriminated against at all costs.

Also, I just couldn’t with the commenters on that site: the use of the Nazi imagery was NOT even analogy: those were gay prisoners! The Nazis really were Christians, who really did see gays as inferior citizens, and really did send us into concentration camps or kill us!

Thinking about it, as many TV appearances as he has made, the one thing I’ve never heard him say is : “I have gay friends”.
Granted, if he ever said it, Ryan was probably filibustering another guest and I wouldn’t have heard it.
Ed Schultz cut his mic off on an appearance.

          • StraightGrandmother

Of course I watched the whole Ed Schulz interview and I agreed with Ed, Ryan simply wouldn’t shut up and let anyone else talk. He was very very rude, but I also notice since exactly after that on the air take down he has changed his ways and is a more respectful guest when he is being interviewed. He no longer constantly interrupts another guest and hogs the microphone. I think Ed did him a favor actually although he tweeted the Hell out of it trying to gin up sympathy, Ed did him a favor because he showed him how rude he was being. Ryan learned that lesson and I have not seen him repeat that behavior.

          • scottrose

Why has he been yakking incessantly on the issue of marriage? As a single person what does he really know about it? You can “study” something until your face turns blue, but until you experience it first hand, you often learn what you didn’t know far outweighs what you thought you knew.

Anderson should submit a formal complaint to Amazon. If pseudo reviews are deliberatley being posted to skew the ratings negatively he has a valid point and I know Amazon tries hard to keep the review sections honest.
The concentration camp pic is beyond despicable.

Not just the Jews… our people too! Never again.

      • Peter Wde

        context, context, context

      • Schlukitz

It is obvious that Peter Wde does not avail himself of the information that may be freely gleaned from the History books as well as the Internet.

“Overall, we can estimate the number of males convicted of homosexuality from 19331944 at between 50,000 to 63,000. The number of homosexuals incarcerated in the Nazi concentration camps is not known, much less the number who died there. Rudiger Lautmann in hisGesellschaft und Homosexualitat: Seminar [Frankfurt: Suhrkamp, 19771, whose figures are used by Plant and other writers, estimates that somewhere between 5,000 to 15,000 homosexuals perished behind the barbedwire fences. These were victims who were labeled and processed as homosexuals. A figure of about 10,000 homosexuals is the one accepted by most scholars (although figures are thrown about wildly and estimates run as high as Jean Boisson’s one million dead.) Gay leaders and writers insist on higher figures in order to legitimate their claim of special pleading. Yet, why indeed are 10,000 killed less tragic than one million? In the aftermath of the Holocaust, numbers themselves seem to lose their significance. In any case, the major Holocaust institution in the USA, the US Holocaust Memorial Museum, recognizes the “gay genocide.”

        http://chgs.umn.edu/educational/homosexuals.html

    • StraightGrandmother

And you think his “good” reviews are not fake and simply friends & supporters of his? MOST of the good reviews are not verified purchases either.

Nope the internet works both ways. We have an opinion on his book and we are allow to state our opinion.

      • Cuberly

One of the positive reviewers claims to have read the pre-published galleys of the book. I mentioned this before but how can someone make a claim like that, having access prior to publishing, yet sill be allowed to post.

Having a ringer in your midst to prop up reviews is not a legitimate review source.

        • Peter Wde

You need to get out more, publishers often make manuscripts available prior to publishing to obtain advance reviews.

          • Cuberly

Galleys are typically versions out for copy editing. Correct?

          • Peter Wde

…and reviews. Prior to publication of the last two Stephen King books there were advance reviews at Amazon weeks before the official publication date.

          • Cuberly

Use of the term “galleys”, at least in my understanding is those are used for circulating for editing. Usually between a group of people with a check-off list after they’ve cited changes etc.

I’ve seen more than my share of preview versions. Galleys are a different animal.

