Wingnut PAC Slams Clinton Campaign Rally At “Inaccessible” Roosevelt Island

As you probably know by now, tomorrow Hillary Clinton will stage a campaign rally on New York City’s Roosevelt Island, which is in the East River between Manhattan and Queens. Since the rally was first announced, right wingers have attacked the “remote” and “inaccessible” location as emblematic of Clinton’s arrogance. (They’re also mocking the fact that it was known as Welfare Island until its 1971 renaming.) While the island is largely car-free, its 14,000 residents are shuttled to the island’s F train station and the famed tramway via the free Red Bus service. Today America Rising PAC slams the event.
