If Alan Robertson Had A Gay Grandson

“I would say, ‘Well first of all, I love you. I’ll never stop loving you. You’ll always be my grandson, but I want to show you what God says, and I want to show you maybe a way to reconsider what you think you are, and maybe you can be something different. I realize that people who feel like they’re gay or trans will tell you, ‘Look, I don’t want to be changed. I don’t want you telling me I can be anything different.’ I would tell them respectfully from a biblical perspective, ‘I don’t think that’s the answer,’ and I would tell my grandson that or anybody else that I run into – and we have done that quite a bit in ministry – but we do that in a sense that’s not judgmental. I wouldn’t say, ‘Get out of here. What’s wrong with you? You’re terrible.’ I would do it in love, and I would try to show them something better.” – Duck Dynasty cast member Alan Robertson, speaking to Huff Post Live.