          • Peter Wde
          • Cuberly

“Advanced Copies, Galleys, Proofs, & other Pre-first Edition Books. A pre-first edition is any limited run copy of a book printed before the first standard edition is published. These include advance(d) reader copies (ARCs), galleys, salesman’s editions, proofs and sometimes manuscripts”

Ha, this is news to me. I’ve worked at a marketing as well as a media company and the term galleys was used specifically in reference to internal copies for editing. The term “pre-production copies” was what they used once the piece left the Galley phase.

            Lesson learned.

          • Peter Wde

I’ve had to edit and proofread manuscripts as well, including my own.

          • scottrose

A comment about a book posted to Amazon’s website is NOT a professional book review, no matter what.

          • Peter Wde

Fake reviews sully the review “pools” and Amazon spends a great deal of time and money to keep everything honest.

Your mileage may vary of course.

          • Schlukitz

Amazon is not the only source of information about a book.

It’s called Google. Do look into it.

          • Peter Wde

            I will.

          • oikos

Isn’t your non accredited university closed now?

Nope, still open for all things academic. But thanks for asking.

          • Virtually every positive review of this book is 5-star. That doesn’t happen with real reviews, it just doesn’t. Both ends of the scale on this book’s reviews are bogus with virtually nothing in the middle. People protesting the “flying monkeys” are being disingenuous if they’re not equally perturbed by the 5-stars.

      • Peter Wde

I reviewed the five-star reviews and in my assessment most of them appear valid (most of those reviews are tagged as “verified Amazon purchases”) which lends credence to my conclusion. While a few of the one-star reviews may be genuine its clear to me most are not, plus I don’t see any that are tagged as above.

No one is contesting anyone’s right to state any opinion they wish on the internet, however, encouraging others to deliberately negatively skew the Amazon ratings of a particulat item without properly reviewing it is behaving unethically.

        • StraightGrandmother

Well you will be disappointed to know that I was quite busy on the Brendan Eich campaign as well then. I don’t need to read his book, I have been reading him & listening to him non stop since a few days before it came out. He has been on a real tear, I even listened to his whole interview on Hugh Hewitt, I KNOW what is in the book. He cites Regnerus & Sullins and features the COG’s (Children of Gays) the Robert Oscar Lopez Quartete. I know what is in the book as he won’t shut up about it. He ran an article at the Baptist website Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, he linked SEVEN TIMES in a short article back to his book and again went on and on what is in his book. Trust me we all KNOW what is in his book, we don’t need to buy it. And knowing what is in his book we are free to critique & reject it.

        • Schlukitz

One does not need to purchase, much less read, a copy of Mein Kampf to give a negative review on it.

A book that seeks to minimalize and denigrate LGBT people gets neither my money…nor my good rating on Amazon.

          • Peter Wde

Yep, aint capitalism wonderful…thanks for putting the “free” in free market!

    • ultragreen

Pseudo-reviews are not restricted to negative reviews; the positive reviews to his book could just as easily be pseudo-reviews. And besides, any reasonably sane person with a modicum of intelligence already knows that his book is a piece of crap. RTA’s views on marriage, and gay marriage in particular, are already well-known because he never stops yapping about it.

The kind of thinking that is being advocated by RTA is what ultimately leads to concentration camps, not to mention all of the bullying, discrimination, repressive laws, and published lies that invariably precede them.

      • Peter Wde

Not getting cake then…concentration camps even!!

When you don’t have a marketing budget for your “book” why not exploit every angle you can think of. Heck, tell your pals at the HF to pitch in and highlight the deluge of negative comments.

At least that’s what it looks like to me. From Anderson’s point of view I mean.

        Why is he doing that?

  • BeaverTales

Freeping a poll is one thing. I can’t agree with making fake reviews on Yelp, Amazon or anywhere. Huge pet peeve that has wasted my time in the past and I don’t trust any site that tolerates it.

Unfortunately, the honest way to trash the book is to read the book..I’m betting much of the praise for Ryan’s book isn’t honest readership to begin with.

Amazon and Bezos need to deal with this in a credible way or they can go fuck themselves as far as me trusting their site reviews ever again.

