Monday: 2009 Broadway Beauty Pageant

For over the rainbow glittery gayness, how about an event that combines barely-clad boys, show tunes, tiaras, and public service for homeless LGBT youth? This Monday the Ali Forney Center presents their annual Broadway Beauty Pageant.

Handsome hunks from your favorite Broadway shows are competing to raise money for the Ali Forney Center, an organization that provides shelter and services to homeless LGBT youth in New York City. Join host Tovah Feldshaw, and our judges Ana Gasteyer, Beth Leavel, Charles Busch and Seth Rudetsky as the boys compete for the crown. In true Beauty Pageant style, these sexy stars square off in the interview competition, talent competition, and the ever-popular swimsuit competition. Buy your tickets now!

The 2009 Broadway Beauty Pageant takes place at Symphony Space, 2537 Broadway at W.95th Street. This year’s contestants are from the casts of Wicked, Hair, The Lion King, Billy Elliot, and The Little Mermaid. Embiggen the image on the left for a special discounted ticket offer.

If you cannot attend, how about a kind donation to one of NYC’s most worthy charities?