Here is my advise for Ryan, but I don’t expect him to take it.

    • scottrose

He’s looking more pathetic by the week, a self-appointed “leader” of a crusade to “reestablish a healthy marriage culture” that focuses mainly on denigrating gay people, scapegoating gay people, and yet, he is not married. He alleges that the highest good of marriage is children, yet he is not anywhere near providing a loving home to children. Unlike, say, April and Jayne.

      The “Reichskonkordat” was the political

      Article 3

In order to foster good relations between the

I know the drill, I took a screencap, this is from the Heritage article where they cite me several times, this is a comment left there.

Tee-Hee, they are so stupid, they are just now finding out about the Flying Monkeys? An entire cultural WAR which we WON, and just now they are finding out about the flying monkeys? They are just really really terrible at what they do. Our side does constant reconnaissance to keep track of what they are up to. I go read almost everything Ryan Tweets out, and he is so dumb I will bet the hole against the doughnut that he never ever visits the sites of his opposition, that he only invests his time and efforts in Right Wing circles. By monitoring right wing websites, I recently found out that NARTH is trying to float a “real” study to prove de-gaying therapy works. It’s in the works. See I don’t just hang around here, I go out and do recon, but you know Ryan et al don’t want to get their eyes dirty by reading from gay rights outlets. I laughed my butt off, that ONLY after they LOST, that NOW he finds out about the Flying Monkeys? Pathetic leader.

I’ll bet they’ll be giving his book away soon. The main audience that subscribes to this kind of BS reads WND and Breitbart. I doubt they shop for books on amazon and unless their church buys it in volume and gives it away they’ll never know it even exists.

Well said, Joe! Their hypocrisy reeks. Just today Breitbart made some despicable attempt to connect the rainbow flag with the shooting at the base in TN! These scumbags have no shame. Now they call foul after they’ve been saying outlandish and hateful things against gay people for years.

That Kentucky Clerk he is defending right & left, the one married FOUR TIMES, see I opposed that, he should not be defending the rights of our civil servants to discriminate against people who are gay.

    • Randy Left Brooklyn

Off topic, but do you remember what happened to that Florida university that was involved in the Regnerus scandal? They were being investigated for something grossly unethical. Do you remember the details and the denouement of that investigation? I can’t remember the details, but I remember you had researched it thoroughly. Thanks in advance for any info.

      • EDinMCO

That school is my (and Joe’s) alma mater, Univ of Central Florida. There’s an ongoing investigation into how Regnerus was even published that has stalled and fallen off news radar. Last year, a state trial court granted a public records request for all the Regnerus-related documents and emails which was then overturned on appeal. http://www.watermarkonline.com/2014/05/08/appeals-court-dismisses-ucf-case-on-flawed-lgbt-study/

    .

    • kaydenpat

Sorry to hear that he has more positive reviews. More Flying Monkeys are needed!

    • Stev84

For people who are silenced they never shut up

    • When I last checked, it was something like 57% positive reviews. As I mentioned before (as an actual NYT & USA Today bestselling author)–Amazon doesn’t care if a book has good or bad reviews–it provides visibility to a book when someone searches on its site based on the NUMBER of reviews. One hundred or more is a tipping point in terms of giving a major advantage for a book’s marketing. Professional authors know bad reviews are more valuable than no reviews. A few years ago, there was a lot of discussion amongst pro authors about a trash author who kept distributing bestiality porn. This is in violation of Amazon (and the other booksellers) TOS, but it was so lucrative, by the time he would get a book pulled, he would have already sold thousands of copies. This led to an spread of (UK to start with ) tabloids accusing all the major booksellers as pushing porn. This had a devastating impact on the lives and income of a lot of authors, where there was a broad yank of previously published material. The worst situation was with Kobo. If you had a dozen books on puppies and one erotica title, they’d remove your entire catalog. There was a follow up of tabloids trying to exploit the comedy and parody of books (“dinosaur porn” was a focus) as examples of depravity to point to and laugh. This would be like banning fairy tales because they advocate female gingerbread bakers as advocating cannibalism. I’m just troubled by how the market works–there’s no such thing as bad publicity. The more people with actual education and more than double digit IQ points document what trash this is, the more it’s going to sell. The guy who made more than most of us on JMG with his bestiality books was never arrested. Amazon is heavy handed about banning repeat offenders, but this just means opening up a new account under a different name and social security number. A lot of people have felt the temporary profit is worth the hassle. And again–Amazon can leave something up for a long time even though the work in question violates its terms. This is one of those “false positive” things, where Reviewer A may let something pass that is in obvious violation and Reviewer B will yank something that isn’t. Among pro writers there is a lot of discussion over whether or not one reviewer is on “happy hour” and if that balances out Amazon reviewers who are the type who would have left a 5 star review on Anderson’s trash and then happily stamp “rejected” on a legitimate book because the reviewer found it “icky.” In full disclosure, Amazon doesn’t usually block (i.e., remove) a book. They “adult filter” it which means if you are an ordinary reader, it will not show up on your Amazon searches. It’s like a store that keeps books you want off the shelf where you can see them, and keeps them under the counter.

And again- in full disclosure, my stuff had few problems, and the ones that did had the adult filter removed when I asked for additional review, so it became obvious the problem was with an individual reviewer.

As an alternative, if let’s say–someone would complain to Amazon Anderson’s book violated Amazon’s TOS that would be interesting to watch, but it would just play into the lucrative martyr marketing the people who self-identify as Christians who can want to impose theocracy are advocating.

      • StraightGrandmother

Thank you for this information Ty. I also wonder how he is getting it in these multiple categories. Like being number one in the Constitutional Law category. Sure part of his book is his opinion that Obergefell was decided wrongly according to the Constitution, however that is not the biggest part of his book. I think David Latt’s book Beneath Their Robes should be then classified as a Constitutional Law book which would beat the pants off of Anderson’s “Constitutional Law” book.

If the little closet case, barely post-pubescent twerp is so sure of his position then WHY is he getting his panties in such a knot over this? Why does he care what a bunch of fringe LGBT activists think of him? Why why why?

    • scottrose

When you’re thinking about the prison camp comparison, remember that Rotten T. Anderfuck’s mentor Robert George argued to the Supreme Court in Lawrence v. Texas that homosexuals should be prosecuted and jailed for their intimacy.

  • D. J.

Eric Metaxas? Srsly? I guess that is better than the third eagle of the apocalypse…..

    • oikos

Never heard of him. Another obscure fundie.

      • scottrose

Let’s face it; if Ryan T. Anderson slipped on a banana peel tonight, and then died of the injuries sustained, his death would of course be TRAGIC, but it wouldn’t mark any great loss to intellectual life.

        • Robincho

Here’s the diff between a calamity and a tragedy: If Rotten T. Neanderfuck were walking along and slipped on a banana peel and ultimately died, that would be a calamity. If some observant person saw that this was about to happen, but then rushed over to remove the banana peel, that would be a tragedy…

  • Ninja0980

Remember, they can compare us to Nazis, pedophiles, zoophiles, kidnappers etc and that is free spech.
If we speak out against that in any way or return the favor in kind, we are trying to “silence” them.
Just another example of the hypocrisy of the bigots.

I think of him as the last queen standing, parading around in his fancy academic tiara while the whole world laughs that such a pathetically, obviously self hating gay man would think he has any standing at all after losing the most epic religious battle in American history to a tune of $100 million+ spent against us.

  • BaddogLtd

Get used to that sound Ryan…

      Perfecto Mundo! ๐Ÿ™‚

Why does Ryan hate our bible studies here at the JMG?

  • Josh447

A completely clueless hack who thinks he knows everything there is to know about sexuality. The devil in the Bible is soooo having our way with us!

I read an op-ed which clearly and succinctly explains this apparently contradictory viewpoint by Ryan Anderson. According to the author, individuals who believe in a certain brand of faith and religion view themselves from the Roman Empire perspective. . .either you are the person in power and authority, or you are the victim and the martyr. There is no room for plurality in their personality. So, the more power they lose, the more they view themselves as victims and martyrs; rather than realizing there are multiple viewpoints in a secular society. He will never see himself (or others like him) except as either the moral authority in power and control, or the martyr and victim of persecution by others who force them to follow rules or laws they did not create and impose themselves. It’s basically a no win situation, and according to the author the best answer is to ignore them. . .because they will have no power or authority if they are ignored, and it removes the victimization and martyr persona from their stance.

I am not suggesting we ignore anti-gay bigots in power or in realms of influence, but we also should not give any authority or power to those who are seeking martyrdom or victimhood as a pathway to power.and influence.

  • KAS

One other item to add. R. Anderson probably bought the only three books necessary to place himself at the #1 spot on that completely obscure bestseller list. . .as long as it wasn’t a bulk buy like Cruz and his aides tried to pull, then this was probably his strategy so he could claim a #1 bestseller on his cover, even though hardly any books were purchased by those outside his closed circle of conspirators.

  • BearEyes

Hey Eric Metaxas -not like your people ever swiftboated an American hero John Kerry.

    • BaddogLtd

Maybe his name is an anagram for ‘TEXAS MERICA’, It would certainly explain a lot. Bad spelling, false equivalency, blind nationalism…

Once again, they think free speech means a right to speak without facing criticism for what you say.

Your hateful, ugly desire to persecute LGBTs and to strip us of rights YOU take for granted will continue to be exposed for the blatant FASCISM it is.

Exposure is the opposite of suppression.

Keep talking and writing, Ryan T. Anderson: we want the world to know exactly what you and those like you are!

No one seeks to “silence” you.

    • billbear1961

“Because argument must be suppressed when all you have are slogans.”

      Jesus, the irony!

Criticism is not suppression. Your hateful, irrational and EMPTY slogans are being exposed for what they are.

If criticism IS suppression, then stop criticizing us!

Why are you trying to suppress what we have to say?

Why do you fear the TRUTH?

We KNOW why: because it rallies people to our side and turns them against arrogant LIARS like YOU!

EDIT: It isn’t haters who are being silenced, but rather LGBTs in places like Russia who are!

Because the fascists know that the ONLY way they can win is to silence the truth while spreading their LIES 24/7.

    • Robincho

      Dear Mr. Bear —

I’d very much like to send you one of my Bach discs via the snail system. Could this somehow be worked
out? (To acknowledge and thank you for your own bountiful sharing of musics with your JMGmates here.)

“It’s an insult to the victims of the Holocaust”. Oh really Fuckface? Tell it to these men. Oh that’s right you couldn’t if you wanted to. Some asshole decided they were inferior and immoral. He even wrote a book about it. It was a bestseller. http://gbmnews.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Nazi_holacost_gay_people_2.jpg

    • Phil

It doesn’t look it, but these were men in their 20’s and 30’s. Yeah, tell it to them, shithead. Oh yeah, they were all dead a few days to a few months after this picture was taken!

That must make Anderson, Gagnon, Lively, Regnerus, Linda Harvey, Brown (both Brian and Michael), Land, Graham, LaBarbera, Maggie, Barber, Moore, et. al. cream in their pants and squeal with delight.

Nothing makes that crowd happier than dead gay men. AND FUCKING SHAME ON THEM!!!!!

All he is is a petulant child who can’t take negative criticism. All those comments, too, about trying to silence those you disagree with…isn’t that what he is currently trying to do with the negative comments? How hypocritical.

  • Wait. They want Amazon to take down a photo? Isn’t that “silencing those with whom you disagree”?

  • Clive Johnson

Hey Patrick Deneen: The fact is that the anti-gay marriage side has never had adequate arguments. You’ve taken a traditional prejudice, imagined it was a moral stance, and then realized that the pro-gay opposition demanded reasons and evidence from you. And then your side collapsed in the courts.
